There was a knock on the door to the room Mara was resting in. Without waiting for a reply the door opened and Kage stepped inside the door locking behind him. He approached the bed silently standing beside it before he spoke, "It's been three weeks." He watched her for a reaction before adding to his statement, "We need to tell her, especially since we have her sister in the interrogation room." He wasn't sure if Mara already knew they were sisters or not, but he decided to give her all of the information just in case she didn't already know. "The Flame Meta surrendered so that she could be with her sister, she seems willing to cooperate with us as long as her sister is happy here. It would be strange to keep lying to her if you want to make use of the sister, even with my ability to erase her memories. She says she will help collaborate whatever story you tell as long as Andy is happy."

Kage looked at her confused for a moment. Mara was asking the impossible, especially since she didn't trust him so what reason did he have to trust her. In a choice between giving up his powers or the woman he loved, the answer was simple. He would give up the person demanding something so ridiculous. He removed the key from his waist as he made his decision, "Fine. You win, Mara." He stepped forward with his hand extended. Once he was close enough to Mara he spoke up, "Nevermind, this is dumb."

Power surged through his words as he spoke affecting Mara and her puny human mind, "Forget. Forget me, Forget your responsibility, Forget this place, Forget your past, Forget everything." The power tore through Mara like sheet paper, her memories falling away as they flashed before her eyes. The entire process jarring for the first time as Andy and himself were already aware. He wasn't sure if Mara would still be standing when it finished, but he knew she would be useless for the time being. Given the conversation he had interrupted he assumed he would have less than an hour uninterrupted assuming nothing went wrong.

Kage stepped outside looking down the hallway, one way led to the room and Andy, the other towards the Meta claiming to be her sister. He considered his options, heading towards Andy first is what he wanted to do, but getting her in to see her sister would be difficult. The sister however would be easy, he could get in without issue and possibly get her help in retrieving Andy if need be. He headed to the right headed toward the sister hoping she would aid him in their escape.

What started out as a brisk walk turned into a full run as Kage navigated the hallways towards the interrogation room. He wasn't sure how long he had before Mara would remember, he only knew that an hour was his limit. He slowed to a walk as he turned the last corner seeing two guards stationed just outside of the doorway. He raised a hand in greeting as he approached, "Hey Fellas, Mara wants this one erased." He walked up casually until they said they needed to check with Mara. He placed a hand on both of them and spoke, "Forget about it. It's not a big deal, just forget I came through here." His power washed over them as they would forget his appearance. He took the moment of confusion to enter the room and lock the door before taking in what he saw inside. The sister wasn't alone and this was definitely an unexpected turn of events, at least things seemed to be working out in his favor thus far.

Kage eyed the pair in the room, "I see you two have met, that will make this simpler. It's time to go, I am getting both of you out of here." He looked at them finally taking in the full situation of what they had been doing and saying as he had arrived. No longer needing to make a detour he began trying to think of things that would help ensure their escape.

Kage reached forward grabbing the collar pulling it off as the lock became undone in his grasp. It slid off effortlessly perhaps a show of immense strength or something else entirely. He repeated the process on Andy and looked towards the door before offering a partial explanation, "I erased Mara, I don't know how long it will last. We have about forty-five minutes at best before some sort of alarm goes up though. We need to make our way to the Garage and make a get away." He considered things for a moment and then added, "There are two guards outside, they will need to be dealt with. If one of you wouldn't mind I'll lead the way, we'll stick to the restricted areas so that our chances of being spotted in person are reduced." He gave them a moment to decide how they would deal with the guards before unlocking the door and stepping out. He distracted the guards as he suddenly exited and they didn't remember him entering in the first place. He continued walking confident that the girls would be able to deal with them while they were distracted by him.

