He had the gaol to grin at her. After he went AWOL for who knows how long. It made her blood boil but she shoved it down for now. There was a fight to be hand, and given how the Cosmos Knight and Ashanite were squaring up, it was coming soon.
Then a damn child dropped a bright ******** seal of all things in the middle, and the Cosmos Knight began to glow.
Leifite barely got her scarf up to her eyes in time, squeezing them shut even as what exposed skin she still had started to burn like a sunburn. She growled into her communicator.
"This is Lt. Leifite! Cosmos Squire has a Knight and child senshi backing her up! We are on the west side of the fountain!" she shouted, wanting at least someone to know what was going on with all the flashing lights.
She was going to kill every single Cosmos Knight from now on. Yup.

Sailor Deneb - F5
Deneb generally preferred not to get her hands dirty unless necessary, which probably was a major reason she had never received any upgrades or promotions or whatnot. Of course, Deneb at the same time knew better than to ignore a SOS call, provided she wasn’t in the middle of raid night in a certain critically acclaimed MMO, that was. And so here she was, fashionably late or something, just in time to possibly watch a catfight go down between a General and a Dark Mirror Senshi, presumably having something to do with the Order senshi they seemed to be attacking.
Or, at least, that was her general interpretation of things. She could have been wrong, but whatever. As much as she only looked out for herself for the most part, there was an opportunity to earn brownie points with any potential cat that could give her the upgrade she so feverently desired, and so Deneb decided to intervene, even if she probably was better off just minding her own business.
“Bubble Blast!”
Quote:
Bubble Blast Deneb sends a volley of magical bubbles blowing out toward a target, which burst upon contact; they do not pop on their own. The bubbles leave temporary marks, mostly some minor bruising, that fade when the magic ends, unless the player wishes for them to linger afterwards. The magic lasts for twenty seconds, and can be used up to three times.

here to provide backup no need to thank her (but actually please do)
Mizuki did not... fight. To be honest, she'd been in exactly one when she awoke and that was very much enough for her. She only patrolled because monsters she could handle. Youma hurt, but they weren't really... alive, you know? They were just sort of creatures of Chaos that broke apart when she hit them too hard.
As much as she wanted to run away, she couldn't really... ignore the call for help though. Oh she wanted to do, she really, really did. But what if someone was really hurt and she could help get them to safety, or help mediate the argument so it didn't come to blows? Maybe there was something she could do that wasn't fighting!
What she found when she got there was the exact opposite of what she could handle. In fact, she was very quick to hide behind a tree and cower.
The only problem?
There very much was an agent of Chaos leaning against the tree she was hiding behind. "Eeeek!!! Li-lilac Petal Dance!" she screeched in a panic, throwing both hands forward as the lilac petals materialized and flew towards them.
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Lilac Petal Dance
When Mizuki calls her magic, purple lilac petals fly towards her opponent. They dance around her opponent and bring a sense of longing towards a first love, innocence lost, or something else the person has lost. This disorients an enemy for 15 seconds, has a range of 15ft and can be used 3 times a battle.
If the enemy has nothing to lose or has not lost anything, this magic is ineffective

Lacerta (DMS Super of Bandages) - F2 - moving towards B5 (( will be in B5 at the end of this post ))
The tree, while an excellent vantage point, left a lot to be desired. Especially due to the fact that she seemed to be on the wrong side of the park. She could sense her kind further away and it was with the thought of joining them did she glance below her to the ground. Noting that no one seemed to be in the direct path of her supposed landing site Lacerta's grip on the tree branch that she had broken off earlier tightened and she dropped from where she had been perched.
Any impact from a height will jar ones senses just a little and Lacerta winced as her feet protested the landing. Rubbing her calves the redhead took stock of the situation and the auras that were springing up all over the place. This was simple enough. Keep to the shadows and just avoid everyone else. Simple right? Teal orbs scanned the copse of trees before she made a move to skirt the battle. It wasn't her fight anymore. Neither side held her allegiance and she wanted to make sure it stayed that way. Trusting her instincts to guide her away and around the melee in the center of the park the senshi of bandages caught sight of what seemed to be a familiar aura - Acubens was here?
