The new neighbors feel it is crucially important to wake me up several times a week with creamed conversations on the front lawn. Why they can't just stand next to each other and talk in a normal voice, I don't know. To me, screeching at the tops of one's lungs should be saved for emergencies like "call 911" or " the apartment complex is on fire!" Today's "emergency" was that the electricity was off. I honestly don't understand why it was so crucial I not be allowed to sleep through the power outage. The lights were back on well before dark, after all.
