[Diary] The book of secrets hangs from Kages' belt, a strap of cloth in a cross keeping it at his side. The book itself is bound in a dark leather, any other details on it overshadowed by the lock on the front cover. A large eye seems to stare out from the front of the book, the center of the iris opening to a keyhole. Even while locked it is easily seen that several pages have been torn from the front of the book in large chunks.

Style: Suits and other types of clothing that hide the tattoos on his body as well as a pair of shades to hide his eyes so that he may attempt to pass as human.
Commonly Known Facts Kylar refers to Kage as if he is a different person, the time when he wasn't himself is spoken of as if looking back on the actions of someone else. Like Kage, Kylar doesn't make a sound when walking. He levitates just above the ground to remain silent. The key at his side can transform into a sheathed sword, able to be drawn and used as a weapon.
Hidden Facts Kylar is the 'adopted son' of Kate Masamune. He was raised by Kate and her brother Michael. When he showed in interest in joining the renegade Kate convinced him to erase his own memories and move to the recently reopened Sanctuary. She had hoped this would keep him safe, but told him it was because she wanted his decision to join to not be because of her influence, if he joined without memories of her on his own accord, then and only then would she accept it.
Overall Personality Kylar retains some of his curiosity, however it doesn't extend to the extent that Kage had. Regaining his memories he isn't missing the parts of himself that made Kage so obsessive. Unlike Kage, Kylar acts with purpose thinking everything through before acting and is even attempting to repair some of the damage that Kage created before returning to his former self. His memories of Andy cause him to still care for her, but not to the extent that he had as Kage. Their children however are something very dear to him, a true family that he would give everything to protect, perhaps a trait learned from observing Michael with Kate.
The Good
The Bad Kage The person he had become still haunts him. Kylar has done things he is not proud of as Kage. He remembers everything that Kage did with such clarity that it still has some of his past a bit cloudy. He remembers enough to consider himself Kylar once more, but Kage still exists within him.
Rage While Kylar attempt to remain calm and in control, he has another side as well. Perhaps closer to Kages' nature or even because of his memories as Kage, Kylar will become enraged if someone he cares about is in danger. He loses control of his Intimidation Aura and himself when someone he cares about is injured, threatened or attacked. Unless calmed or the last one standing, he has a chance of entering into a frenzy attacking those who he considers a threat without mercy.
Self-loathing Perhaps the only negative trait that remains the same as Kage, Kylar hates his intimidating presence. He has taken to locking it away resulting in the tattoos that cover his body. They serve as a constant reminder of the monster he is just beneath the surface, so terrifying that many flee in his presence when unleashed. When unleashed Kylar becomes the monster he truly fears he is, losing control as he gives into the rage.
Overconfident Kylar is sure of himself and his abilities. It's not that he underestimates someone else, he overestimates his own ability. He knows some things he can't deal with, but those things are few and far between.

Name of Power: Contract of the Damned Element: Necromancy/metal/dimensional Relation to Item/Race:The key can unlock things that should never be opened and then it can not lock them back in. Active/Passive: Active Description of Power: Chains of the Damned are given a target when summoned. Once Target has fled, been rendered unconscious or someone else becomes helpless the chains take on a will of their own. After an above condition is met, they target the person with the lowest HP, friend or foe. Unconscious targets it will attempt to grapple before dragging them through the portal ending the duration early. Chains of the Damned acts indipendantly.
Due to the person who modified his powers when he lost his original ones, he has a contract with vengeful spirits who want nothing more than to return to life in what ever way they can. They control the chains and are what may possess a body(with permission for PC characters).

Limits: -Kylar loses control of chains if someone starts to flee, is KO, or becomes helpless for more than one round. = Uncontrolled chains -Uncontrolled chains: When kylar loses control, chains goes after the person with lowest hp including Kylar. -Uncontrolled chains: Chains will attempt to bind an unconcious foe, if successfully binds for two round in a row on the same person(or permission) then will pull them through a portal to Umbra. They are then taken out of battle. Kylar then regains control of Chains of Damned. -Can only drag on person per day to Umbra. -Uncontrolled chains: Kylar takes damage from his own chains if attempts to defend target from chains. -Uncontrolled chains: Chains may also stop if Kylar is unconcious -Uncontrolled chains: When chains reach uncontrolled stage then is considered a seperate entity. hp:30. Kylar can not use Contract of Damned while chains are in this state. Chains uses up charges then move to basic attacks. -Unconcious bodies taken to Umbra has two choices. -First choice: With permission from the character's player, one of the vengeful spirits takes out the soul and returns to battle using the body, for a few hours. The soul can then explore umbra..maybe even find Gaia. -Second choice: Nothing happens, the vengeful spirits are unsuccessful and the body and spirit reappear in a graveyard a few hours later near the battle feeling if they woke up from a nightmare. -Charges

