• We were in the middle of the living room floor. I had a knife in my hand. "You have to drink every last bit until the wound closes, got it?" I asked. He nodded. I felt a tear run down my cheek as I quickly kissed him "You better not die on me, you got that?" I said. He nodded and quickly kissed me back. I let him go and made a small cut on my wrist. He took my wrist and put his lips to the cut. I felt him drinking every last drop. When my cut closed up, he slumped down and fell to the floor. "Daisuke!" I yelled, shaking him. He groaned "God, I have a splitting headache." he grumbled. "That's all?" I asked. "Yes." he said, sitting up. I let out a sigh full of relief. "It'll go away in a while." I said, smoothing his bangs away from his now eerily brighter green eyes which had miniature stars as pupils. "Are you sure you're okay?" I asked. He nodded, than his eyes seemed to become more lifelike "I've never felt better." he said, standing up. He grinned, I gave him a confused look, and he started running around at light speed. "Daisuke?!" I said, confused. "This is amazing! I can't believe this is how you feel on a daily basis!" he said, but got dizzy and slumped onto the floor. I walked toward him "You shouldn't overdo it." I said. He quickly wrapped his arms around me, trapping my arms to my sides, and kissed me full on the lips. I was surprised, but kissed back. Suddenly, his grasp weakened and he fell to his knees. "Daisuke?" I asked, worried. He shook his head "What a rush." he said, licking his lips. "You need rest." I said, helping him to his feet. He nodded and let me guide him over to the couch. "You need to rest while my blood takes over your human blood." I told him, pushing him to lie down. "Yea, okay." he mumbled, and fell asleep. I kneeled next to him and prayed to the gods "Please, please don't let him die." I muttered.
