Opens: First day of the Month Closes: Last day of the Month, 11:59pm EST
Owning your Business
Owning a business is harder than it seems, I know this from personal and anecdotal experience, but one thing stays the same: You need to establish what your goals and core values are to run your business successfully. I want you to tell me what those goals and values are. What are the things that will drive you while you struggle?
Rules:
Post a small roleplay response with how your student replied to the prompt in 150 words. Repeats are okay.

Caramel smiled as he turned in his busniness card and waited to see what Cara thought of it.

Cara smiled as she glanced over the business card and handed it back to Caramel. "It's looking good! My only suggestion would be to add your bar's logo to it, just to help with marketing. But that's our next lesson," she added with a grin.
You passed!

Caramel hoped this subject wouldn't come up in reference to him starting his own bar, but he supposed it was always possible with all the different races around now a days. Caramel wrote down "I would research the race of the person I was meeting with, or maybe just study up on all races, to avoid any embarrassing mistakes." Caramel thought of other things he could add "Research of food and drink they prefer to help make them more comfortable in the meeting. As a fey I know how it feels to feel a little out of place in the Bellow, so I would want to make whoever I was meeting with as comfortable as possible. Caramel thought of the bar he wanted to open someday, he really needed to figure out what the favourite drinks of each race were so he could offer something for everyone. Caramel smiled at the thought, a comfortable spot for anyone to hang out.

Caramel felt really good about the test, he had been working really hard on all this business stuff, getting closer and closer to graduating from the university. Someday soon Caramel would open his own bar for real.

Sakurako smiled at her classmate as she sat down, she had studied the course book and she was pretty confident she would be able to pass the test without too much trouble.

Anora was a bit nervous since it had been a while since she'd been in school. She sat down, smoothing out her skirt and was a bit surprised to immediately be met with a test. Surprisingly, she actually did pretty well, which made her happy for future prospects. Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as thought it might be.

Caramel thought about the assignment he didn't assume that running his own bar would be easy, just on a baseline, he would have to apply for all the licenses that would be required to open his bar. Liquor license, license to sell food in a bar. He would need to get the funds for everything, from tables and seating. Bar table, kitchen items. Stove, any cooking equipment he would need. His goals, for now, were simple and yet then hardest things about reaching his dream, getting the money and items he needed to make his bar a reality. As for values, Caramel wanted to build a clean comfortable place where seniors could come and relax have a drink and food. Talk to each other, perhaps meet someone special. Caramel wanted to be that ear that people could tell their problems to as he stood behind the bar cleaning drinking glasses. Caramel had everything clear in his mind and he felt like he was almost there.
