Hobbies:Soccer ~ Ever since he was little, he has been playing soccer. It started as a way for his dad to spend time with him and his brother but it soon became more of an activity for just his dad and him with Terry joining in less and less. It was something he enjoyed so as soon as he was able to join the little league soccer team he did and continued to play for them until he got too old. He picked it right back up in high school and got a scholarship for it. After high school he switched to the college team. Currently he isn't playing for any team and is instead co-coaching the little league soccer team though he still plays soccer in his free time with both former team mates and with family.
Reading ~ The easiest way to keep him still when he was younger was to read a book to him. That suck with him throughout the years but changed to being something he enjoys at any time and not when he needs to be calm or rest. His favorite genre of stories are adventure and fantasy books.
Jogging ~ In high school his coach got him into jogging as a way to both keep in shape as well as a way to increase his stamina. It has become a habit to go jogging every other day in the evening, instead of the morning like he had started it as he is not a morning person.
Virtues:Playful ~ He likes to have a good time and regularly pulls others into what ever it is he is doing at the time. It could be something simple like a conversation, to a game of some sort and everywhere in between. One of the ways this shows is how quickly he will pull others into banter of some kind, though it is rarely mean spirited as if the other person isn't having fun then he would rather move on to the next topic or person rather then chance the mood souring.
Loyal ~ Whether it is loyalty to a person or a cause, Matt has it in spades. When someone or something has won him over it takes a miracle to change his decision to support the person or cause. This leads him with a tendency to drop what he is doing to give help or whatever it is that someone he is loyal to needs at the time. The exception would be if he was already doing something that he already was attached to loyalty wise. He would come running if a family member or friend needed him if he was doing some errands for instance but would find it harder to drop everything unless the situation was dire if he was currently with his little league team.
Flaws:Mischievous ~ To walk hand and hand with his love of enjoyment, he has a mischievous streak from the top of his head to the bottom of his toes. It might come out in his banter in some form of teasing that could be either light to heavy, or it might come out in some kind of prank if he is bored. For instance it wasn't unusual for him to convince Terry to be his accomplices in something, or to target his little brother in the first place. Ask him sometime about the water balloons filled with syrup and you will get the story in detail with a grin on his face.
Strong Willed ~ If he sees something that grabs his interest then Matt will work around the angles to find away to grasp it. For people he could want to be friends with them, or simply know more about them, for items he might save up the money extra carefully in order to buy it. It doesn't seem bad at first but if you try to persuade him to give up on what ever it is then he digs his feet in deeper. He does not change his mind easily at all and to get him to make said change you have to hit multiple angles at the same time such as logical and emotional. Even then it sometimes doesn't work depending on just what it is being discussed. Tell him not to try and befriend that person? He's over there talking to them now. Tell him he doesn't need x item? Yeah he already has saved up over half and you aren't changing his mind.
