Welcome
For those of you that have been following the events of Anthemusa (here or here) I would like to welcome you to phase three: the real conclusion!
In the time that Renegade Media has been in existence, it's grown into a media company that's grown to be a force to be reckoned with. Expanding it's reach from promotion and marketing, it's begun to get into some research and development and stretch it's metaphorical fingers far and wide.
Unfortunately, it's hit a little blip in the road where the company's undergone a restructure and re-branding of it's own due to some (scandalous) inter-company drama, the company closed it's doors to the public while it worked on things eternally.
But now...
...
......
Guess who's back (back, back, back again, again, again).
Now titled Argent Industries and run primarily by Jade Argent (with Chase Black and Levi Drummond working in the background) the company is ready to open their doors to new clients, new hires, and, if you hit all of these check boxes on a separate list...well you just might be in for a recruitment.
To kick it all off, and to celebrate their re-opening, Argent Industries would like to welcome Destiny City to it's first convention!

The Convention
Advertising has been all over the place.
You see billboards on every other street, radio advertisements have been playing almost on a loop on nearly every radio station you turn to, and if you've got social media, then you've probably had an ad of some sort thrown your way.
And if you're a YouTube frequenter, then you're probably hit with a view of the company's new head and the literal 'face' of Argent Industries promoting their upcoming convention.
There's even a call for local vendors to set up shop in their food and 'artist' alley along with people who think they might want to sign up to be a panelist.
Rumor has it that Argent Industries is going to host a beta testing of a new MOBA game being launched by this hot up-and-coming gaming company they're heavily considering investing in. If things go well...people have heard talks of a gaming tournament.
If there's ever a time to get a chance to meet and talk to some of your favorite local, and not so local, YouTubers, internet names, or you're itching to attend a panel for some media-savy talks (we know you're interested to hear what some of the game developers have to offer), then this is the place for you! Or maybe you're hoping to be that next big 'talent' that the company takes under their wing, there's opportunities for you to get your name (and face) out there!
There's also a chance that someone might take an interest in you and offer a job (with benefits!).
For $20 a ticket, or maybe you're one of the lucky ones who wins a free one, there's a lot the convention has to offer so it can't hurt to pop in!

The Rules
NO POWERED CHARACTERS ARE ALLOWED during this event. If you cannot abide by this rule we will politely request that you exit the event and you will be disqualified from any participation rewards. By signing up your character or business for a table, you accept that anyone participating in the event has possibly seen or interacted the character/business even if it's in passing. If you want to keep the business or character's life (within reason) private, please do not volunteer them to run a booth or a panel. (For example, Jade will be running a panel on being a YouTube star, by doing so I accept the risks that anyone attending could recognize her or have attended her panel and anything she shared for the event is now considered 'public' knowledge by attendees.) While the company is a behind-the-scenes Negaverse operation this is not public knowledge (and will never be) and by participating you are agreeing to respect that. By signing up as a panelist/vender booth/convention volunteer you are accepting the risks of being placed or paired near characters/players you might not get along with, if there are serious concerns please contact me privately, otherwise you are expected to be civil and courteous. OOC does not equal IC, please respect that.

The List
Volunteers:
Quote: Unpaid intern HelpName(s): Julianne Payne Type of Work: First Aid booth/tent/section/room Extra: IDK if there's a point to needing one but she's there if you'd like that sort of help. I figure folks get overheated and dehydrated or there could be a slip up in a costume/outfit resulting in a minor injury, who knowsss <3 Unpaid intern HelpName(s): Elissa Lombard Type of Work: Badge checking, general helping people get from place to place? Extra: I think you could put her just about anywhere and she'd be good to go (maybe not security though).
Unpaid intern Help Name(s): Omorose Khan // Amazone (Still waiting on her revision so if its not approved then we can drop her!) Type of Work: Table organizer? Checking in on vendors? She just wants to help and learn all the things and I feel like Penelope would send her to do some things? Extra: UH WHATEVER YOU NEED TBH? [/size
Panelists:
Quote: Panels, Panels, PanelistsName(s): Ezra Cadwell Type of Panel: Music in general, FL Studio in particular. Summary of your Panel:
Ezra's got his computer, a keyboard (synthesizer) for input, and a projector for putting things on the big screen. He'll be showing off the ins and outs of the program, along with his general composition/DAW workflow. He'll then open the floor up to questions on the program and on how he makes his little songs/music creation process, and so on.
Extra: Bloopers may arise when it turns out that Ezra hasn't been using the program extensively enough to know everything about it. Or actively composing for that long. Come on, why are you presenting on a hobby you just got back into...
Panels, Panels, Panelists Name(s): Ayesha Kamjik/Sailor Pavo Type of Panel: Belly dancing and its costuming/fashion Summary of your Panel: The panel is generally open to anyone who wants to inquire about where to go for belly dancing lessons, what videos to watch, what types of belly dancing is out there, and information on what kind of outfits are available, what their symbolism means, and how some of them are made. It's set up to be largely informational with brochures and infographics so people don't necessarily have to interact with Ms. Kamjik and she can leave the booth in a volunteer's hands from time to time for breaks. Different costumes are hung about while the pamphlets largely speak for themselves. There are also coupons to get a discount on belly dancing lessons, and she partnered with a (presently unnamed) Etsy shop for costume discounts.
She would do a live demonstration once or twice as scheduled into the convention. She will demonstrate one type of belly dancing and invite others up to participate / get some hands-on learning for how it works. Her YT handle is given out requently. Extra: This is OOCly dependent on Pavo's revision being accepted, and it being accepted prior to the event being run! I have her journal completed in another guild, so I will be able to link that once the revision is accepted.
Vendors:
Quote: Hot and ready, get your--Name of the Business: Just Designs Character Name(s): Justine Lawrence Merchandise: Caricatures, character drawings, graphic design sketches (final product for graphic design won't be given till after the event) Extra: She saw an opportunity to be artsy and dove for it.