Another strong aura pulsed in her mind and she watched with horror as the group she was trying to join up with scattered apart. Tentacles surged from the ground and Lacerta backpedalled to stay out of range. What had caused this attack? Weren't tentacles someone else's signature move? Her gaze swept the area and landed on a white moon senshi that was vaguely familiar and Lacerta angled her movement to try and intercept. One of those that she used to have been able to call a friend was now causing the bandage senshi to see red. It wasn't the smoothest move and it seemed as if others were fighting free of the tentacles to loose their own attacks but Lacerta couldn't use her magic here. It'd not do much of anything good.
She would have to resort to using her fists to illustrate her extreme displeasure. It'd be risky but it had to be done.
Without much warning Lacerta rushed towards the white moon eternal senshi and brought her fists up. Her right fist was directed at the senshi's midsection while she attempted to use her left fist to connect with the other's jaw. The hope was that if one of her strikes were blocked that the other would connect. But nothing was at all certain in this battle already. Throw in that she wasn't used to fighting and the odds of success would most likely vary.
Time had not been kind to Sailor Polyhymnia -- she knew enough to know that there were things happening, things that weren’t just the typical human experience, but she hadn’t been able to do much in regards to it.
For a time, even, she was half convinced she had dreamt it all up.
But now she was certain that things had not been...as fantastical as it had seemed, with her limited knowledge, limited contact, but tonight, tonight someone was in trouble -- and she was going to help.
Thus there she was, in the dark and wet as rain fell, making her hair look like a limp mess even as it was pulled back behind her, trying not to slip and slide through the mud as she avoided the sidewalk. (Because of course, while the sidewalk would be safer for her balance, it would likely have people on it, and she wanted to be sure not to draw unnecessary attention to herself.) Instead, her heels slipped and slid through the slick grass, the mud, eyes squinting as she quickly caught herself on a tree, trying to make out what was going on, who was where.
She was hardly a threat on her own, after all. Maybe not even with others, but she definitely was more useful in a group...right?
Already he was summoning his weapon, moving forward nd engaging some senshi in a soon-to be fight. "Pren-" she started to call his name but was suddenly caught in a swarm of golden petals obscuring her view of the Captain.
Hatsya staggered backwards several steps, arms raised to protect her face. It took a long moment to realize that the distracting magic cased no harm to her. "Prehnite!" she called out, worry etching her voice that he was moving too far ahead.
A glance to the side and the Senshi of Swordplay noticed a young girl in a soft yellow kimono, the source of the petal flurry. Lips pulled pursed into a thin line, she looked entirely conflicted about how to deal with the chibi senshi and ultimately decided there was no way around it.
"Sword of Dispelling" She spoke the name of her attack and in front of her appeared a ethereal sword; grasping ahold of it she offered a quick salute and lunged at the young girl.
Sailor Scout Attack: Sword of Dispelling Attack Type: Debuff/ Silence
Sailor Hatsya calls out her attack which summons a delicate epee handle in front of her. Grasping a hold of the hilt a 2'11" ethereal blade forms (standard saber length) She brings the weapon up (tip upwards in front of her face) then brings the blade tip downward in a sweeping motion saluting her opponent. Once she salutes her opponent she has the next 30 seconds to hit them after which the sword disappears effectively silencing her opponents magic abilities for the next 30 seconds. This attack is usable 3 times per battle (see super attack "Effect 2").
Effect: The opponent that was hit can not use any magic for the next 30 seconds. Nega's cannot summon or dispel their weapons or teleport, corrupt cannot use their magic or teleport, DMS cannot use their magic or mirror walk away, knights and WMS cannot use their magic.
Sword duration: 30 seconds or upon contact with an opponent. No magic duration: 30 seconds starting from when the opponent was 'pierced' or 'nicked' Note: Epee is the only style of fencing where the entire body is a valid target area.
Sword Info: It is ethereal magic. The blade cannot block/ parry an attack (Objects pass through it) which means it can cause no damage when 'striking' or 'stabbing' someone. If anything it is more of an intimidation factor, mind over matter react as you will to being 'stabbed'. She cannot let it go or it disappears (no she cannot throw it at your face despite wanting to).

Sparta Page of Mars - F5
Ezra was probably going to murder him for this. In fact, he was pretty sure Ezra would murder him, resurrect him, then murder him again for this particular decision. But someone had called for help and he couldn't just... abandon them! So what if he only had a bokken and absolutely nothing else? He had to do something!
