CHARLOTTE  INFO:________Age: 18 Height: 5 feet/1.5m Weight: RUDE RP Color: Boring ol' Black Hair: Short, natural ginger Eyes: Brown Skin tone: Tan Build: Athletic, with big hips Likes: Pokemon (duh), nature, bright colors, hoodies, cooking, baked goods, making friends Dislikes: Being cooped up indoors, seeing sad Pokemon, people too aloof and distant, her awkwardness, bitter Berries Family: Mother and Father, still residing comfortably in her hometown Hometown: Sunyshore City Bio: From a young age, Charlotte was expected to work. Her parents often sold homemade food at the Sunyshore Market, and she always helped them out. She didn't mind having to help run the register, but her favorite part was when she got to go out and help gather up berries and other ingredients for cooking. Wild Pokemon were plentiful around the nearby Lake Valor, and Charlotte loved to play with them. Though she always wanted one of her own, she and her family were much too busy to properly take care of any - besides, one would just eat up all of their food and leave them broke! As Charlotte got older, more and more of her friends left to pursue their own adventures. Her parents realized this and decided to do what was best for their daughter. On her 15th birthday, they told Charlotte that she could retire from the family business and go on a journey if she so wished. She was ecstatic at the news and immediately packed up as much as she could carry. Bidding her parents goodbye (but not without promising she'd keep in touch), she headed for the newly-discovered Zatao region, ready to start her adventure with a bang. Since then, she's made many Pokemon friends while exploring the region, and continues to look forward to each new day. Personality: Charlotte's usually quite bubbly and is always willing to help, especially if it means getting to go out to new and/or faraway places. She's a bit shy with people and as such can come off kind of weird, but her sincerity usually shines through. She believes in Pokemon and that good will always prevail, and as such can fall into despair when things go poorly. It doesn't take much for her optimism to return, though - it's just her natural state of mind. Misc. Info: Despite liking bright and fun colors, her fashion usually consists of hoodies or big fluffy coats when it gets cold. She rents a small flat in Katarina, which she pays with by battling or selling goods that she learned to make... or by calling her parents to bail her out. GLACE   INFO:________Species: Glaceon Gender: Male Nature: Quirky Impetuous and silly. Happily eats anything. RP color: BlueSpecialty: Companion Likes: Food, adventures, playing, meeting new people, highly dangerous activities Dislikes: Rudeness, meanness, hot weather, a distinct lack of food Family: Unknown... he forgot Homeland: The Moteore Freezelands History: Glace doesn't remember much previous from being captured, except that he lived in the icy regions of Zatao, where times were tough and food was hard to come by. One day, he stumbled upon an abandoned stash of supplies left by some clumsy trainer... that smelled delicious! He grabbed it and tried to get away, but as he turned the corner, he was greeted by a barrage of Poke Balls. Somehow, the one that managed to hit him was thrown by a timid little trainer named Charlotte. After that, he found himself in a much warmer climate, and although it was uncomfortable to cope with, he had all the food he could possibly dream of. He eventually got used to the increase in temperature, and he's currently happy as can be. Personality: Glace's personality can be compared to that of a household dog. He's hyper, giddy, happy, and always willing to play play play. You can get him to do anything, especially if you offer him food (Poffins are his FAVORITE!). He's very loyal and trustworthy, almost too much so, and although he really only understands attack commands from Charlotte, he thinks she's a pretty cool person. After all, she feeds him, and someone who gives him food can't be a bad person at all. VITESSE   INFO:________Species: Rapidash Gender: Male Nature: Bold Somewhat vain. Likes Sour food. RP color: RedSpecialty: Companion Likes: Himself (oh boy), other half-shinies, running, winning (battles or just anything in general), showing off, belittling others Dislikes: Non-shinies since he is greater than them, shinies since they're greater than him, losing, water, any sort of criticism, basically anyone who doesn't practically worship him Family: He only knows of his non-shiny Rapidash mother and nothing of his father (who must be shiny) Homeland: Pilkiras Plain History: In his natural habitat, Vitesse was one of the extreme few who actually had a shiny recessive gene, causing his legfire to blaze a bright blue. Naturally, all the other pokemon praised him and viewed him as a supreme beauty amongst them. Although his mother attempted to discipline him, he didn't care - not only did he not respect her due to her normalness, but the other pokemon loved him so much that they let him do whatever he wanted. He could run where he wanted, take what he wanted, and nobody would say a thing - someone blessed with such beautiful fire should be allowed to do as they please, they figured. One night, Charlotte and her partner Glace were exploring Zatao's plains, hunting for berries to cook and eat. Sunnie had just picked the last Sitrus Berry from the bush, when out of nowhere she was tackled by something moving at tremendous speed, sending the berries in her basket flying out. When she finally managed to get up, she found Glace wrestling with a ponyta... with blue flames?! She couldn't resist the opportunity, and she hurled out a pokeball towards it, catching it. "What a rude Pokemon..." she thought. "Maybe I can teach it a thing or two about being nice!" But with such vainness, will it be possible? Personality: If "full of self" was a phrase in the dictionary, you'd