Food: Seasoned Quail Hated Food: Pork Grimes School: St. Mags Hobbies:Self-Defense – Kakure enjoys practicing Self-Defense on a daily basis – it keeps her fit and healthy, and purges her of difficult emotions. Difficult emotions that would make her life unhealthy. Emotions like Anger, Rage, Abandonment. Self-Defense also protects her, as she's had to use it one or twice on guys who won't take no, or think no means yes. It also helps to socializes more; with girls and guys who are in the class. Reading – Kakure makes frequent trips to the library, where it's quiet enough to do some thinking and reading. She loves to read, mainly historical fiction of ancient cultures. Her favorite is Ancient Egypt, but there's no chance she'd turn down Victorian England, or Incan Empire or Aboriginal Austrailan, as long as there is a good story involved. She can spend long hours holed up with a good book, and has often ended up forgetting to do her homework, or nearly getting trapped the library after hours, because she had her nose in a book. Virtues: Courage – Kakure Mae has many fears, and a lot of self-doubt due to being abandoned at the age of two, in the park. But everyday, she finds the courage to rise up and overcome those fears- by simply getting up in the morning and facing each new day. She finds and supports friends who also have self-doubts. Her courage helps her to simply push through the unknown each and everyday, not knowing who among her closest friends and foster family will betray and/or abandon her next. Yet, she has the courage to learn to trust once more. Integrity – Kakure has a lot of integrity. She will not lie, cheat or steal. She will not stand by and let others lie, cheat or steal, not that she's a tattletale (she will only report if she believes there is danger to life, body, property, and/or serious injury to emotion). However, she will try her hardest to convince others not to lie, cheat or steal. This is not because some adult says it is bad; it is partially because of the guilt felt, and damage done after doing so; however, the main reason is that one small offense can have life-long consequences. Flaws:Blunt – Kakure isn't the easiest person to have around. She doesn't have a lot of politeness. Not that she's into insulting one right and left, but she says whats on her mind, and she tells you it straight without any cushioning. If you need a reality check, she's the one to go to. If you need someone to say “it's okay” and mushy stuff like that, she's not the one you are looking for. She'll tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help her, god. Easily Distracted – Kakure has a short attention span (except when it comes to books). She'll been given a task and five minutes in, something will catch her eye. Her response is, “OO!” And she runs over to it. Especially, if it is a book. And if it is a book, she'll be distracted from the time for hours, until she finishes the book – kind of how she nearly got locked in the library overnight. In school, her concentration is awful – most of the time, she is staring out the window daydreaming, or looking at the “pretty birdie”. The World of Giclas Allies:Abramov Imports:Dats Exports:Giclasian Ostriches The Giclas Position: Sailor Giclas presided over many high profile ceremonies, such as weddings, birth rituals, coming-of age rituals, etc. from all over the galaxy. Her representatives and militia, the Lady Guard, often presided over lower profile events. It was tradition for Giclas to marry the Emperor and become Empress alongside him. Though, if he died, she would not remain Empress, but would stay in High Power none the less. Notable Locations:Emperor's Palace and Home of Sailor Giclas: This is both the home of the Emperor and the Emperess, Sailor Giclas and the Seat of Government for the World of Giclas. Great Giclas Cathedral: A Galactically Renowned Cathedral where Sailor Giclas Presided over many High Profile Ceremonies for beings from all over the Galaxy. Lesser Cathedrals dotted the World of Giclas, and were Presided over by the Lady Guard. People:The people of Giclas were often shorter than the rest of the galaxy, about 5'0-5'6 in height. They look as if they could be from Japan. The Emperor:The Emperor led the people of Giclas and was a jolly man full of life. Sailor Giclas: Sailor Giclas was first and full most (besides protecting the planet), Chief Presider over Ceremonies. She was Empress, and Chief Advisor to the Emperor, as well as Commander of the Lady Guard. Samurai: Honorable Male warriors, that were the military of the planet, fought for the Emperor. Lady Guard: Honorable female warriors, that represented Sailor Giclas in Lower Proflle Ceremonies, and followed her in battle. The Lady Guard often wore colorful masks to hide their identities. Helping the Empress was all well and good, especially when it brought Honor to one's world and were excellent fighters, but it was an entirely different thing when it was one's own wife. "I think that it is awesome that women like you Honor our World, in ways we Men can not, and still fight amazingly."Samurai to a Lady Guard who had just defeated his fellow Samurai buddy. "Women are supposed to be gentle and domestic, running the household, raising children and pursuing needlework. Not defiling the Honorable World, by fighting like a Man."Same Samurai upon finding out same Lady Guard was his own wife, after she pulled of her mask. Society/Culture:Grammar:The people of Giclas were Giclasians. Something of the Giclas's culture was Giclasian. Male terms are always capitalized. Clothing Kimonos and such. Architecture: Very Similar to Medieval Japanese Architecture. Transportation:Arctic Horse Mounts: For most travel, also were used for cargo pulling. Carts, Chariots, etc: Mostly pulled by Arctic Horses Giclasian Ostrich Mounts: Used when in need of Speed Animals:Arctic Horse: A horse breed for the mostly cold climate of the World of Giclas. They had thick shaggy coats, and thick, strong hooves. Also they ate quite alot. Giclasian Ostrich: A slimmer version of the Earth Ostrich, but more powerful, agile and speedier. Often used as a mount. Land and Weather: Many islands on a great ocean. Also, it is nearly always wintery if not Arctic Temperatures.

Giclas' Past Life Canon Connections POSITIVE relationship: Princess Jupiter - 5 - Fresh Connection Backstory: Princess Jupiter was recently speaking at a convention called “Rugged Worlds: Female Warriors”. She had just heard that Sailor Giclas, a new Senshi of this generation fell into that category, and very kindly sent Giclas an invite. Which Giclas happily received, and attended the convention. During the convention, they were only briefly able to meet and speak, but it was definitely positive and Giclas hopes to do it again soon. NEGATIVE relationship: Princess Venus - 2 - Difference of Thought Backstory: Giclas resents Venus for being a sentimental airhead - or so everyone thinks. Secretly, she admires her, and wishes she could dream about love. But the laws of her world say she must marry the Emperor of her generation and become Empress. So it has always been and so it always will be. But her betrothed is only interested in himself, and the man she loves is bound by the laws of his world to stay celibate for life! Why can't she be more like Princess Venus? Of course she resents her. POLITICAL relationship: Princess Mercury - 1 - Physical AllianceBackstory: Giclas came from a very low caste, but when it was discovered that she was Senshi, the Emperor thought it was only right to raise her family's caste as well. As well as negotiate betrothals for her brother and sister; the Emperor used these marriages for benefit of the planet. Case in point, her brother was married to the second cousin of Princess Mercury to secure an alliance with Mercury. Food: Shrimp Sushi Hated Food: Omuraisu Position: Chief Presider of Ceremonies, Empress, Chief Advisor to the Emperor, Commander of the Lady Guard Hobbies: Naginata Fighting - As the Senshi, Giclas doesn't use weapons, but as Commander of the Lady Guard, she does, and she is the best for she trains the rest of the Guard. She enjoys it for the sweet release and for the empowerment feeling she feels from it.
Embroidering - Embroidery is a complicated puzzle that once figured out makes a beautiful picture. Thus Giclas enjoys it, and also enjoys the empowerment she gets from excelling at a skill that the dominant male gender can't or wouldn't even try to improve on.
