Hobbies: Beauty - Miracle Grow does not grow hair, Aeleas has
learned this. Most of Earth’s beauty products are much more useful, and Aeleas loves the possibilities that makeup and beauty can bring to a person. She feels strange in her human skin sometimes, but having the ability to play with her appearance and change how she wants to be perceived is an amazing experience. She is learning so much about expressing herself and her creativity, and she enjoys watching tutorials and trying new things.
Baking - Aeleas lives above a bakery, where everyone in the house works in some way or another. The food isn’t always healthy, but it always smells heavenly, and it makes people
happy. It makes
her happy. It’s a chemistry in itself, and a science they weren’t taught on Velencya. She finds peace in following recipes as well as trying new things, and she has the expertise of a skilled baker to guide and encourage her. She’s still learning, but she wants to be able to help out, too.
Cleaning - Aeleas wants to contribute to this new world. Used to the close-knit community of the Vanguard, she seeks to be a part of the whole while still carving out a new place on Earth. She has a lot to learn about Earth but cleaning is something she can do for herself and for the family that has taken her in. Having an organized space makes her feel like she is productive and will be able to think clearer. She is eager and enthusiastic to be valuable to her new family, and in cleaning she has learned about the things on Earth and now they work.
Virtues: Curious - Earth is full of things Aeleas has never known, and she has the information at her fingertips. She wants to learn about everything and spends a lot of time asking questions and learning. It’s not always a conventional topic, but once something catches her eye she will seek out all the information she can get. She wants to learn, and she likes to share all the neat things she’s discovered.
Friendly - Aeleas has found that she enjoys expressing herself, and that extends to meeting new people to share herself with. She approaches everyone as if they are a new friend, and she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She wants to make this a new home, and the best way to do that is by putting her whole heart into it. She is polite and courteous and never wants to make anyone feel bad.
Honest - Aeleas has been lied to before, and the betrayal of secrecy from the upper levels of the Vanguard has shaken her to her core. She doesn’t want to tell a lie, and can be trusted to always tell the truth. She doesn’t want to hurt anyone or make them feel like how she felt. She is open with nearly everything and does her best to be truthful to anyone, no matter their motivations.
Flaws: Naïve - She has a good heart and often gives people the benefit of the doubt. She doesn’t understand why people would lie or be deceptive, and she doesn’t really understand sarcasm either. She can take things incredibly literally and misunderstand what might otherwise seem like basic conversation, and her gullible nature means she is a prime target to be taken advantage of.
Lazy - Aeleas has worked hard. She put her heart into serving the Vanguard, and look where that got her. She’s tired and confused and easily distracted, so it can be difficult to get her to be motivated enough to do
work. She will agree to help but sometimes her motivation just disappears, so sometimes she bites off more than she can chew and just needs time to work through it. If she can get out of doing something, she will. She is sometimes a bit unreliable, even if she means well.
Judgmental - She grew up on Velencya. She
knows Velencya. Of course she’s going to judge everything on Earth based on what she knows. She’s used to looking at things from a critical eye, and that stays true even now. She tends to be a bit
blunt when things aren’t up to her expectations, but that’s the downside of being honest. She tends to be a little over critical and can come across as a bit negative.
