Protos night started off rather uneventfully.

The amount of energy she drained was almost good enough to meet her personal quota! A small humming left her while she moved onto the next person in the park. The sleeping night time jogger was not aware of the magical being behind them, or the increasing tiredness they were feeling. They only went into a deeper sleep. If she played her cards right, then she would be able to make that cap as soon as she was done with this one person, she just had to….Not accidentally kill them like she did that one bum on her second night powered. Oops. She almost blew her cover when a small light appeared before her. She tried to swipe at it, but it quickly took off. She shrugged and worked on releasing the mirrorwraith to take energy.

He was on his own for patrol tonight, not something unexpected or uncommon, it just meant that he had to be more careful about power levels then if he had his little brother or any of their family group with him. Siwa had been patrolling for about an hour before he felt the Mirror Senshi’s signature and after a moment of comparing their ranks, he started to make a beeline to the park. He did toss a quick message to Terry but at least power level wise he should be fine.

When he made it to the park and found the Mirror Senshi draining a sleeping person dressed up in jogging attire, he didn’t hesitate to barge his way in to interrupt. “You know, it isn’t nice stealing energy from people who just want to enjoy the night.” He said as he aimed a kick at the young woman.

Needless to say, Proto was not prepared for the white moon signature to come her way, nor was she prepared for the kick that landed mid back. The surprised senshi squeaked in pain and bent over the bench, looking back at the knight in surprise. "You know it's not nice to do that! He's still alive!" She picked herself up, wincing at the pain in her back. "It wasn't very nice of you to just kick me either!"

She took the time to back up and away. She was gonna have to run, what was this guy's problem?

~*~*~

“Sure, he’s still alive for the moment but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t end up killing him.” Siwa said as he moved to stand between the Mirror and the civilian. “Even if you didn’t plan on killing him you left him vulnerable to, say, animal attacks or other people with unsavory intentions.” He pointed out holding up his single tonfa just in case. He wasn’t sure if he believed the innocent act there anyway, as he had heard mixed things about the Mirror Court members.

Proto winced and promptly panicked when she saw the knight brandishing his weapon. She stepped back a bit, worrying her lip. She needed that energy! She was almost doooone! "But there is no one around to hurt him! That's why I picked him!" Sighing and looking sadly at the sleeping man, she made her decision, raising her hand. "Stasis bubble!" A pretty iridescent bubble came from her hand, shooting rapidly at the knight before her. She would just trap him in a bubble to give her enough time to take off and find another Donator. There was a bit of a twinkle in her peripheral and she briefly glanced at it to spot some sort of weird firefly? No, too big. Either way she turned her attention back to the knight in front of her.

“And when you leave him laying there after you are done? Can you guarantee no one or nothing will come?” Siwa snapped back before stiffening up when the Mirror called her magic attack. He jumped back to scoop up the civilian then jumped to the side, just barely managing to miss being hit by the attack. He wasn’t sure what it was but with ‘stasis’ in the name he had a bit of a clue. The Page set the civilian down farther away then darted in to swing his tonfa at her.

~*~*~

Okay that did backfire, but now she was starting to lose her patience.

Proto squeaked and barely managed to move out of the way. She had learned from her lesson in that stupid pocket dimension that she at least needed to learn how to dodge. She wasn't sure on what to do after that, so she aimed a kick right towards his weak spot: The nads. If it stuck, she would use her bubble on him and take the remaining energy needed for her quota just to be slightly petty.

Also would serve him right for kicking her in the back.

~*~*~

He saw the kick coming and it was only the many years of soccer practice that saved him from taking the critical hit to the nads. Siwa wasn’t able to fully dodge however and instead took the kick to the hip and it spun him around a bit thanks to having to throw his balance off to save his nethers.

Perfect!

Even if he didn't go down in pain, that was more than enough time. “Stasis bubble!”. The attack wasn't much but the 15 seconds would be just enough for her to drain what she needed and get outta dodge. She was pretty sure the knight wouldn't follow her and then she could see if she wanted to be greedy or just head home. Usually her encounters with the white moon were pretty tame, she wasn't sure why this one was so different. Or maybe it's because she usually doesn't drain out in the open like this. Her fault for taking what should've been a perfect opportunity. Either way, she was about to win for the day and then go home and start a stream.

She did have videos to edit but that could wait till tomorrow. They had to go through her quality check first and that would be awhile since the person she works with is a bit on the slow side.

~*~*~

This time Siwa couldn’t avoid the magical attack since he was still recovering his balance. If she had done it just a moment later he could have possibly dodged but this was not the case now and he got caught in the bubble. He instantly froze as the magic took effect, his body clearly caught between the moments of a wobble and catching itself. It had been so quick that he hadn’t even had time to widen his eyes in surprise before the magic washed over him.

~*~*~

Yes!

Proto did not waste time, looking at the frozen knight with a giggle. She reached over towards the civilian, keeping track of the hold while she started to drain energy. While she didn't kill the poor man, the knight would have to stay by him to protect from harm. As she finished up, she wondered if that was why she was on the side of Chaos. While she tried not to harm the people she drained, she also found herself not being all that concerned if something did happen to them. Most of the time her donors were bad people anyway. This guy was just at the right place, but at the wrong time. “Now, done!” She stuck her tongue out at the frozen knight, “Byeeeeee!” She leaped away and kept going.

Tonight would be a stream, that much was for sure.

When the magic finally faded Siwa caught himself instead of falling down and cursed under his breath about the Mirror Senshi. He was quick to check on the civilian and sighed in relief to find him still alive, just drastically drained. Throwing a scowl in the direction he had felt the Mirror run off to, he then picked up the civilian and started to quickly make his way to the nearest hospital he could drop him off at.
