Arthur the Guardian Cat
===========

"I do have fish." He admitted. Turning, he reached into his subspace and pulled out some tuna packets and a bag of dried fish snacks. The bag was filled with dried, tiny whole fish. These cat snacks were adfed to the snack table. "I always keep food on me in case oc emergencies." He admitted as he closed the space.

"You have a subspace pocket too. It's valuable to keep necessities when we don't have any pockets or bags on our bodies. I keep a first aid kit for senshi too."

He gave a nod to the human the cat spoke to and looked back. "I think we might have met in Headquarters before. I never got your name."

Pendour, Page of Neptune

Pendour was not sure what she wanted. Training worried her. She did not want to hurt people. There were times, she knew now, when in desperation, she might try to. She did not want to become a well oiled machine of violence. If people wanted that for themselves, so that they could survive, she understood, but making it sound like a game, like something fun, twisted her stomach all kinds of wrong.

Still, she needed to be faster and stronger if she wanted to escape danger, or to defend people. She'd learned that she did not want to die slowly and in pieces, and with her eye gone, it was sometimes hard to grab a mug of tea right, let alone anything that required any form of precision.

She stood towards the edge of the soccer field for now after finding a mask shoved into her hands by some green-haired girl who seemed quite busy. She had to rip a bit of fabric from her skirt and tie it over her bad eye before she put the mask on, and even though it rubbed uncomfortably, at least it made her injuries a little less obvious.

Chibi Super Lepus

More people were arriving, cats too, and if Lepus squinted, maybe she could spot some vaguely familiar-looking people. Or not, as it was just a theory, but for the most part, there was no one that Lepus knew that she would immediately call them out, or walk on over and strike up a conversation with.

(Aside from Morishita, who was Morishita.)

She also had Etoile to keep an eye on, to make sure none of these other senshi would try to lure her away with promises of endless sweets, though right now, the kitten was still perched on her shoulders. Just then, a familiar face, one that Lepus hadn’t seen in ages (not since before her Super upgrade and move to high school) was approaching and greeting her, and Lepus waved to her.

“Hey, Beta!” she greeted back, thrilled to see one of the twin senshi from her constellation again (okay it wasn’t ‘hers’ in any official sense but-), “It’s been forever.”

Sailor Hydor

If one thing was true, it was this: Hydor did not want to be there.

He never wanted to be anywhere, really, but he really did not want to be in the middle of a soccer field with a bunch of other powered people. Did this not make them easier to spot by the enemies? They were all in one place. Easy to locate by energy signature. Probably even easier to snuff out, tactically. Just bring in a couple of those generals, looking at the power level of everyone here--

Mostly weak, like him. A lot of younger types, too. He was fairly sure there were a couple of children running around, of all ******** hell, children. How many children had their starseeds stolen?

Hydor snatched a mask from the green-haired woman he assumed was Cybele, not even bothering to thank her or attempt to chat with her as some were doing. She seemed like she was being occupied by a teenager, anyway. It was interesting, she seemed to have the same weak energy signature as some of the children, but yet she did not resemble a child--

He slipped the mask on, noting that with some frustration, it was hard to fit the glasses on over the mask. Of course. Now he was going to have to have trouble seeing on top of all this s**t--

Why was he here, anyway? He could have just not gone.

Part of him assumed that Faust would shame him if he found out that Hydor could not be arsed to go to a training, and he did not exactly want his laptop peed on again. It was bad enough the first time.

The other part of him, perhaps in vain, perhaps in a way he would not even acknowledge, hoped he may have seen some allies there. Perhaps he could talk a bit more to this Emrys character in a setting where they were not being ambushed in a ******** hospital--

Page Richtersveld of Pluto

Initially, Richtersveld hadn't quite noticed there was something breaking the distance with her, too busy trying to figure out what exactly everyone was doing here. Were they putting on masks? Why were they putting on masks? Was this meant to be a dance?

Was this a secret society?