Kage led them through the restricted areas pausing occasionally to peek into the windows of some of the rooms once they reached a set of similar holding cells. There sure were a lot of these in the compound, although most appeared to be empty. One room in particular caught his interest causing Kage to come to a stop as he looked into the room a second time to confirm what he saw. The girl that had impaled herself on his sword the other day was laying on one of the beds, Tris daughter as she had said. Whether it was true or not perhaps if he took one of the children he could use them as a bargaining chip should things go south faster than expected. "Give me a moment, there is someone else we need in here." He pretended like this was part of the original plan, opening the door. He stepped into the room picking up the child from the bed careful not to move her to much as he stabilized her weight with his levitation. He returned to the hallway with the girl to weak to fight back and began leading them back through the restricted areas before hitting the non-restricted hallway to the parking garage.

Kage left the guards to Blaise and Andy carefully taking the daughter through the door before approaching the nicest looking car inside. He opened the back door and set the girl down gently before looking at the room inside. "Damn, we won't all fit. You two take this, I'll follow behind." He moved to the front of the car and turned the ignition starting it before looking around for something else. Finding a motorcycle in the garage he turned his key bringing the motor to life. He climbed atop it straddling the seat, it almost felt natural. He revved the engine and it suddenly seemed like he knew what to do. He pulled the motorcycle around in front of the car and waited on the other two preparing to escape SIU with a souvenir in tow.

"Security Inner Edge to Commander Asriel? Is there a reason Experiment 1 is being moved outside of the building? "

Asriel frowned and tapped the comm on the side of his head. "No, she's restricted to her room. All medical treatment to be done there.... Send security out to get her back " frowning, the only person who would try to move her without his knowledge "Tri, is he still in his room? " there was a pause. "Still there " Asriel looked faintly alarmed. "Ree? Wait damn kid isn't collared. Ask the ou-"

"Video Security from level 3 and outer wall. We have people DOWN on the outer level near the garages, a few wandering aimlessly in level three.... Andy and the prisoner Balise's collars have been deactivated " there was a pause. "Three people getting into (title) Mara's car and one taking Ree's bike but it's not the meta himself"

Asriel cursed "the gate is locked for the night right? Even if he unlocks it he wouldn't be able to active the power " he growls moving to the intercom. "Who? "
"Kage. " he growled, having been warned by Mara that he might be trouble but he doubted she expected it to go this far. "Transfer outer guards to meet them. Shoot on sight. Tell them if a little girl starts hacking up things to back off. " he ran his hand through his hair and moved back into Mara's office, he was about to head off for the night and leave the other in charge ..well that wasn't happening now. Calling Ree he idly pressed the intercom. "Ree answer your damn phone! " moments before the alarms started going off.

"Here here. What? " Ree answered and sounded alarmed as he looked toward his bedroom door as the sirens went off.

"Escape in progress. Andy, Blaise, Kage and Hexxis. One on your motorcycle, the other three in Mara's car. ...electric car at least they won't get to far. Get your comm and head them off. The gates are closed but after last time I don't think that will hold them. " he hanged up moving toward the door and stopping, opening it and looking outside for anyone. "You! Go wake Mara if she hasn't by now. Then take your station"

Ree paled, Blaise and Andy?......Kage. But Hexxis? Why would Hexxis go with them? He could slow them down but he couldn't beat them 1 on 3? Hexxis was still injured...or did her Malice make the deal...which made the odds even worse. Tri was still recovering, he would be taking up with those alarms though and he wasn't fit to fly as Hexxis wasn't fit to be out and about either.

He grabbed his comm and placed it on his ear as he looked around the room as if looking for something else to help him and grabbed two more comes encase Zira and Kae wants to help. He blinked and pulled out his phone and called Kae. "Hi Kae... Or Zira? Er very big favor. Could Zira help me get Hexxis back? Andy, Blaise, Kage escaped and Hexxis is with them supposedly. Commander Asriel just warn me....I just don't think it is Hexxis doing it willingly though" he said carefully, saying what was important to him out of those 4. He personally didn't care for the other two and Kage he ...wasn't sure yet how he felt about that as he reached the courtyard and paused....eyes widening then narrowing as he thought through it coldly.