find Vitesse's picture right there in it. Since he was so spoiled in the wild, he expects the same exact treatment from domesticated pokemon... and their trainers. He just can't handle it when he doesn't get his way - he'll scream and yell and just throw an angry tantrum until finally someone gives in. Although he's self-centered, he does enjoy letting loose at times - he loves nothing better than running freely through fields and feeling the wind rush around him. And if he somehow got over himself, then who knows what he'd be like on the inside? RP color: Green Specialty: Battle Likes: Nature, quiet, being alone, self-reflection, deep thinking, order and reason... but also being able to let loose and go insane Dislikes: Overly loud surroundings, nosy people/Pokemon, hectic activities, total chaos (unless he's in one of those moods) Family: His mother is deceased, like that of most wild Cubone. He never knew his father. Homeland: Rinaul Mountains History: Goji spent a great deal of his life in a state of despair. With no parents, he had to raise himself completely on his own. He learned that the world can be cruel to young Pokemon, and thus avoided others as much as he could. This was especially hard due to the fact that his rare color scheme often attracted unwanted attention. As a result, he became violently enraged whenever directly confronted, both to defend himself and to keep everyone away. It worked... but also left him feeling incredibly lonely and sad. One day, he had enough of his own ways - he had to find some sort of company to make his life worth living. He traveled long and far out of the mountains to the valley below. There he saw a sweet-looking human girl out on a picnic with her two Pokemon. Seeing her doting on them convinced Goji that she would treat him with kindness, he approached the group. Charlotte knew a shiny Pokemon when she saw one, and was quite excited when Goji walked right up in front of her. When she saw tears in his eyes, however, her heart melted. "Don't worry little guy, I'll make sure you won't be sad..." she said to him softly. "I'll take good care of you!" With that, she captured him in a Poke Ball. Goji hasn't regretted his decision since, even if the rest of Charlotte's Pokemon have come extremely close to setting him off. He couldn't have asked for a better trainer. Personality: While significantly less depressed, Goji still retains much of the personality he had in the wild. Introverted would be the single best word to describe him - he prefers to be by himself when not with Charlotte. It takes patience to get him to converse, as bothering him too much too soon will infuriate him. When he does, it's usually about whatever is on his mind, which tends to be deep or gloomy. On rare occasions (or to avoid needlessly attacking whatever is annoying him), he enjoys to vent his frustrations through a nice good battle. Though he is odd to many other Pokemon, he is a loyal and lifelong friend to those who can appreciate his behavior. AILE   INFO:________Species: Altaria Gender: Male Nature: Jolly Somewhat stubborn. Likes Sweet food. RP color: SkyBlueSpecialty: Companion Likes: Hugs, cuddles, singing, sunshine, helping others, feeling useful Dislikes: Darkness, despair, most every negative emotion, being alone, seeing others in some sort of plight Family: His mother and father are both Alterias that live out in the wild. He goes to visit them sometimes. Homeland: Xine's Peak History: Compared to some of Charlotte's other Pokemon, Aile's life in the wild was fairly standard. He was raised by his parents and had many flying Pokemon friends. Life was overall quite good, and even when it wasn't, his cheery optimism got him through any situation. While searching for berries, a certain young trainer came across him and decided that he was quite the cute Swablu. With a lucky Pokeball throw, he was her new companion. Aile is glad that he has such a nice trainer that he can do so much for as well as see so many other Pokemon to make friends with. Yay! Personality: Aile is as bright and sunny as the tips of his feathers might suggest. He is happy pretty much all the time, sometimes obnoxiously so. Some Pokemon find him overbearing with how social he is and how much he wants to help others. If he decides that someone looks sad or in trouble, he won't rest until he's made them feel better with a kind word or a hug. This has gotten him yelled at or hit a few times, but he remains largely unphased - even if someone insists that they don't need him or want him around, he'll check back later. He just wants everyone to be happy! FEUILLE   INFO:________Species: Leafeon Gender: Female Nature: Timid Quick to flee. Likes Sweet food. RP color: SaddleBrownSpecialty: Show Likes: Quiet, being out in nature, easy-going people/Pokemon, casual meetups with friends, contests Dislikes: Conflict, being the center of attention (most of the time), battles, shallow people/Pokemon, those that don't appreciate beauty Family: Had Eevee parents, but their location is unknown Homeland: Seatence Valley History: Feuille got a lot of unwanted attention as a youngster. As an Eevee, she was not too unusual, but one day she played too close to a strange mossy rock and evolved into a Leafeon. To the shock of everyone, her brown-and-white coloring carried over to her new form instead of changing. As such, all the other Pokemon in the valley constantly followed her around to gawk. She hated the attention, and often tried to run away and hide from her peers so that they'd stop staring. Unfortunately, she eventually ran into a couple of shady "trainers," who caught her and decided to put her on display at the local winter festival. Charlotte loved a good festival and was there the day Feuille arrived. She marveled at the beautiful Leafeon, but was saddened to see the sheer amount of terror in her eyes. One look at the trainers was all she needed to see that