-- No, that didn't make any sense, people wouldn't be approaching unmasked --

She nearly jumped when a voice hit her ears, complimenting her outfit. A warmth reached her cheeks, both embarrassed that she had been caught off-guard and delighted by the compliment. Not that she had chosen the outfit, but she was rather fond of it herself. Richtersveld certainly couldn't picture herself wearing anything different... "Ah, thank you! You have a cute outfit yourself."

The girl--and she was a girl, clearly, a teenager--in front of her was clearly a senshi. She could tell by the white of her bodice, the sailor collar, and perhaps most important, the aura that she seemed to emit. It certainly wasn't the same sort of energy that came off of a fellow knight. Must have been a senshi of cats of some sort, considering the little tail that seemed to be attached to her skirt...

Glancing down and offering a soft smile, Richtersveld introduced, "My name is Richtersveld! And who are you?" And what's going on here?

Chibi Sailor Anser

"Yeah, he is! Transcendent too, so he's super fancy." At least, that seemed to be what it implied. Encke talked a bit about his transcendence to her, and he seemed to think it was really important. He also seemed to think homeworlds were important, but hers was terrifying, so she had no interest in that, really. Anser remembered seeing the-- "I think he's been at this for a really long time. Wish he'd look out for me a bit less, though."

At that, she scrunched her nose. It was clear that at least according to Anser, Encke had been a bit too much in her business lately. She was fine! A single concussion and a bad event at the theatre didn't mean she needed someone hovering over her at every moment in the day. Not only was she fine, but she would also be fine.

Anser's gaze shifted over to the other senshi when she arrived. Was this another friend of Cybele's? Then she was a friend of hers! "I'm Anser," chirped she, when Larissa was named, as she offered a gloved hand for Larissa to shake. Once that was over, she turned her attention to Cybele. Would they be on different teams, then? She guessed it made sense, but...

"I hope we get to work together! But if we don't, I'ma kick your a**!" at that, Anser grinned. "In the name of learning how to support my team, anyway."

To prove she was ready for this, she bounced from foot to foot.

Eternal Sailor Cadmus

Cadmus would’ve been flattered, but he waved his hand dismissively, saying, “Y’think so? Thanks, I guess, but even as an eternal I think my sphere sucks. It’s hardly intimidating. C’mon, cranberries? Who hears that and shivers with fear?” He sniffed. “But knights? Man, you guys get some cool stuff. Like your staff? What I’d give for something like that.” Cadmus motioned to the weapon to emphasize this.

You make a good point,” he added, lowering his arm. “Small talk is just, well, more awkward than the actual, like, conversation. There’s only so much I can take talking about weather or the state of things. Kinda boring, even if I am with someone else.” A small smile pulled back on his face. “Now fighting, though. I don’t mind talking about that, even if I too suck at it. Sure, I can dust a youma easily—especially as an eternal—but I still avoid negas. More out of habit than skill; they’re not a choice lot to fight. Especially with the, y’know, starseed plucking and everything…

Cadmus couldn’t help a light laugh at the mention of food. He almost inched toward the snack table but disregarded the need and looked back to Alphubel. “It’s some consensus, yea,” he said. “In a, “Sorry you got your a** kicked, here, have a celery stick,”-kinda way. It’s good motivation, to say the least.

Sailor Skoll

Skoll rolled a shoulder, bouncing on the balls of her feet. It had been quite a while since she'd been in a good brawl; the alley kids could only do so much for her, and she had to pull her punches to try to not hurt any of them. She was positively excited to be able to spar with her fellow White Moon.

This may have more to do with the fact she just really liked fighting in general than anything else. She wished Hati had come with her, but he had his own life to live and she'd... well. Skoll hadn't pushed the whole senshi-dom on him lately. She was incredibly gunho about it; hell yeh she'd run around in a leotard and with magic and like double her power. He wasn't so much, and she loved him enough to not want to make anything tense between him.

So she was here alone, a lone wolf among the pack.

Did we mention she was looking forward to this?

She slipped on a mask, and looked towards someone who tried to make his glasses and mask work.

"Ya ready for this?" she asked, lifting the mask up and to the side to show her wide grin.

