"Change is coming to the world. Many fear change, and will fight it with every fiber of their being. But, sometimes, change is what they need most. Change is what sets them free."

+ Name: Elenore Abendritter + Nickname(s): Lenore + Birthday: October 31st + Age: Fifteen + Gender: Female + Sexual Orientation: Zinsexual + Physical Description: Lenore wears grey glasses to help deal with her vision that started failing while she was in training. She has ruby red eyes and short black hair styled like this.
+ Likes: Reading, Sarcasm and other snarkiness, Being with her friends + Dislikes: People who threaten her friends, Wallists, Dissent amongst friends
+ Affiliation: Training Squad
+ Personality: Lenore is very sarcastic and, other than books, loves little more than showing off her razor sharp tongue. No one, not even the girl herself, knows where she picked up her tendency for sarcasm, but she's had it for as long as she can remember.
Lenore's first love has always been and will always be literature. Her love of books stemmed from the fact that her parents were hardly ever around due to their Scouting missions, and so she turned to books to pass the time. Immersing herself in countless other worlds, the girl rarely spent time with other children. It never mattered to her what genre the books were, or even if they were nonfiction or fiction. She just loved to read. Nowadays, she spends most of the wages not spent on essentials upon books. That is, assuming that she remembered to buy the essentials before spending all of her earnings upon books.
It's unclear if Lenore is unaware of social normalities, or if she simply doesn't care about them. Whatever the case, the girl is constantly getting in trouble for not thinking about what she's saying before she says it.
Lenore is fond of occasionally getting lost in thought and giving voice to abstract ideas about man, the universe, and other things that thoroughly confuse people. She's very deadpan, and it's actually rarer that she'll sound sincere. It's rare that Lenore will hate anyone, but it's just as rare that she'll like someone, too. She's very passive about others, and it takes something special for her to acknowledge someone as a 'friend'. Despite her passivity, however, when Lenore has her heart set on something, she is incredibly difficult to deter. Lenore's sense of humor is often fairly dark.
As far as the military goes, Lenore doesn't really care either way about it. It's there, and that's about as much thought she gives it. Even though her parents were in, and died for, the Scouting Legion, she feels no particular need to avenge them by joining up, nor does she feel any want to avoid it.
+ Background: Lenore's parents were members of the Scouting Legion, and as a result spent most of their time on missions, leaving the girl alone in the house. One day, however, they simply didn't return from their mission. The girl never asked why; it was obvious what had happened. The then-nine-year-old girl was taken in by her aunt, who tried her hardest to get used to her niece's callous demeanor. However, when Lenore was eleven, she implied that her parents killed themselves because the aunt nagged too much, and was subsequently banished from the household.
She moved back into her old home and has lived there alone ever since. Forced to fend for herself, Lenore got an apprenticeship at the local bookstore due to her great love for literature. She began to spend most of her wages on books, even to the detriment of her own body. Even at the store, however, she remains deadpan and rarely smiles, much to the displeasure of the owner. She is, however, an excellent employee, usually able to recommend books to customers based on their interests, and so he tends to look past her blank expressions. Nevertheless, however, he is constantly trying to get her to open herself up to others, usually in vain.