The key does just that, opening a doorway to the underworld. The spirits within seek to draw in poor souls and attempt to split the spirit from the body and riding the vessel to freedom. ++(Passive) After Summon, must follow Contract of the Damned Rules. ++(Specific Limitations) Attempts to grapple a target upon KO, if not removed with a contested roll it then drags the target into the underworld. Several pages are missing from the journal, the frayed edges still in the spine of the book. The first page is cluttered with a portion of a flier, a fold out of a map and an entry into the journal. The flier reads, "You will be safe at the sanctuary." The map inside of the book has an area just outside of a nearby small town circled, the location of the newly reopened academy. Beneath that the entry begins.
I write this my last entry into this journal not as a reminder to myself, but as a note to the other me. Assuming I succeeded you won't remember very much and it's for the best. It's the only way to keep everyone safe. Safe from what you may ask, but don't worry that will be answered shortly. I need you to visit the place on the map. There used to be a school there before some incident 20 years ago, but you won't remember any of that. What you need to know is there used to be people like you there and perhaps if you are lucky there may still be. Remember to write down anything important, you tend to forget small details. Metamorphos Academy, I found it. The school wasn't anything I expected, perhaps even Kylar didn't expect the state of it when he sent me there. The front of the building was decrepit, but inside it was pristine. Apparently it's been being used as a sanctuary for people like me who aren't able to pass among the humans. While there I met a man named Ree, he was immune to my abilities but invited me to join an organization that would help me. Damn, Kylar was right I do forget little details, I almost forgot to add this part. I read my file at the school, I was taken from there as a child by a woman named Kate Masamune. I am waiting on a car right now, I'm supposed to be picked up to go meet with the organization Ree invited me to.
Along the sides of the page the word Important was scribbled along with some key notes.

Bored... I'm so bored... Ever since I arrived Mara, the woman in charge here has kept me confined to the facility. She keeps saying that I need to be tested, but none of her people want a fresh start. I am allowed to wander around, but every time I get near something that looks cool I get redirected. I don't think she trusts me yet, I'll have to make sure that when i get this test I don't fail. No matter what happens I have to pass or she may stop looking for Kate. We worked out a deal, I work for her and she works for me in finding out what she can about my... Mother? No, I doubt it. Our names are different so it's impossible to tell, also if she was my mother the message would have been different. I'll have to remember to ask her when we find her.
Aside from the word bored being traced lightly across the entire page there was a part that had been gone over repeatedly and been underlined.

The test came today... I wish I could say I was prepared for it, but I wasn't. I wasn't erasing just a few moments of the past like I have until now. I killed someone, nothing can prepare you for that. I passed the test, but someone is dead because of me. The worst part is I enjoyed it... Andy Eternal is dead, her past gone the experiences that made her who she is forgotten. I'm glad I spoke to her before it happened, I don't feel so bad about enjoying it when her life before was terrible. I wonder if maybe my life had been the same way before I forgot who I was. The pain and suffering she has suffered may come to haunt her in the future, but for now she's been given a second chance at life. I owe it to her to make this one a good one. I left her with one memory, hopefully a good one since she wanted to be loved. I told her I loved her, it was a lie but I will try. She's beautiful, but love goes beyond just looks. Maybe some day it won't be a lie anymore, but for now I must try.
At the bottom of the page was what he could remember of Andy.
Enjoyed making clothing. Freya clothing (Guardian Angel), Music. Her dying wish was to be wanted, try to love her you are all that she has left.

I said I should try loving her, but I didn't know it would be so easy. I was there when she woke up, she seemed so scared. I couldn't help but comfort her. Everyone else made it complicated, leaving everything up to me simply because Mara was upset. I don't know their history, but it has to be something terrible the way she reacted. I took Andy outside after she pleaded and she showed me the most beautiful thing. We kissed on the grass, I didn't expect for it to happen it just kind of did. I liked the sensation of her lips against mine it was the best thing ever. Mara ruined the moment however by coming in with guns aimed at us when she found Andy wasn't in her room. We kissed again back in the room, it was awesome. I don't know if it's love, but I definitely feel something for Andy.