Still, there were perhaps... better decisions on who to fight he could have picked. "Need some help?" he said, charging into the area where several people seemed to be engaging a General and a... Dark Mirror Senshi (that was what the ones with the flowy bits were called, right??) trying to go after another senshi. One senshi sent off a stream of bubbles, and tried to engage the Dark Mirror (maybe, it was hard to tell) so Sparta did the only logical thing he could think of.
He engaged the General of the Negaverse.
"Nice knives you got there," he said, assuming a defensive stance with his bokken. Ezra was so going to murder him... if she didn't first.

Super Hydor [Square ********> Yeah. That sounded about right.
The scene in front of him was bursting to life in a million ways he had no interest in, and he was inclined to stay back and simply take notes on what he could see. It seemed he had gotten himself in a corner with mostly auras that rang with that strange sense of familiarity that he had gotten used to. They were people he didn't know, but people he could in theory trust not to attack him.
Well.
Until he felt the flare of an aura that felt stronger than any he felt in a while, and he hissed lowly as he glowered at the general ahead of them.
"Bored?" He brandished the broken umbrella in her direction -- admittedly, a pathetic weapon, but it was the best he had on such random, short notice. "Hardly. Wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for your ******** fellow shitheads causing trouble."
He glanced behind him to the page as he heard another person approached. A friendly aura, thankfully, sounded about the same level as him. Looked familiar, actually -- was that the squire on the moon? Between them, they could handle themselves. The page, though?
"Sorry." He reached out and yanked her nearly flush to him, before shouting out, "Whirling Wrath!" protecting the immediate aura around her with a wall cloud.
Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Whirling Wrath! Hydor throws both arms into the air, and either lowers them towards himself, or lowers them towards an ally. Either himself or an ally finds themselves surrounded by a Wall Cloud. They are protected from the enemy as they are more difficult to see or reach. Any enemy approaching the target will find that they are buffetted by strong circular winds, making the target much harder to reach. In addition, the target can move around and swing out at others in an attempt to knock them back. Any movements from the target will be accompanied by strong gusts of wind. Uses: 2 uses per battle Duration: 30 seconds Range: Localized

Athalia - Senshi of Hercules Beetles (Square: F5)
By the time he had even had the slightest chance to recover he found himself in the company of yet more people. Things were changing at a much more rapid pace than he had anticipated and no sooner had he regained full feeling in his fingertips than another spell was sent hurtling towards him. Between the General, the first Dark Mirror senshi and now the second he was most assuredly outnumbered. Fortunately he wasn't one to back down quite so easily when he still had all his faculties and all of his magic and so he lifted his hand and gave a sharp snap of his fingers.
"Herculean Aegis!"
Sylvite might have grown in power, but he had learned one or two tricks since they last met. What barriers she (or even Nakhett) may have expected didn't rise up, and instead the shimmering carapace swepts across his body to shield him on all fronts. It wouldn't block all of what was to come, but as Tegmine's magic did strike it would at least lessen it to a degree.
Suffice it to say that he was pleasantly surprised when a stream of bubbles shot passed his shoulder towards his opponents. The magic coursing through his body and the lingering effects it let were less appealing. However Deneb's timely appearance might very well afford him at least a brief respite to regain some composure and finally return fire. After all, if he just stood still then he wouldn't get anything done.
The question was, who would be the most advantageous to attack?
Aha! But what a surprise he was in for as another unknown face joined the fray and appeared to be on his side. Bubbles to one side, and a bokken wielding Page to the other, and for once in what seemed like an age, Athalia was in the company of two allies that weren't necessarily afraid to take a stand. Now all he had to do was make sure that they stayed that way, regaining his composure was now paramount.
"Watch for the one in purple," he growled as he nodded towards Nakhett. Sylvite was the most dangerous in terms of power, but Nakhett was fast and Tegmine's magic was clearly designed to be as disruptive as possible. "She's particularly quick," he added.
"As for the others, I won't state the obvious for the General," he murmured and then nodded to Tegmine. "And this one's magic isn't feeling so great right now so best not to get hit."
Frustrating that the Dark Mirror's magic lingered for longer than he preferred but life wasn't fair sometimes. It only took him a few more seconds to straighten and then he sucked in a breath. Even at Eternal he'd find the speed on one irritating and unless he could outsmart her he'd be flailing after a fly. The other one however? Well, that one was fair game.