Turning around he headed back inside and walked to the last member who has been neglected during these days of trouble. He also didn't handle kids well... Well he did it just made him feel odd being asked to babysit. Reaching Melody's room he knocked with his free hand and hope she was there, he wasn't going to look for her other wise, the detour no might prevent him from helping the humans heading out to stop the cars. He wasn't to worried for Hexxis though...he couldn't afford to. They needed to go before Tri managed to get up.

Kae was laying on the bed, writing in a journal, her hair pulled up lightly into a ponytail and was wearing much more relaxed clothes than her usual suit, sporting a v-neck t-shirt and some casual jeans. She held the pen to her lips as she thought for a moment, then wrote a few more equations onto the lined paper.

Zira sat at the desk, tinkering with a device that Kae had been working on earlier, merely continuing the process while Kae took a break to jot down her notes about her work. Zira suddenly perked up, standing up without warning.

Kae quirked an eyebrow as her eyes slid to watch Zira, an unsettling feeling finding its way to boil up slowly. "What is it..."

"Danger.." Zira turned to look at Kae's cellphone on the nightstand next to her. "They need help. Hexxis.."

Kae nodded, setting down her book and picking up her phone, answering it the moment it began to ring, "What's wrong." she started in, knowing something wasn't right. She listened to Ree talk, explain a bit, and ask about Zira. Kae shot a glance to Zira and nodded, the girl melted into the shadows and disappeared. "Zira is on her way to you right now. I'll head that way as well." she instructed suddenly then paused for a moment. "Hexxis isn't capable of that..." she shook her head then tried to think of a better way to put it, "She is simply too injured." she stated simply, hoping he understood there was no way that Hexxis could be trying to escape with the others, and that it was far more likely they had kidnapped her for leverage or as a hostage while trying to make a break for it. "You needn't wait for me... Just go." she half-commanded as she then hung up the phone without a word and leaped from the bed to her feet and ran out of her room and down the hall. Dodging through the occassional humans, she knew she could be fast enough to at least catch up to Ree.

As soon as Kae had hung up, shadows seemed to pool up in front of Ree as Zira rose up from them to a stand before him. "I am at your command, Ree." she announced lightly to him, letting him know that she would do as he said for the time being as Dr. Kae had wished it. Zira then followed him as he suddenly went back inside, she knew what he was going for and she did not stop him to do so.

Melody had been distressed by all the alarms as a knock came at her door. She hesitated then moved to the door. She extended wires against the door to brace it within her control as she opened it slowly, unsure if it was another attack of the EE coming for her. This time she'd be prepared. She peeked through the door ajar as she saw Ree and she gripped the door hard and her stomach churned. The same tactic? Was this really Ree? He was just standing there. Melody was wary as she took a quick shakey breath. "...ree." she stated simply, trying to move past her fears. She then spotted Zira behind him and shifted uneasily. Melody retracted the wires and opened the door further, so that she stood in the doorway looking at them and frowned. "Are they here for me again?"

Blaise nodded as Kage revised the plan. "Gotcha, lead the way!" she kept an eye on him as he sped off and began to open the gate, as the gate was open enough for the car to pass, she floored it again and drove through the entranceway. She kept a bit of a slower pace to allow Kage time to get on the bike and catch back up.

Andy stayed focused worriedly on Hexxis, she seemed pained as she was still hurt badly by the wound she had previously sustained. She had to fight the urge to climb into the backseat herself and comfort the small child. Andy knew she was in pain, but maybe it was necessary since Kage was adamant about getting her. She eyed the inhibitors, not exactly understanding was such a small girl had three of them and all active. It was disconcerting, but it was what it was.

