*adjusts glasses a bit* Name's William Schmidt, though most everybody knows me as Papa Schmidt. I was the guard at Freddy Fazbear's before my son and the new guard, Mike, were even thought of. Crazy things happened way back then too, things I'd rather forget.... Not to dwell on that subject for too lng, I get flashbacks.
After my time locked in the pizzeria every night for what seemed like an eternity, I finally quit. Went through police training and became a cop. I did that for several years until... A bad turn of events got worse. *scowls a bit* I owe a lot to lil Mikey.
Now, I'm retired and I live with Michael. I usually get peace and quiet since he's asleep during the day. Smoking my pipe, reading the paper, and watching TV... It gets boring some days.
That's the basics, any other questions I'm sure I can answer them.

"You're still my dad and I still wouldn't be able to live with myself if you got hurt...or worse." Mike whispered, the thought of the worst case scenario swimming in his mind. "You didn't force me to work here, I came here on my own and I don't want to risk you." Mike silenced himself, looking over at his father. Even though Mike didn't want to dwell on the past, his mind chose to wander whenever things were brought up. Even back then...he loved his dad. "We do make a good team, but I just don't want anything..." There was no point in arguing. Mike fell silent.

Mike replied, voice dropping just a bit. His teenage years weren't exactly the best between him and Papa. He took a moment to glance at his father before his eyes turned downcast, guilt consuming him. "I want to spend more time with you Dad...just not somewhere like this." He really didn't want his father getting hurt at this place.

Mike huffed, casting a sideways glance at his father once he brought the chair over. "I come home every night, and you get to see me during the day. Unless you call sitting in a rundown pizza place a grand moment of father-son bonding."
