-I Love a Rainy Night?-
Upon entering the class, the students are met with a message on the blackboard to meet Chervil outside in front of the garden. As they make their way outside, they are greeted by their teacher. To his left is what appears to be just about every piece of extra shrubbery and dead leaf that the gardeners had been collecting......for the last several years. To his right are several buckets full of water.
Smiling, Chervil addresses the class. "One may think that food and water are the primary things to address when one is found in a situation that calls for living off of the land. But neither of those will matter very much if you do not take care of your own body, and that involves making sure it is kept warm, kept dry, and given the ability to rest. All of those hinge on how effective your shelter is." He gestured to the pile of twigs, branches, moss and leaves beside him. "Everyone select any material that you wish and use it to make a shelter for yourself. When you are finished, let me know." He then gestured to the buckets. "I will provide the 'rain', and we will see if you will have a rainy night, or a dry night."
**Create a RP prompt of your character making their shelter (you can also add an optional pic if you wish), and roll a 6-sided dice to determine your shelter's structural soundness.**
1= You got soaking wet! Better get back to the drawing board if you don't want to catch a cold!
2-4=A few leaks here and there, but for the most part your shelter is dry.
5-6= Dry as a bone and snug as a Fluffbug! Fantastic job!
If you get a 1, you can try to patch up your shelter and roll a second time. Can You Stand the Rain?
