• A faint light shines through the ominous black clouds above the Earth. The world is still, yes, but only for a moment.
The soldiers of both sides lie in wait for the other, anticipating, expecting, whatever is to come from either. A man in black uniform lays atop the earth, seemingly resting. A man in white uniform quietly lays underneath a brush covered with blood.
    The earth is stained.
The rivers are no longer blue, but red -- red from the blood of both enemies. The sounds of the animals, which used to be heard, are no longer there. Instead, the world is still.
Another man in white lingers underneath vegetation. He steadies his gun, waiting, anticipating what will occur next.
His enemy, the man in black, knows all too well the tactics of his enemy. He chooses what most would do in such a situation. He slowly crawls towards a tall tree. He climbs it, knowing that the enemy may hear him if he makes the slightest sound. He reaches the top, covers himself with the leaves of the tree, and waits, anticipating what will occur next.
Both men wait for a signal from the other. Both men lie in anticipation for the enemy's action. But neither move. Both are intelligent.
One man, a man in white, idiotically rushes to the vast blood-stained field. He is easily shot down from a place unknown to the man underneath the vegetation. He quickly fixes his position to avoid detection, but it has only caused his doom.
The man in white foolishly snaps a twig. The sound of the twig gives off his location. The man in black, whose ears are like those of a deer, quickly finds where his enemy has hidden.
    He steadies his gun.
He slowly bends down to look through his lenses.
His eyes light up as he sees his enemy.
His sweat rolls down the side of his cheek.
    Gunshot.
There was a thud on the ground.
Quickly, one of the men runs towards the origin of the sound. As he approaches, he is satisfied at what he sees.
The man on the ground, the man who was shot, was not covered in white, but in black. The man in white, who knew his death was imminent, who knew he had to quickly react, did.
He saw the movement of the man's gun. He saw his slight hesitation as he leaned towards his gun. He saw his opportunity.
From that, the man in white did what most would do in such a situation. He shot his enemy down.
Thus, the man in black, the soldier of the enemy side, had lost.
