Have you had any therapy addressing your past abuse or self harm? If you haven't I suggest you get some. BDSM should not be misused to sooth SH cravings. I have heard of people who had past abuse recreating an abusive situation with a trusted partner to "change the ending" of the memory in their head. Its an interesting way to reclaim sexuality after sexual abuse.
