Mara quietly sipped her coffee as she stared out a window at the courtyard below. She tapped her fingers on the table twice just staring blankly as she waited in an almost empty lounge area on a second floor, deciding to get rid of this mproblem now before it was allowed to foster since last night. She sent up for Kage a bit ago and was now just waiting.

Mara glanced over at him, her eyes lowering as she heard the soft snicker of the door closing, but there were a second pair of doors on the other end that were open.

"Kage" she said watching him enter the room with a smile that gave her a slight twinge of irritation, as if nothing had happen last night. She motioned to the chair in front of her, there was a coffeepot if he wanted to get some coffee as well and some vending machines. "Yes. I want to know what your problem is"

Marai looked at him expectantly when he sat across from her.Waiting for him to finally talk. When it seemed neither was going to she pushed forward, the twinge of annoyance growing at the clueless smile on his face. Pushing it away she focused at his red eyes surrounded by black. Something nay other humans would have found highly disturbing. "Last night. Andy" she said curtly and waited.

Mara gave him an unamused look. "I don't care what you and your left hand were doing last night. I want to talk to you about your behavior since you changed Andy's memories. Your irresponsible behavior. " she took another sip of her coffee. "What do you think about what you did last night. Now that Andy is not here"

"Oh ..wise words" she clapped and stopped. "Except your brain is to far into the future that it didn't know it died in the present" she said acidly. "At the moment the only obstacle between me and her is really yourself. " she said giving him a long glance.

"A manipulated love sick teenage boy. -Think- She woke up yesterday. This was a test for us to figure out the extent of your powers, not for you to wave it off as if you were a researcher, especially when one of your own tests was on yourself...which really doesn't count" she tried to keep the disdain from her voice, as a research center they had principles... trying to minimize the variables and well forgetting what you were trying to do really isn't very helpful.

"You are pitting her against us in these last few hours than we have barely done anything. Your assumptions and views are what is interfering . She wouldn't have even question the collar if not for you, nor would she had been outside again..if not for you. If she was scared, eventually she would have calmed down seeing as nothing will happen. It would have been because she was controlled by the inhibitors, so we wouldn't have reason to highly worried. " she sighed.

"As for spilling the beans.... the second part of this test is to test how well your manipulation has worked. Which involves telling her who she was..who she truly was and going on from there. This whole lying and hoping it doesn't come back and bite you is a waste of time. If it holds then I will continue trying to push for a type of sufferance.. if it doesn't. ' she shrugs. "The only unfortunate part is you place yourself to close to her memories right now. "

Mara looked faintly surprised at his words then frowned as she realized he seemed to finally be serious. She open her mouth to deny there being any history between them but stopped, that wasn't exactly true. While she may not have any literal history with her until recently, she had been around for many of the fall out that were caused by Andy and the other EE members.

"Keep that collar turned on and on her. Don't take her outside the facility or to restricted areas and i'll give you a few weeks. However when you tell her it will be with the rest of us there. There needs to be more separation between you and her, I don't want you to be the middle man." she shook her head. " The Andy of EE was murderous keniving, and manipulative... but she was also highly independent. Getting her to be only dependent on you won't be useful either "

Having another agent? She already had a few on the city keeping an eye for the two bounties that had attacked the metas on the street but an extra one wouldn't hurt. Plus it would allow her people to also watch Kage and give her an idea if he had not just be easily planted in Ree's path or just how he may act alone now. Suspicious...yes she has always been.

"Fine. You will also need some money. I will have you sign a temporary contract working for us. A trial period if you will. "Balancing the need between the SIU and the other part. "You will only observe not interfere.Tri will teach you some of the basics... Yes they are highly conspicuous but they have managed to do a few things despite that. " she narrowed her eyes at him, yes he was talking sense now but she didn't trust him yet..that will take time and action. Him avoiding Andy would be good for hm as well as her. "You might also want to check your actual feelings for her. We recently were able to name one of her powers...a passive form of desire. So ...who knows if what you feel really is true, but I will say this still. I don't care what you two do as long as it is willingly from both of you....this also means if she starts forcing herself on you as well you can tell me." Well that sounded better if there was no powers involved..... Oh well. But she felt the need to say it anyways after what they learned and Kage said earlier.

Mara nodded. "I don't think they would appreciate it." knowing Kage's way would be a little more permanent without being the lock&key user themselves. " They have their own way to control it. It is something a bit more obvious. Their wings mostly and that feather thing along the side of their head " she said calming down, wondering if for a moment he might have some idea or resource she had not heard of.

At the last part she just gave him a Look. She noticed the kiss they had before she stormed in on them last night, none of her business. Not like they even had to worry about things like the pure races did. "Just warning you. " she said getting up. "Three weeks. " she said taking her coffee cup now and looking back at him. "Then we all talk"