He'd take his opportunities where he could get them and with that in mind, he lunged forward toward Tegmine with his fist balled. He'd be mindful of his new allies and cast his magic towards them if needed, but right now, he needed to get the most unpleasant magic out of the way while he still had his to ensure that the others would be okay from Sylvite's weapons!

Knight WhislerG-5 Central park. Confronting a General. The message sent a chill through Whisler and he debated if this was a good idea. Obviously going to help was a good idea...but this felt so much like...before. Another dance, another chance to save someone, but was it another someone who didn’t want to be saved?
He made his way as quickly as possible and came upon absolute bedlam.
The sheer amount of auras he felt made him wish he could just turn that part of his powers off...god. It was insane...but. As his eyes tried to take it all in, he saw a black clad someone trying to attack a much shorter someone with what looked to be a sword...and Whisler simply reacted.
He didn’t have the time to think, well, to think past deciding not to use his magic at this point in time, and simply swung his weapon at the corrupt senshi, giving a yell of anger and frustration and hoped that would get her to back off as well.
“That is a child!”
He felt his blood boiling, and he might have put far more force than normal with his swing.

I'LL SAVE YOU SMALL ONE
Noir Songbird
I'M HERE DARLING. HAVING SOME MINOR WORRIES BUT I'M HERE
It was perhaps by a complete fluke that the battle raging on in Destiny City's Central park caught the attention of a latecomer. Gripping her cord of ornaments tightly Irkalla grimaced as she contemplated turning around and just going home to hide. She wasn't a fighter. She knew this and yet just thinking about what Tallulah would do in this situation had her straightening her shoulders. She had yet to even discover what her magic was capable of since becoming a squire. One good reason for this was that as soon as the shadows had spit everyone out of that realm - she had stashed her ornaments deep down into one of her drawers and just pretended to be normal.
It had been Kathryn's hope that if she ignored the object that she could forget about the war being waged in the city. Yet, there were always signs that caught her attention and she had to resist digging out the strand lest she powered up.
But tonight had been different. A feeling had tugged at the young woman until she gave in and took the strand of ornaments out of her drawer and snuck out. Once she deemed it was safe she had allowed the transformation to wash over her. Now she stood on the edge of the park, shuffling from one foot to the other before noting where the main battle seemed to be taking place. A few other auras similar to her own weren't actively engaged with a foe and it was to this group that she drifted towards. There was caution in her steps as she also sensed an aura of chaos in the same location. Where her comrades in arms in danger? Irkalla brought the cord of ornaments up in front of her before pushing through the last of the foliage that had separated her from the fray. Seeing others standing around - seemingly alright - did Irkalla catch sight of a woman with blue hair. Really familiar blue hair. This wasn't the time to be distracted. But was that the same person she'd once met before, the one who had jump-scared her into falling backwards and landing on her butt. She felt the name of of the owner of the blue hair flow past her lips, "Titanite?"
That was the polite thing to do. When you ran into someone, when you threw a butter knife into their face before you could think your actions through, you should apologize. Kindness and courtesy were deeply ingrained in him; he was nearly horrified by what he’d done.
But, he had to remind himself, this Squire (Imbrium) was their enemy. Roselite may not be able to attack with the same level of skill and bloodlust as someone like Bloodstone, but he would not allow himself to stoop so low as to apologize. He wouldn’t. Even when the words almost escaped, a hastily aborted, “I’M—”
The child (Arthuradel) was a good distraction.
Wait, the child?!
“Captain Bloodstone, no!”
Roselite would have jumped in to stop Bloodstone himself, but then the Squire used her shield and created some sort of barrier… of ice? Was that ice? It was definitely ice. What was she a Squire of? (In spite of his fear and panic, Roselite made sure to make a mental note of everything, from her weapon to her magic to her outfit, and the symbols that decorated it.)
At least it seemed as if the child might be saved.
Even if the child was also their enemy.
(Who went around awakening children anyway?)
“Captain, I… I can handle the child!” Roselite said. He did not yet re-summon his weapon; the butter knife remained wherever it landed on the ground. “But… um… the Squire…”
Roselite turned guilty eyes to the woman with the shield.
