Oh how fun. I love cats. I am a cat person. We lost both of our cats within months of each other a couple of years ago. I said no more. Just too heartbreaking.
Then a friend/relative asked me "if we get a dog can he live at your house until we get our own house"? They felt the baby needed a dog but they lived in an apartment and thought it was too small for a dog. They ended up keeping the dog in the apartment but would have me dogsit him at my house when they were away from home too long.
I went to Petsmart to get a new collar for their dog. A woman had these 3 adorable puppies in a shopping cart giving them away. I picked up the tan and white one, played with him. Put him down, did my shopping, was practically out the door... turned, saw the black and white one, picked him up and could not put him down.
I am not a dog person. This is the first dog I've had so it is all new to me. His Petsmart trainer thinks Oswald is close to passing his Canine Good Citizenship test and would make a good therapy dog. She has obviously never seen him on grass
