I'm really not that excited about the new mmo stare in case you get it ready it would be nice if it didn't have that same problem that caused zOMG! to be shut down.

they say they took Zomg down patch it up, fix some holes, something about security and all, it was been 6 months sincet hey did that.

Can't you rebuild zOMG, please? It doesn't have to be exactly the same, but it was awesome, and I loved it, so a sibling or a cousin of the original zOMG would be awesome. Please please. heart

The code for that game is so outdated and nobody currently on staff has been trained in that coding to understand where to begin with it. When they were trying to fix the massive bugs with it they brought back an old developer on a contract basis and even he couldn't fix the problems with it without severely breaking the game and costing them a lot of time and money. The code had issues from day one and it relied way too much on Gaia's existing plot and yet it didn't affect the site plot at all. The locations in the game outside of Barton never showed up in the manga. The NPCs barely showed up or were talked about by the other NPCs (IE on Mother's Day Leon doesn't mention his mom Olivia at all). The fact that Barton was overrun by animated things never came about in the manga either. We never did get confirmation on things mentioned by X within the game. On top of that they never confirmed if the plot of zOMG was canon or not. It really didn't mesh well with the site even if it was a good idea. Something that can stand on its own with better easier to understand coding for the programmers is key for the site. It's really time to start fresh.

Excuse me for butting in here, BUT...

Yes, zOMG! had coding problems. Yes, zOMG! was built on an old code that few understand. Yes, no one on current staff understands it because the staff that did either got let go or left.

However, one of the best things about it was that it tied in with the storyline. It got us involved in the world of Gaia. And I pin blame on the mainsite staff for letting the zOMG! storyline fall by the wayside of the "main" plot. The zOMG! devs did their best to tie the game in with the mainsite. In the 2010 Halloween event, they even programmed Halloween Jack to shout "He is coming!" across the areas. V:

I also believe that the What The Fluff manga arc makes zOMG! canon. o3ob

It truly was an excellent, and unique game and I will always vouch for it to come back. 3nodding

I'm quite excited about the avatar builder, interested in the pet system- if it means my Pegacorn fluff will be useful and not just something taking up space in my inventory, fishing... eh, if they change how you fish a bit- I'd do it more, as is I find it too frustrating to play. I wish it were more like Harvest Moon's fishing. Chat... meh, not my thing. I really hope that sometime in the near future we get an update to the games we already have and add some more games to the casino. I'd love to be able to play video poker and BINGO. A word search game would be fun too.

Gotta love that they pretty much ignored/didn't address that users overwhelmingly angry with the hyperinflation/gold generators/wealth gap, and that the site has around a 5/10 approval rating overall.

i am i am, over 300 golden eggs, 1000 eggs collected, but i cant get enough damage! its the last part i have to complete >.<

rofl blast! the easter slots are the worst minigame ever!!!!!!

I am 1863 points and 2486 eggs.... XD and when hit the last achievement I'm done!!!!

I suggest you, that when the wheel come, you should use the level 3, that way it will give you so many points and eggs, and in the balloons just the level 2, and if you are shot of gold, then go the MP and sell one of the golden eggs, that will last you like a XD so many rounds... and it will get you eggs points faster wink

nope im good on gold, its just how long it takes this last section to go down.. I hate it it takes forever and you only get 2 damage, if that, and its not worth hopping on 1 the whole time

You might want to take another look at the results, because the fishing game has less percentage of people wanting it updated than people wanting an improved guild system, a mobile app update, updated achievements, and update site/shop UI. Your own bar graph shows this in the results. Please do not try and convince us that you're completely listening to our feedback, because you're not. If you picked a fishing update over something else because it's quick and easy or something, then tell us that; do not try and tell us that we wanted the fishing update OVER everything else please. /end rant/”

It was mentioned earlier in the thread that: 1) the fishing update had already been in the works (and publicly known to be) prior to the survey, so yes it's going to get high priority. 2) bluealaris said that the 4 listed in the OP are what they plan to get out in the next couple months, but that the other things would come after that. So they're not being ignored, they're just not as high a priority.
