Year 2014

Peace has reigned over all three realms for far too long. Though skirmishes did happen between existing factions every now and then, none were serious enough to be tagged as a full-blown war, but things may change with the return of the Quincies, spiritually aware humans that had barely pulled themselves out of extinction, and the birth of Arrancars, Hollows in human skins with incredible powers. While the 3 super powers were busy glowering at each other, a smaller group of humans, Fullbringers they call themselves, are slowly making their presence known for their activity in the spiritual community of the livings and their increasing manpower and spiritual powers.

Greetings from Las Noches - Ended

Location: Sokyoku Hill, Twelfth Division The Biome Entrance Grounds, First Division Gardens, The Streets of Seireitei, Northern District of Hororeiroji and Karakura General Hospital
An offensive was launched by the Arrancars to wreck havoc among the Shinigami lines. Seireitei had been under attack, but something was also happening in Rukongai. In fact, the Seireitei invasion was merely a diversion with the purpose of ripping part of Rukongai into shreds much like what had been done to Komugichiku. The Shinigamis were, unfortunately, not capable of stopping the process in time and lost a large amount of Reishi to Hueco Mundo. This gave the Arrancars enough power to strengthen their ranks, but what this may do to the balance of the worlds still remains to be seen. One silver lining to this invasion was the capture of the Primera Espada.


Returning to One's Roots - Ended

Location: Komugichiku
A team of Arrancars was sent to the remains of Komugichiku despite the large amount of humans in the area. They were tasked with the retrieval of the tools used to create the fourth-generation Arrancars. Unfortunately, they were met with some resistance from an influential man that had the military fire at them. Provoked, they lashed out, but retreated with their objective just after two Shinigami captains' arrival. Seeing the immediate threat of Arrancars gone, the two Shinigamis promptly left for Soul Society to help fend off the invasion. All of this had happened under the watchful gaze of a cocky man emitting an unusual large amount of Reiatsu.

Dancing with the Devils - Ended

Meanwhile, things were getting rowdy in Las Noches. The initial tremor caused by usage of Komugichiku had weakened the cell that had been imprisoning an ancient Arrancar. The Espadas sent to investigate the leaking Reiatsu had, in good old deranged Hollow ways, released the being simply to entertain themselves. The three creatures fought in the bowels of Las Noches Palace even after the return of the Cera Espada and the group of not-humans. The Fullbringers had both suffered a terrible lost and a great gain: they lost one of their elders, but their leader had gained a new power, one that was greater than even a mastered Fullbring. Eager to test her new powers and prove her worth, the woman accepted the task of subduing the three fighting Arrancars before they destroyed the foundations of the large palace. The ancient Arrancar managed escape, but not before a tracker was planted on his zanpakuto, making one wonder if his escape had been something that had been planned beforehand.

Strife - Ended

Location: Downtown Karakura
What appears to be Quincies are fighting in broad daylight in Karakura! The humans have been kept at bay for the most part, but some important figures of the Wandenreich have appeared. It would seem that none other than the successor of Wandenreich had decided to intervene and put a stop to this ridiculous skirmish. Unfortunately, she was abducted by a group of Quincies. There seems to be some conflict among their ranks. Perhaps it is time to regroup.

See Not, Hear Not, Speak Not - Ended

Location: Jigokuchu Cages, Desolate Cages, District 78: Inuzuri
Hell Butterflies are dropping dead left and right! The Gotei 13's main means of communication has been disabled. What's more, because they need the small critters to travel to the human realm, all Senkaimons have been sealed off! To make matters worst, some sort of wormhole had popped up in Rukongai and, though the invading Hollows had been slayed, a captain and vice captain have crossed over to Hueco Mundo to inspect it.

It took a while, but Division 12 triumphed in fixing their communication issues along with the arrival of a fresh, newly hatched batch of Jigokucho. No words concerning the fate of the brave Shinigamis that had crossed over to the land of Hollows have been heard.

Journey to the Edge of a World - Ended

Location: Genesis Chamber, Eternal Dunes of Hueco Mundo,[N]Forest of Stone
In an effort to tie loose ends, a party from Las Noches left for the Forest of Stone, a natural formation of Sekkiseki stone where many natural Arrancars lived in hiding. A chance encounter earned them a new soldier in a rekindled relationship, but their roughhousing may have damaged something that should have never be tampered with.

Something is carelessly damaging the Karakura. Division Seven has gone to investigate the strange being and put a stop to its rampage.