they only cared about money and not Pokemon. Though she hated to give the men any kind of profit, Charlotte forked over an exorbitant amount of cash to the trainers and bought her. It was the only way to make sure she didn't stay in the custody of someone cold and unfeeling. Since then, Charlotte has taken great care of Feuille, pampering her and telling her what a great Pokemon she is (and not just because she looks different). Seeing that she wasn't much of a battler, she trained her for Pokemon contests instead, hoping to boost her strength and confidence in a way that wasn't so scary. Personality: Feuille is quite skittish, and will often run away from anything that approaches her too strongly. She dislikes it when others only like her for her colors as most have done in the past. Anyone that can appreciate her for who she is - a gentle, sweet and caring soul - can win her trust much more easily. While not fond of being on-stage, Feuille loves Pokemon contests because she can show off her pretty moves without the intensity of a truly competitive battle. Though she dislikes it, she'll spar with Pokemon she's grown to like. AZUL   INFO:________Species: Bibarel Gender: Female Nature: Sassy A little quick tempered. Likes Bitter food. RP color: TurqoiseSpecialty: Battle Likes: BATTLES, anything with competition, athletic activities, practical jokes, being a troublemaker Dislikes: Boring/lazy/inactive Pokemon, being bored, talking first and battling later, having to be overly nice to anyone Family: Her family is her tribe! Homeland: Felicity Island History: Azul lived her whole life with her tribe of Bidoof/Bibarel under the rule of the Bibarel King. Life was hard, but good - she was somewhat known for her feisty attitude and picking fights with her fellow kin. You had to be tough to make it on the island, after all. Even if she was a bit of a bully to the weaker members, she never backed down from any challenges (and was often the one to issue them in the first place). Her spunk was admired, and she earned herself a few awards for it, which she wears on her face and around her neck. When the S.S. Extrasensory hit the coast of the island, it was the first time she had ever seen a human before. Not wanting her perfect island home to get ruined, she joined the others in her tribe to attack the trainers and generally cause them great misery. Eventually, the humans prevailed, and Azul watched in awe as her King fell to the might of the trainers and their Pokemon. What strength! These Pokemon weren't like the ones she saw on her island, and not just because they weren't Bidoofs - their skill put them in a whole league of their own! Much like many of her brethren did, Azul ran alongside the trainers heading back to their ship. She caught up with a young trainer and her Glaceon and grabbed onto her backpack, eager to start a new life battling all sorts of Pokemon. Charlotte couldn't say no to such a sweet little Bidoof, especially one so excited to be with her, so she happily welcomed her onto her team. After journeying and battling with Charlotte for several months, Azul evolved into a strong and formidable Bibarel. Though she's fully grown, she still pushes herself to be a mighty fighting champion. Personality: Those who are overly sensitive may want to stay away from Azul - she's bold and says what's on her mind, if she even stops to talk first before leaping headfirst (sometimes literally) into a battle. She has little time for Pokemon who won't battle and would much rather hang out with ones who she can do something with, and then maybe talk a bit when she's done exhausting herself. As such, while she might have a lot of casual battle friends, it takes longer for her to make an emotional connection. For those who can take more than a few punches, a strong-willed, encouraging and honest friend awaits. MARA   INFO:________Species: Drifloon Gender: Female Nature: Naughty Hates to lose. Likes Spicy food. RP color: IndigoSpecialty: Companion Likes: Quiet, nighttime, keeping to herself, light breezes, open skies, children Dislikes: Talking, losing, windstorms, obnoxious people/pokemon, dense forests, being pulled around Family: A group of Drifloons/Drifblims in the forests Homeland: Howling Forest History: Mara, like many other drifloons, was formed from the wandering spirits of people and pokemon combining together. As such, she doesn't have much of a concept of "parents," but she did grow up in a group of others just like her. Together, they floated through the forests, lightly terrorizing any trainers that happened to cross them. She attempted to kidnap children, as her species tends to do, but she could never drag them into the spirit world. She spent a lot her of time infuriated because of this and the fact that she was always bumping into trees (she never got the whole "ghost" thing down perfectly pat, either). After returning from her trip to Felicity Island, Charlotte craved more adventure. She went into the spooky Howling Forest and encountered upon Mara's pack. Coincidentally, Mara had decided that she was just about fed up with constant failure and obstacles in her way, and decided to join the first trainer she saw. It was almost as if fate had brought her and Charlotte together. Now, she trains to get stronger and evolve, even if she can barely tolerate the bumps along that road. Personality: Mara makes a point not to talk unless absolutely, undeniably necessary. Many of Charlotte's other pokemon have never even heard her voice. She highly prefers peace, quiet, and tranquility - anything else just makes her mad, and she's not above angrily bopping someone on the head for ruining her mood. She really only prefers to spend her time being around others that can enjoy another's company without really conversing. Some would say that they can't even tell if she enjoys herself or not around others, but they're just not reading her very well.