Sparta Page of Mars

On the other end from the too excited senshi was Sparta. Admittedly, he was crashing this. He'd sort of overheard of this event, and figured he could use a bit of experience and actually... meeting other people. And there were a lot of senshi and knights here. He slipped the mask on, which did not fit his face at all, and started to stretch.

Man what would Ezra say if he saw him here, dressed up like a spartan legion warrior - complete with a helmet and skirt? Man he'd probably laugh and make fun of him. That aside, he was kind of excited to be here. To know there was a whole community of powered people out here...

It was reassuring, more so than anything he'd done since he'd become Sparta in the first place. He stretched and popped his shoulders, readying himself for the brawl.

Team Black - Squire Emrys of Neptune

He was not exactly looking forward to wearing the mask either, Emrys eyeing it with a certain amount of distaste. "Yes, well," he said, without looking up. "I've no idea why they want us to wear these, but I suppose it's not too bad. It could prove interesting, perhaps."

His gaze traced the lines of the mask, the scent of smoke reaching his nose, familiar and somehow soothing. At Eurydike's yell, however, Emrys' head rose, eyes falling on the short and vaguely familiar face of the man that his husband was speaking to.

Gev? The name sounded familiar, and he couldn't quite place it, Emrys' brow furrowing - but then a second later it clicked. His brother had spoken of Gevauden, Knight of Ganymede; about how he had been less than helpful and more than a little combative when it came to the relationship between Order and the Negaverse.

That, and Emrys did not appreciate the comment about skull cracking, a hand reaching out to slide into Eurydike's free one. Tone a little cooler than usual, he said calmly, "I'd appreciate any skull cracking not happen at all, thank you."

Super Sailor Larissa

Larissa eagerly took the mask. Really, it didn't matter at this point since they could see everyone's faces. But it would be fun to fight in at least! "Thank you! And I think it's great! Really, we should have more events to meet with other Order people. We are still so scattered that it's hard to even meet up with one another if you aren't already friends." It was true. She did have some powered friends, or at least acquaintances, but it was still hard to meet up and patrol or dust some youma. The only time they really seemed to get together was when there was an obvious Nega event going on.

Larissa then heard the chibi senshi introduce herself to her and Larissa gladly took her hand to shake. "Anser! I'm so sorry if I interrupted you two. Please forgive me." She said, her cheeks darkening. She really did feel bad about possibly interrupting the two.

Standing back up she grinned at the chibi's eagerness to fight. "Well I hope we can all do our best here! I think a lot of us are wanting to prove ourselves in this brawl, whether it's just knowing that we can fight or trying to impress someone." She said, glad that the other was so eager to join. Both Larissa and Alph were here because they didn't believe themselves to be any good, and hoped that this might show them differently. But if not... there was food!

Team Black - Super Sailor Sabine

Sabine was pulled from her thoughts from a voice coming from the ground, which drew her gaze downward toward the sound. Looking down at the cat, she gave him a warm smile, before dropping down into a crouch to bring her height down a bit, like she often did with most cats.

"Hello Wendell," She said with a small nod of her head. "I am Super Sailor Sabine, Senshi of Tactics. How do you do?"

She offered a hand to the cat - as one would do with a normal animal, knowing full well that the cat could do something in the terms of a hand shake if he really wanted. She eyed his red eye patch with some curiosity - but her manners did not allow her to voice the question rumbling in her head.

Sailor Phoebe

The girl had been running late, which meant she was literally running as she hit the field on chilly bare feet and sprinted across the crispy grass for the tell-tale red of a familiar ponytail that stood out to her like a beacon in the crowd. Somehow, miraculously, she managed to weave her way through the numerous bodies milling about as well as avoid tripping over any cats. Although, she was pretty sure that one was...

"Faust!" She'd recognize that puffy body and stubby tail anywhere. With a grin, barely breaking stride, she half turned and bent to drag fingers in a found scratch between the guardian's ears and down the length of his spine as she skipped past him. Dark fingers wiggled at him, Pheebs running backwards for a couple of steps before turning around again and narrowly avoiding running right into someone. "Whoops, sorry!"

Then she was back to heading for Denebola and a page she didn't recognize, but if she were to hazard a guess, that was Pat in powered form.

