• I woke up next to Kyo on his bed in utter darkness. I sat up, it took me a couple seconds to get out of my groggyness and figure out what I was doing there. Than I remembered. My parents were going to my sister's trip that would last the entire winter vacation. So, I was left alone in the house until Kyo found out and offered for me to stay with him. I told him I was fine and Arra and Sora came over a lot, so I wasn't really lonely, but Kyo wouldn't have it. I remembered putting on one of his shirts and falling asleep next to him. His shirt was a little big on me, so I wore it as a dress, too tired to change into anything else. "Oh, yeah" I drawled. I yawned and carefully crawled out of bed, not wanting to wake up my sleeping boyfriend. I was able to quickly get my tooth stuff, brush my teeth, and quietly come back in Kyo's room. I looked at his clock, almost noon, sweet. Perfect time to wake up for winter vacation. It was a bit hard to find my way in the darkness. I lit the only candle in the room. Kyo looked cute in his sleep, his hair a bit of a ruffled mess, one arm hanging over his bedside, sleeping on his stomach, the blanket going up half his back, and his other arm over his head. In his sleep, he mumured "Jubei, don't leave." I quietly walked over to him, bended over him, and whispered in his ear "I'll never leave you." A small smile played on his lips. I sang softly in his ear, careful not wake him up. I sang Everytime we touch (By Cascada, the slow version). He seemed to get more and more peaceful with each verse. When I was done, I quietly walked out of his room and down the stairs. ED and Leon were staying somewhere else for the vacation, so it was just me and Kyo. I walked into the kitchen, some dishes were left dirty in the sink, I washed them. My stomach started growling. I checked in the pantry, no cereal, I sighed. I found some pancake mix, blueberries, a pan, eggs, a spatula, and bacon in the freezer. "Okay, I'll cook." I decided. It was pretty easy, I've done pancakes before for Yukkie when our parents left before us. By the time I finished mine and Kyo's pancakes and bacon, Kyo was coming through the door, rubbing his eye, hair still a mess, and in a white t-shirt and pajama pants. "My girlfriend cooking breakfast for me? I could get used to this!" he said. He plopped down at the table and took a couple bites, he swallowed and grinned "Holy s**t! You are the best cook ever!!!" he said. I blushed a bit at that. When we were done, I washed the dishes as he went upstairs. He didn't say what he was doing, but when I came down, his hair was smoothed down a bit more and his breath was minty. I finshed up and dried off my hands. "You're still wearing my shirt?" he asked. "Yeah, why not?" I asked. "Nothing." he said. I realized what he was talking about. "Do you really wanna see it that bad, you perverted vampire?" I said. "I'm not perverted, any guy would think about it when his girlfriend is in his house with an over-sized t-shirt on as a dress." he pointed out. "So, you are thinking about it." I said, going back to the subject. "Well, a little." he said. "Do I have to search through your mind?" I asked. A while ago, I found I was able to freely wander through people's thoughts. "Alright! I really want to see, okay?" he said, blushing so hard, his head looked like a huge cherry with black cream on top. "Okay, I'll make a deal with you." I said. He looked at me, a little confused. "Just answer a few of my questions honestly, and I'll let you see." I said. "What kind of questions?" he asked. " Oh, just questions When did you move here? Where's your mom and dad? Why am I a goddess? Just regular questions." I said. "Nice try. But, you know I can't tell you stuff like that." he said. "Why not?" I asked, sitting on his lap. "Are you trying to seduce me into telling you the truth?" he asked. I wrapped my arms around his neck "Well, maybe a little." I said. "You're cruel, Jubei." he said as I placed his hand on my waist. "May~be." I whispered. "Crap!" Kyo mumbled. I sighed and got off his lap. "Jubei-" he tried to say. "This secret you're keeping, I really hope it's worth it! Or I'm gunna be really pissed!" I told him. Kyo smiled, that made me smile back at him. The rest of the day, we played video games, whatched t.v, and talked about the new songs we're going to sing for our bands. When night came I took a shower, put on my own pajamas, and we went up to bed. But something happened that night, I woke up and felt pulled to the wide, wall-length window downstairs in the living room. The moon light shone in beautifully. I was humming a song, it was eeiry, yet peacful at the same time (Long long time ago from Pan's Labrynth). The sky was crystal clear with the bright full moon. As I gazed at the moon, it seemed to suck me into it, it seemed to talk to me. "Trust Kyo, be with Kyo. Go your own path, do not stray from your path. Trust in yourself. Become a goddess, but after that, do not allow anyone to tell you what to do. Live your eternity your own way." it said. Someone shook me, someone spun me. I looked, it was Kyo. He was saying something, I couldn't hear him. At that moment, I feinted.
