Because I like to encourage RP as much as possible I've decided to do a monthly RP Giveaway to reward everyone for their hard work and time with a chance to win new pretties. Never fear if your a newbie...there is a way for you to participate as well, check out the rules below!
Rules
1: This is a free giveaway (Raffle) and counts towards your monthly freebie. If you've already won a freebie this month you can't enter and if you happen to win a freebie before this closes then please post here so I can remove you from the list.
2: In order to 'earn' your ticket you must post the form below with a link to an RP post you have made this month. the post must be at least a couple of sentences long - I won't accept one liner RP posts.
3: If you are a Soquili newbie and have 0 familiars or co-owned Soquili with whom you have RP rights then you can post a reply to the prompt below with a made up pony. (Note - Only people with zero RPable pets in the shop can use this option - if you have Soquili or familiars then you have to RP them to earn your ticket.)
4: You have until the end of the month to make an RP post and post your entry.

Roleplaying tips and tricks for those who have trouble coming up with Character or plot ideas.
Never judge a book by it's cover - its one of the first social lessons most parents try to instill in their children, the idea that we should give people a chance to prove who they are without judgement. It's a nice thought, but reality isn't always nice and I think we are all guilty of judging one another at first glance at least once in a while.
This tendency can play out well in RP plots, you can have a character constantly striving to do away with the judgement placed upon then, trying to prove that even though they look menacing they are ,within, kind and good or a character that might use this judgement against you, do they look sweet and innocent? Perhaps they are ... or maybe they will just use that to lure you into a false sense of security. In Soquili society Kalona are generally considered 'bad' and unicorn's are generally 'good' ..however the two individual's above seem to be at odds with these descriptions. Is the Kalona really good, going against her breed stereotype? Or is she evil and manipulative - using her gentler looks to prey upon her victims. What about the unicorn? Is he as dark and terrible as his markings and coloring might imply or is he really a white knight in dark clothing, struggling to prove that he is more then his outward appearance?
Such controversy about a character can be a valuable tool in RP, it can give a character a goal in life - to over come whatever challenges their appearance might give them, it can help mold their personalities, are they bitter about their looks? Or do they embrace it? ... Or perhaps embracing themselves for who they are is light at the end of this Soquilis lifelong journey through RP. It's really up to you to decide!