"Dene," she called ahead as she got within ear shot, slowing finally to come to a breathless stop beside the duo. "Hi, sorry I'm late." God, her toes were cold. Why didn't her powered side come with shoes?!

Eternal Sailor Eurydike

"Seriously!" the salty senshi responded with a little more force than there needed to be, but seriously, couldn't ******** be said enough. "Thank you, I'm just over here like the ******** am I supposed to do with this s**t, like it ain't bad enough I keep fidgetin' with the goddamn patch as it is - " And then, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Hydor; this really could've been worse, he reasoned then. "See? An' ********' glasses are s**t too, I can't ********' - Hydor!" he called out, waving, not really recalling that Hydor would have no ******** idea who he was since he'd never actually powered up in the hospital. To be fair, the whole mess was pretty goddamn hazy for him looking back minus a few details and the general, y'know, agony and all.

Then, he sighed, taking a long drag of his cigarette and holding it tight between his teeth as he exhaled a long puff of smoke. "********, I hope not. How many goddamn children do these cats loop in anyway?" He wasn't really quiet about it; he never had been. He had his feelings on kids being dragged into a massive magical war, and nothing was going to change them any time soon.

With a smirk that was more playful than anything, he snorted. "Today, huh? Heh. Like to see you try." That was all bark and no bite; Eurydike was painfully aware he was literally terrible at being a senshi, but he saved his insecurities Rhys and kind of... exclusively Rhys, now. Especially since Olga was gone. Jarias was an amazing friend, but not really that kind of friend unless they were both miserable and wallowing in s**t like the last time. And he'd never really shown that side of himself to Fritz (which was probably a little stupid since Celsus probably could've legit showed him a thing or two, but that'd mean admitting to having a problem, and that'd been hard enough to do with Rhys).

Speaking of his husband, Eurydike felt his hand in his own and immediately squeezed back, flashing him the biggest, warmest smile - although he looked a little puzzled, too, considering the tone. Wasn't like Emrys, really. Shy and reserved, yeah, he was like this, but that was... kind of cold? "OH, right, " and this was kind of important. He turned his gaze back to Gev, brandishing Emry's hand. "He's my husband, Emrys! Emrys, this is Gev." Maybe Rhys was pissed he hadn't introduced them sooner?

Knight Gevaudan
===========

"Well if you want to spare sometime, then I could show you what years of experience looks like." He said, smiling at that and looking at the mask in his hands, still trying to figure out how this was going to work. Maybe take the patch off?

"Are there chibi senshi around? That's just unfair to them. They'll miss kindergarten in the morning if we wind up dislocating their limbs." He said as he turned the mask over.

The other man that Eurydike was with didn't have his full attention yet until the senshi curled his hand into his and rose it up. "Husband?" He said, looking over to the man and, slowly, narrowing his eyes. "It's ...Emrys?..." Wait. He met this guy before. Wasn't it Celsus? Did he get his names wrong. No the uniform wasn't green like that.

He continued to narrow his eyes at the man. "We met.......right?" Was he going nuts?! He swore this guy had glasses before. And didn't he wear gold?
And didn't he have just a bit of very deep V neck that kinda showed off a bit of his chest - not that he had REMEMBERED that specific detail for any one reason or another but he swore he thought he remembered man cleavage at some point.

Team Black - Mauvian Guardian Wendell

Wendell, being a cat, obviously couldn't wear any of the masks that were being handed out, but he had still managed to drape one over his neck anyway. It was currently propped on the top of his head as he peered up at the senshi, his head cocked to one side, watching her with an expression of interest.

"Super Sailor Sabine of Tactics!" he said brightly. "That is an excellent name! You are quite excellent, to be senshi of something as important as tactics! Tactics can be very useful! I am not a senshi of anything, of course, but I am bonded to a Senshi of Adventure, and he is quite amazing, so I am always looking for more amazing senshi to meet!"

He was delighted by the offering of her hand in greeting. Wendell put out a paw against her fingers, beaming up at Sabine as much as a cat could, his tail flicking through the grass.

"Are you here to learn how to fight as well?"
