Rolled a three: Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks.

Kytti entered the arena and smiled down at her Deerling at her side. Willow bleated happily and took her place on the field as her trainer took her place in the trainer box.

Taking her place in the Stadium, Charlotte smiled down at the field. She always thought the Grass one was quite lovely - almost too much so for a Pokemon battle to be held in it. "Ready to give it your all, Mara?" She said to the Drifloon floating behind her. With a little nod, Mara floated down towards her opponent, hovering delicately above the grass.

"Alright, time to start this off!" Charlotte exclaimed. "Mara, use Gust!"
The Drifloon floated over to her opponent and released a harsh burst of air, causing grass and pollen to fly up in a frenzied haze.

Hit by the gust, Willow sparked to life. Electricity crackled around her and she charged in wildly towards the pokemon.

Mara was caught completely off-guard by the powerful attack - she was knocked senseless by the intense force, and plummeted to the ground.
"Oh no!!" Charlotte screamed. What an attack! If only Mara was more experienced... "Come on, you can do it! Try Gust again!"
After the shock of the attack wore off, Mara floated back up into the sky. With a few flips and twirls in the air, she flew straight for Willow.

Though the attack still hurt, it wasn't nearly as bad as the one before it. Mara was able to recover more quickly, and returned the favor with a harsh Gust attack.

Mara must be starting to improve at battling, for she was able to simply drift away from Willow's attack. She countered it by spinning around and around in the air and hurdling straight for her.

Struck by the aerial attack, Willow bleated angrily. She raced towards the opponent, electricity crackling more than ever.

Hit again by the electric attack, Mara shook off the lingering static. She was getting tired of this - surely one of her attacks would start hitting for heavier damage! She blew out a heavy, frustrated sigh in the form of a Gust attack.
