Why are a lot of the admins'/mods' profiles being set to private? (i.e. Lanzer's profile)

There are a few reasons.

1. We tend to be rather busy folks, and sadly can't always give an answer (or a chain of answers) to everyone that comments in our profiles. ^^;

2. People sometimes confuse the profile comments with the PM inbox, and give out information (such as new email addresses) intended only for PMs.

3. SOME people think it's funny to drop in with ten or so page-stretching comments full of a smooth 50/50 blend of old and new porn.

So, mainly, it's to protect y'all. 3nodding

What are you looking forward to most this year?

Great question! Lots of fun things on Gaia of course - more contests, events, user-created content, etc. You know, a super fun time with a strong emphasis on community fun and creativity!

As for my personal self, going to try and make my goal of a 300 lb deadlift, and climb a very tall mountain. And get to Hawaii a couple of times to see my nephews and niece, and eat papaya and surf. 3nodding

Why do I have to go through so much to get my GG just because I spent 100 dollars all at once? -n-

um...you shouldn't. Here's a methood I use:
1: buy RIG bundles
2: sell RIG bundles for gold.
3: just buy the items you want with the gold instead of throwing money away on a fraction of a chance at a good item.

No well, I spent 100 dollars on GC, and then I had to either do something through gaia or mail something to them to finish the process, I accidently clicked the mail one... I filled out a recipet or w/e for help and what they said was not helpful in any way or mannerism....

......Yeah I"m going to refer you to a staff member for this one. I know a bit about things, but the GCash mail in system isn't my area. I"d reccomend contacting a moderator (green names) or an admin (orange names)

A lot of town-lurkers [that I know, at least] are pretty annoyed with the new towns 2.

Then I highly recommend they let us know what things they want to see improved/changed, because version 1.0 will be going down.

Would a lack in vector graphics and actual use of "sprite art" be a viable thing to ask for? ninja

if javascript fails to load or for whatever reason isn't detected then it goes to the landing page, otherwise to our knowledge the modal popup is working just fine.

Hm, I see. When the new daily chance design was launched it was working fine... but when they made the adjustment to the landing page I only started getting just the landing page and stopped getting the popup. Not too annoying, but I did notice that it happens on other computers. I'll check to see if it is something on my end and report it later in the bug forums.

I haven't really looked into this lately but I was wondering if there are / will be any plans to have a new way to organize our inventories ? I don't know about anyone else but I like having my sets of items together but the outdated organizer makes this really hard.

So I've cleared my cache, tried entering from my Home. But nothing seems to be allowing me to get into Towns. And I've seen some others having this problem too.

Is this a problem that you know of and are working on, or is there something else I need to be trying?

No problem that I know of. Are you able to get to Rally or Towns 2?

No. Every time I try those, they say I'm Not Logged in, or I'm logged in on some other app, such as Rally. When I'm not. And I really enjoyed walking around the Towns, but I'm at a loss when I've tried multiple browsers for Towns and Towns 2 and nothing works.

Is it a new account?

Otherwise, you may have a browser stuck open somewhere, even if you can not see it. You can try a reboot and see if it is still happening.

Very new account. As of this post I still can't buy and sell on the Marketplace.

And I've tried over more than one day to get into Towns.

There is a 3 day wait for some features. Sorry.

Probably the most asked question you guys are going to get; Why do you think it's okay to take away Towns 1 and replace it? Did you notice a decrease in Rally after you "fixed" it?

We need to keep the site maintainable. Keeping around ancient code and old technologies doesn't help us do that xd
