Martial Arts Training: Jayce has been training in some form of martial arts since he was a teen. It started out with MMA and UCF grappling and jujitsu, but has expanded over time to include kickboxing, akido weapons training, and street fighting. Just don't ask him where he did all this training; he doesn't really remember, or at least none of the places stuck in his head long enough for him to remember. He can point it out if you show him though.
Video Games: While he plays less video games these days with his work schedule, he does still make time on weekends to play. He's moved from Diablo more into shooters - Helldivers is his current kick and attentions - but he has a regular fire team in Destiny 2 that he always sets aside time for that runs raids on Saturdays
Virtues:
Unshakeable: When Jayce makes up his mind about something, there's not much that can change it. You won't find him balking at a leap of faith or a problem, and you won't find him backing down from his values either. He will stick his flag in the ground and tell you to move before he will give an inch. This makes him a very reliable person, and he'll keep his word. Provided he can remember it.
Jovial: Jayce has a sort of happy go lucky mentality about life, sort of like a golden retriever who's just happy to be alive. He will more often than not have a smile on his face, because, as he puts it, 'smiles are easy, frowns are hard'. He keeps a pleasant attitude about him, even when the going gets tough, and will absolutely be the one in the group to keep everyone calm - or at least optimistic - about situations. He's toned down just how jovial he is over the years though so that he doesn't end up being off putting.
Flaws:
Tunnel Vision: Jayce has a tendency to put on blinders and focus solely on the task in front of him. Or enemy. Or person. When he sets his sights on something, everything else simply doesn't exist to him. He will completely miss the point of an exercise by focusing on the wrong part of the instructions, or he'll keep fighting even when he really should stop. It's not until someone breaks that intense level of concentration that he realizes that he's off in no mans land. When you mix in how swiss cheese his memory seems to be these days? Its a recipe for chaos.
Memory Holed: Jayce knows, he knows that there should be... more to his memories, but he couldn't tell you what or why. He wouldn't call himself forgetful - that would imply that he had a working brain - but he often finds things just... lost from his brain. You'll tell him something, and when you bring it up two weeks later, he has no idea that you told him. This becomes more apparent in interpersonal relationships, especially if someone has told him to stop doing a certain behavior. He's sure that you told him, but he has no memory of it. As a result, Jayce tends to log almost everything in his phone.

MMA Training: While he's only been doing it since he was sixteen, Thanos fines incredibly joy in training to be a UFC fighter in his later years. He's mixed some karate and judo into his arsenal, but his MMA fighting is the strongest of the techniques he has. He has a wave master set up in his apartment that he regularly practices against.
Kittens: He has a soft spot for cute fuzzy little kittens with their tiny kitten feets and their squeaky meows and their triangle tail. If Thanos sees kittens (or even cats, really) he'll stop whatever he's doing and scrunch down to their level to pet their heads lightly with a finger. He finds them incredibly adorable and has on more than one occasion rescued a kitten from the bushes and adopted it, regardless of whether he has space or permit to do so. He has since ( after four kittens rescued ) tried to temper his love of kittens with filling his blog with adorable kitten Vines and gifs. It only slightly seems to help.
Video Games: When not training or gushing over tiny furry felines, Thanos plays video games. He plays a lot of dungeon crawlers were he plays 'glass cannons:' mages built for maximum damage output and judicious use of the dodge key. He takes great pleasure in building his characters just so and is incredibly giddy when his plans work out the way he wants them too. He plays some shooters as well, but games like Diablo are his bread and butter. If he can play a mage, he will without a doubt.
Virtues:
Unshakeable: Thanos isn't the type of person to let sour situations get him down. Things turn sour at work? He shrugs and works around it. A girl breaks up with him? He'll say he understands, and look calm about the whole thing. Does he lose an MMA match? He turns it into a learning experience. He tries his best to look at situations rationally and not be bogged down by emotional responses. It doesn't always work, but in his experience, it's better to logic your way through a situation, then to have a response to it later.
Resourceful: Thanos has a knack for finding clever and quick ways to overcome problems. Whether its a simple as substituting one product for another, to as complex as jerry-rigging a device to help remove cardboard bails from the bailer, he can figure it out. Give him a few minutes, some objects to work with, and he's golden. This has saved his skin several times. Depending on the solution, he'll show it to coworkers or friends so they don't have to deal with the problem either.
Flaws:
Overly Optimistic: Thanos believes the best in the world. Everyone is innocent until proven otherwise, and it takes a lot of change that in his mind. This leaves him vulnerable to be taken advantage of, however. Many times he has been ripped off, stranded, never paid back, or cheated on simply because he has a hard time seeing the bad in people. Even if you show your true colors, he's liable to give you the benefit of the doubt for far longer than he should have.
Aimless: Put simply, Thanos has no direction in his life. He's going to school, but maybe he'll be an MMA fighter, or maybe do construction work. He has very little he wants to do in his life except for play video games, foster kittens, and train. He will move towards goals in his hobbies and interests, usually with a good amount of gusto to get good at them, but overall he's content where he's at. This ends up not jiving with people who see potential in him; "if only you had drive" they say, and Thanos just shrugs. It's not that he doesn't have a purpose, per say, he just doesn't see the need to "do something" with his life. Plenty of people do things with their lives, so he doesn't have to.

Simple wooden dowel, with a Mars symbol on the top, about two feet long. Susceptible to fire.
Squire: Centurion's Spear
A light metal spear about 3ft long, with the Mars symbol in place of a spear point, with a tuft of cloth hanging from the connection point.
Knight: Legionnaire's Spear
A longer ornate spear/staff. It's entwined in wire and metal, a weave of Mars symbols from the Mars Symbol at the end to the bottom, with a space for his hand about halfway down. Cloth hangs from the Mars Symbol.
Magic:
Page: Nada.
Squire: When he channels his magic, he points the spear at his enemy, holding his left arm up like he has a shield. A shield materializes as though its made of fire and gives off an intense feeling of intimidation to those of Chaos in front of him up to 10 feet away in a straight line. The shield seems to shimmer with heat but is not actually hot. This magic lasts up to thirty seconds.
Knight: When he channels his magic, he points the spear at his enemy, holding his left arm up like he has a shield. A shield materializes as though its made of fire and gives off the same feelings of intimidation as before to those of Chaos, but now also gives off heat up to 15 feet from him in a straight line. The heat is like that of a hot summer day and potentially will burn those caught in the range for too long. This is up to player discretion on whether they take damage from the heat. This magic lasts up to 45 seconds.