Mara called me into her office, I made a fool of myself thinking she was talking about what I did with Andy in the room last night, she was talking about when I took Andy outside. I warned Mara about her attitude towards Andy, I don't think it will improve, but I can hope. She said that I am being influenced by Andy, but I don't believe that. We shared something last night and it was incredible. I hate to admit it so soon, but I think I might be falling for her. It's still to early to tell though. I have three weeks to find out how I feel about her, that's the time that Mara wants to tell her some of the things she has forgotten. She said it was part of the plan, but I think it's only because her Shadow let something slip. Ohh well, perhaps it's for the best I don't want to lie to Andy anymore. Also she said I can't spend a lot of time with her. I'm being sent on observation missions starting tomorrow.

I woke up with Andy in my arms this morning. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps that I couldn't bring myself to get up. Mara was upset when I left the compound later than usual. It's only been a week since my talk with Mara. Andy hasn't tried manipulating like she thinks she would, not that I would mind. Perhaps if she was just using me it would be easier to explain the feelings I am developing for her. I feel complete whenever I am with her, I don't know if that could be anything other than love.

I caught Andy singing in the room when I returned, she didn't hear me come in so I sat on the bed and listened. She has the most beautiful voice and seems to enjoy herself whenever she sings. I'm glad to see that even though she has forgotten her past she can still enjoy the things she loved before. I want to spoil her, but Mara refuses to budget so that I can pamper Andy with all sorts of gifts. I want to give her the world, but sadly I am limited by this stupid organization. Even after two weeks Mara doesn't trust, she keeps guards on me whenever I get to close to a restricted area. I've noticed where the guards go when their shift is over though, perhaps they store excess supplies in there or at the very least forget some.
Notes: Andy: I want to give her everything, I hate lieing to her. Guards swap shifts at the end of the hallway, third door on the right past the restricted area.

Today is the last day, it's three weeks exactly tomorrow. I finally get to tell Andy the truth, I don't have to lie anymore. I'm in love with her, I know for sure now. Her very presence brights up my day. I miss her when I leave, I can't get enough of her when we are together. She makes me smile, not to mention how good she makes me feel. I love every moment with her and dread every moment apart. I'm worried what she will think, but at least I won't have to lie to her any more. I'm going to stop by the bakery before I get back tomorrow. Even if she hates me when she learns the truth I want to see her smile one last time. I'll go to Mara afterwards and we'll reveal everything to her. I just hope she can still love me once she knows the truth, I don't know if I could handle it if she hated me. There's no point in worrying about that now though, I won't know until we tell her.
The bottom of the page has a large heart circling the name Kylar and Andy.

We were attacked, at least SIU was. I thought they were after Andy, but we found out from one of the renegades that were captured that they were after someone else that SIU has captive. A child names Melody. The girl we captured is the sister of Andy. When we were fighting she greeted Andy and tried to surrender. Tri refused her surrender and tried to kill her. I fired at her, but she stopped most of the bullets with a wall of fire. Andy questioned me when we got back to the room and I told her everything without Mara. I left her my journal to read. The next morning I was called in to question her sister, she would only talk to me it seems. I lost me temper and left. When I got back to the room I had a fight with Andy, but given how it ended I'm sure we've made up.
Andy has a sister, Blaise they said he name was. Need to speak with Mara so it's not discovered I told Andy the truth without her.

Yesterday was so hectic, I don't know where to begin. I've been staring at these pages trying to write, but it's just so difficult. I went to visit Mara, we were supposed to tell Andy the truth and I went to remind her. I guess I interrupted something because she was upset. While upset she gave me an ultimatum I could either give up my powers or leave without Andy. I thought things were going well, I had helped defend the base during the renegade attack. I panicked and erased her memories. I knew instantly that I had made a mistake, but there was no going back from there. I went to free Blaise with the intention of escaping with Andy afterwards, but found them together. We made a break for it and on the way out I took a hostage, the daughter of Tri. She was injured and couldn't resist as we put her in a car and tried to escape. I assumed she would prevent SIU from using drastic measures to keep her from harm. I was mistaken. Ree followed us and killed his sister when he caused the car to smash into a barricade. It was confusing at the time and I mixed up what he did or didn't know thinking it was my fault, but looking back he knew we had the girl. Andy fred towards the renegade base with the dead child a bit before I left with an injured Blaise. We met the renegades and I somehow knew one of them, a boy, Michael. There was arguing, the daughter was alive and I left with Andy.
