Growing up on the seaside does have effects on your personality. Kamin developed a 'beach boy' attitude during is time in the southeast. He's a normally laid back creature, calm and relazed in almost every situation. He's also rather shy, and doesn't speak unless the situation calls for it. Some say these traits contradict eachother, but I assure they don't. His shyness doesn't cause him any anxiety, it just keeps him quiet most of the time.
Kamin is quite strong in his religous believes, a trait common in his old pack. He believes his dislike for the desert enviroment is a test from his god, and prays very often for guidance as a result. His deeply rooted religon has given him a love of swimming and water, as well as warmer weather. (He follows the god of oceans...)
history:
Kamin was born southeast of the temple, growing up in a cave community quite close to the beach. The entire pack followed one of several gods whose spirits were present at the seaside, including the goddess of beaches, god of fish, god of estuaries, god of oceans and goddess of whales. The pack thrived on a fish based diet, only eating fruit once a year, when they trudged as a group inland to collect tropical fruits and coconuts.
He and his mother were very close while he lived near the water. She was a devout follower of the goddess of beaches, and attempted to teach her son about her goddess. Tamin, however, had different ideas, and quickly realised it was his calling to follow the god of oceans. Because of this choice, he learned to swim in the tide as a young pup, and still the recalls the smell of saltwater and the feel of wave foam.
Kamin left his paradise home when he became an adult. Although he was in love with the tropical land, the hurricanes were no place to raise a family of his own, so he thought, and with that reasoning, he left his dear mother and his pack behind. After encountering several packs of Malu, he finally settled upon the Temple as his new home. Though quite far from the oceans he loves, he has learned to find the positives of his new desert oasis.

Starbuck is rude and completely disrespectful. She doesn't care for authority one bit, and is quick to voice this view. Her words will also teach you that she is increidbley oppinionated and outspoken, and is never wavered in her ways or thoughts of the world. She always speaks her mind and doesn't really give a darn if it offends someone. Tough luck for them, she says. She doesn't change for anyone, so you'll always know you've got the genuine thing in front of you.
Despite her antisocial behaviour, Starbuck is a sucker for romantics. She doesn't particularly like the idea of love or long term relationships, and commitment just isn't up her alley. She can, however, involve herself with a male long enough to have a bit of fun and even creat a new family, but they will surely split soon after.
Along with all of this, Starbuck has a sort of fish fettish. She loves pestering them to no end, and often builds little dams in the stream to box one in for her own enjoyment. :3

Born into a soap opera of a family, Aurora learned from the start to attempt not to be scene. The scandalous circumstances of her birth have lead her to be introverted and withdrawn, avoiding conversation at all cost. Most talks with outside Malu result in "Say, aren't you that Vul's little girl?", and that's just not a desirable title for the little Maluess.
Despite her shy streak, she is quite kind, and doesn't chase away company if they seak her out. She's the kind that would give away her dinner and go hungry to help another not starve to death. Her quiet demeaner is often stamped as 'sweet' or 'adorable', but it doesn't get to her head. Most of the time, she just huddles with a sibling and ignores the outside world in all it's cruelty.
She enjoys the simple things in life. I know, cliche. But hey, it's her. The most fascinating thinf for Aurora are dew drops, and how they deocrate the desert every morning and provide water for the critters taht live out there. It's as iff the Goddess of Dew knew that the kangaroo rat needed her to live, and so she pours out the water each morning. Such kindness has drawn Aurora to the goddess, and she is quite faithful, even though her parents' gods differ greatly.

personality:
Smooth and sarcastic, Gustave was, at one time, notorious for flirting with girls in the eerie fog. He is a smart creature, though, and craved a female as smart as he, and so never did much with the girls he met. They were more of a fling than anything else, and the male hardley cared that he was part of such behaviors. Despite his lack of commitment, however, he is extremely honest, and rarely lies about anything. It is in his upbringing to be curtious and display good manners at all times, though he has manipulated this into another way to impress the ladies. He is also very loyal, even though he does not particularly like the idea of commitment, and will stay to his words and loved ones as the crab stays to his shell.
history:
Gustave is, for the most part, a native to the lands of the Temple. He was born there soon after his parents arrived from an area far to the north, east or west he does not know. It was very near France, a bustling place that speaks in different tongues. He does know a bit of the language, but is not entirely fluent in it. When he was a juvenile, his parents left to move back to this region, and took along with them his baby sister. He opted to stay in the only home he knew, but does visit his family on occasion.

A little less masculine than his father could have hoped, Terbu subscribes to the pacifist side of life. He would much rather collect herbs for his salads and teas than wrestle with the other little boys. Like his sister, he is a strict vegetarian, and does not even make an acception to this rule for his father's favorite meal: fish. His favorite dinner plate would consist of fruits and vegetables from around the oasis, as well as a few harder to find herbs for seasoning, coupled with a warm bowl of herbal tea. Some might say he is a 'hippie', and he wouldn't argue, but would merely say that he is more in touch with his soul than you are. By nature, he is a gentle being, and tries his best to get along with everyone, including those who seemingly do not like him.
