Strays (1): Destiny City News reports several sightings of ‘feral dogs' appearing throughout the city. Those interviewed claim that the dogs would surround them and chase them down the streets, seemingly popping in and out of sight until the person finally found themselves in a well lit area. You have the misfortune of running into these same dogs.
They cling to the shadows as you go about your way at night. Seemingly at the corner of your vision, one flickers by, and you turn and see nothing. Again and again, it happens. They are trying to drive you into the darkest corners of the city, herding you away from the light. In the nearby distance are the lights of the city: streetlights, signs, traffic. You have to do something to get there, to escape these creatures. When you make it to any significant light source, you hear a low growl, a wailing hiss; the dogs have vanished.
For now.

Giclas, for once was doing a patrol on her own. Her twin was off on another Botanical Shoot, and she totally understood - it was his life's passion. In the meantime, however, she had to make do without him. According to her Attack she was a healer, and her hand-to-hand fighting was mediocre at best. She hoped that would be good enough.

She thought about the woman that she met this morning that claimed to be their long-lost cousin that they had never heard of. Though the woman was not going to try to take them away or anything, DD had been exceedingly wary of the woman who provided all kinds of documents including foreign ones but told them the family was across international lines and were blocked from even information about them. She went on to tell them that they had been searching for years them. And finally, she had apologized for not being able to come sooner.

However, the woman added, that the fact that it had taken so long may have meant that Giclas and her brother may have a life, a family, and a home here. and they did not wish to take them out of that. In which case, they just wanted them to know that Giclas and her brother did have a family out there, should they ever need them...

A snarl snapped Giclas out of her thoughts. What was that? She looked around; the streetlights had gone out around her, and there was only dim lighting. Giclas frowned, this could not be good. The next minute, she was surrounded by what could only be called 'shadow dogs'. They whined and snarled at her.


She let out a cry and tried to move, but every time that she did, one would lunge at her and snap...."Oh my.." What to do, what to? Her power was healing, but that wouldn't help here. Should she call Abramov her twin, no he was too far away. She started looking for something to fight with, but nothing was within reach. There were simply to many to fight with her bare hands and mediocre fighting skills.

So, she called for help, the old-fashioned way: "Help!"

Giclas was suddenly being dragged by the neck down the road. She guessed that at least she was away from those shadow creatures. However, was this new person friend or foe? She couldn't see them very well due to the dim light, though what she could see was...interesting - and Giclas actually liked it... Could she be a Senshi? Giclas was still a new Senshi and didn't knew many others, but this one struck her as different - as did the woman's Aura - She was definitely Order - but her Aura seemed different than a Senshi's - no time for that now.

Giclas managed to make out a shadow dog coming on their rear left, "Shadow dog on rear left!"

Giclas saw the City Square coming up it was full of light, and she was guessing by now, from how the dog creatures seemed to avoid and even put out light as they chased Giclas and the other, they might have a weakness to. "There! The City Square, up ahead- it's full of light - they don't seem to like the light - let's see how they react to a bunch of it!" she called to her rescuer.

Giclas, nodded. "No harm done. Besides you saved me." She cocked an eyebrow. Page? of the Cosmos?. Giclas had a million questions, but that would have to wait.

"I greet thee, I am Sailor Giclas of Jasmine. I apologize about not fighting back there (and thank you), but I am but mediocre when it comes to hand-to-hand fighting. As for my attack - I have healing powers, not fighting powers. Speaking of which, do you need any minor wounds or injuries healed?"

Giclas nodded. "I started training not too long ago with my twin brother (he too is a Senshi), sadly the results have yet to show. Worst, my brother, who does have somewhat more of a fighting attack and ability, and whom I usually patrol with, is off pursuing a hobby tonight. So, I thought I'd made make the patrol myself - I see now that was a mistake. Thank you for saving me. In, the future, I will find a friend to travel with, until I can protect myself."

She turned to go, then she smiled and said, "Oia, you remind me of my training mentor. As a Basic Senshi, her only attack was to confuse enemies for a very short time with an awful smell. So, she started training. Now she trains a few others as an Eternal and could make a name for herself as the 'Egyptian Ninja'. She's my role model, and you remind me of her. See ya."

"Agreed. Did you say Sekhmet? I've heard of him, he's a friend of a friend. Yeah, he seems to be a great guy from what I've hear." She checked the time.
"I'd love to see you again Oia, but I got to run, I've got a Curfew. Funny - many of us that it is up to save the world have to be home by 10." She smirked and then was on her way, waving goodbye.