Bloodstone and the Squire were equal in rank anyway.
Anser watched as the scene that she could see in the trees devolved further, flashes of light in the distance that would have blinded her if she was closer, a burst of ... were those literally tentacles in one area beyond the fountain? She squinted, let out a gruff noise of dismay, and noted that she felt the press of Chaos auras that were a bit closer to her. Perhaps she should deal with those instead --
"Cyb!" shouted Anser in turn, suddenly distracted by hearing her voice and turning her attention toward where she stood now with two older pages. "That's the plan!"
Wait, did she see--
She snarled at the dark mirror senshi, narrowing her eyes at what she immediately interpreted as a threat. Her first instinct was to fight her, but one of the older pages -- Paradise, she supposed -- was calling out to her, and Anser begrudgingly decided that gathering into a group was probably a slightly better idea than just trying to take on this mirror by herself. She couldn't quite just let Chaos go, though, and before literally hopping off the branch and marching over to join her friend, she cracked off a branch, leaves and all, and hurled it at her.
"Anser," offered she, when she arrived in front of Empyrean and Paradise. "Also a friend of Cybele's. It's crawling with Chaos over here. Should stick together."
If Cybele had her memories, she might have been proud of Anser for not just going it entirely alone.
Titanite tucked her hands behind her back, leaning forward to smile cheerily at those she had teleported in front of. What fun, honestly.
And it got even more fun when one of those she had indicated could come play, Pendour, charged towards her and pulled out- a musical instrument? Titanite closed her eyes blissfully as the music filled the air, letting her other senses tell her where the enemies were. "I like to play, pretty Squire. It is much more fun to play at times like these than to fight, is it not?" Pleasant relaxation filled her veins and Titanite willingly chased the peace and the calm, humming and swaying.
The senshi (Hydor) was hissing at her, and she lazily opened her eyes to peer at them. "You seem so alarmed. You should listen to the music. Stress less. Relax." he brandished an umbrella at her, and the General's lips quirked in amusement. "You are so cute, little senshi. My fellow ******** s**t heads do like to cause trouble, I would apologize for them but it would be rather useless considering they will just do it again later."
Whirling Wrath! the senshi cried, and Titanite tilted her head as a wall of clouds surrounded him and the page that he had grabbed. "Is this the game, then, that you wish to play?" she skipped happily forward. "Keep playing your Ocarina," she advised Pendour, "The music is so very soothing. I like you. We should meet another time as well."
Approaching the whirling winds, she suddenly found herself buffeted about by strong winds. It spun her and twirled her, and Titanite was so very relaxed, that the winds actually- well. Not the game she was hoping for, but she laughed anyways as her blue hair whipped about. She flung her hands up in the air, letting the winds spin her about, and about, and about, and about, and...
Titanite was starting to get dizzy when she found herself approached by yet another member of Order. As the fifth Order aura surrounded her pitiful Chaos one, she let her body flop to the ground with what sounded like an almost drunken giggle.
"Irkalla?" she asked, with absolutely no pride, "You are looking even lovelier than I remember. What a delight to see you. Do not give me a hand up, I am doing quite well on the ground. Honestly, that squire has an ocarina that plays a magical tune, and this senshi has a lovely attack. Can you imagine how it would be on a bright summer day? What a breeze."
She lifted one arm up into the air, staring at her hand. "I will be able to proudly say I distracted five members of Order, all at the same time. Should we try and pull more people into our little game? It's so fun so far."
Monoceros smirked a bit, taking note of the way a Knight came over to protect the chibi senshi that'd arrived from the corrupted senshi. Good. He didn't have to worry about them, then.
"Talking yourself up a lot," he taunted. "Ooh, nice knives, you cut apples with those? Or can you even slice butter?"
Flicking his hand and aiming for Prehnite's abdomen, he shouted, "Quill Flash!"
Sailor Scout Attack: Quill Flash
A burst of porcupine quills flies from Sailor Monoceros's hand, which can cause shallow scratches and/or minor puncture wounds. Any attempt to remove the quills before they vanish will cause sharp, pinpointed pain in the area; however, they don't sink in much deeper than skin-level. A user can choose to have this attack cause permanent damage or the injury will fade when the magic expires. This attack will last 20 seconds and can be used three times per battle.