The Tesla carrying Andy, Blaise and Hexxis made it through the open gate before the guards even realized what was happening. They called out to Kage for his surrender, but he didn't even have the chance to tell them to go to hell as one of them opened fire. He must have been shaking, being one of three expected to guard the gate against the escaped Metas, because the bullets went wide. Ignoring him, Kage began to roll the bike through the gate. It seems the other two beside him were a better shot however as suddenly pain shot through his shoulder. There was now a hole in his jacket, but blood didn't seem to be coming out. His head turned towards the guards as he released his Aura, the already scared guard becoming terrified. "Shoot me again and I swear you will regret it." He turned from them and continued wheeling out the bike trying to fight the urge to complain about the pain in his shoulder they didn't need to know it had even hurt him.

Kage pulled the gate closed before placing his key against the bars. He twisted clockwise locking the gate as eyes began to open across it. The locks sprang to life forming in many places where the gate connected with the wall when closed. The wheels grew eyes as the locks formed on the rotating center the magic potentially enough to slow down the group piling into vehicles to follow. The charge looked threatening and he didn't feel like sticking around more than he had to as he suppressed the aura once more and revved the engine before taking off after Blaise and the others.

Tri leaned heavily against the chair, one hand resting against his side as he waited for the pain to pass down to more manageable levels, and that was only from tying his shoes. Lowering his head, black hair fell lightly to either side of his face covering his grimace of pain. Enemies..attacking..but he wouldn't be helping any one if he at least didn't have shoes on.

"...." Sirens and an intercom call for Ree followed by instructions to go to selected areas. Yes there was trouble but where to go to first? Mara this time, he would figure out where she was and continue to get in touch with Ree along the way.

He started to push himself up as there was a knock on the door and a little girl..//Hexxis?// no shorter, black hair ..no eye patch Melody ran in and blocked his path follow shortly by Kae who looked like she might have seen a ghost as she stared at the girl. He looked between them as he felt the first flickers of irritation. He had to go if only to keep them and the others safe, Ree could only deal with things only after a point..and he was starting to realize that fighting against metas was nothing like fighting against humans. Something which he would have to remedy.

"Ree sent you? He is the only active one we have right now..." He paused looking away from them as he tried to hide how painful talking was. "And he can't handle the amount of people they could send if they are attacking again " he pushed off from the desk and looked at Melody and Kae solemnly. No...even last time, they had always been short handed and the eay things turned out had been a matter of luck. Pushing away he tried to move around them and head toward the door.

Ree blinked as she faded away leaving him with the Comm and just questions as he heard her voice in his head. But there was no time, letting out a soft hiss he rushed toward the door and opened it taking wing as quickly as he could activating his comm as he tried to gain altitude all three pair of wings working to do so. He just hope he didn't have to contact her much because ..he had no idea how to contact her back and even if he could ..he was trained more in talking out loud! Come on!

Taking a deep breath he finally backed wing and hovered over the facility looking around spotting the closed gate and one of the flaming vehicles inside of the compound. Already there were vehicles moving to one of the other exists but it will take them longer to pick up pursuit. Narrowing his eyes he looked away glancing in the direction of the fire and out as far as he could before he disappears. (Sight teleport 8 left ).

Flaring his wings he let himself drop a bit before hovering again. Looking around and disappearing again (Sight teleport 7 left ) reappearing the same way and looking around, catching sight of Andy standing up on one of the cars. With a downward sweep of his wings he dropped a bit more before evening out and following, pulling shadows to him just to hide himself (Enshroud)

//....Andy is on the top of the car// he said hoping he did it right as he looked away toward the one on his motocycle. He noticing the familiar shape and coloring of the other Shadow meta and frowned. There was a hint of hesitation as the memory of how they meet came to the surface, someone shy who cared how he was viewed enough to ....easily try to erase someone's memory of the moment. Had that been his real self or this one after his test with Andy partially backfired? Did it matter right now?

He let out his breath softly, flying high above them as he looked for the place that would take the least amount of energy and cause the most amount of damage. He focused on the front wheel of the motorcycle and used his telekinisis to try and slow the wheel...in which case the back wheel going at its normal speed would heh...should have a fun effect. He grit his teeth as he put his focus on the wheel, his Enshroud very slowly dissipating as he put his full attention on the wheel.

In the distance 4 the cars from the facility headed toward them.
