Rolled a One: Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks.

Kytti entered the arena and a chill came across her. She smiled down at her Deerling and happily said, "We can do this Girl, just watch your footing."
The Deerling nodded once, bleated softly, and took her spot on the field, careful to not slip.

Charlotte entered the stadium and immediately began to shiver. "Brrr!! I knew I should have worn a coat today..." She threw out her Pokeball and released Goji onto the field. "This shouldn't be too hard for you, but still, be careful!"

Willow stared at the Cubone and bleated. She drew in the power of the flowers on her head and built up a small emerald ball and arced it towards the pokemon. A misty green trail followed behind the attack.
"Great choice Girl!" Kytti cheered, happy her Deerling learned to decide on her moves to use.

Goji felt the life being sucked out of him as the green ball hit - luckily, it wasn't as strong of an attack as it could have been.
"Eek, that attack could be dangerous... Better hit her back with something harder! Rock Smash!"
Smashing his club into the icy ground, Goji sent rubble and chunks of ice hurdling towards Willow.

The rocks smashed down on Willow and she struggled free. She built up another emerald ball and arced it towards the Cubone. Another green misty trail followed from the ball.

The energy orb smashed into Goji with great ferocity - now that was as strong as an attack as it could've been! He stumbled about, dazed from the energy he lost as a result of it.
"Crap! That was intense!" Charlotte cried. "I guess we'll just have to go deeper into your movepool to find something good to counter it with... hmm... I know! Use Blizzard!"
Goji shook off the shock from the previous attack and regained focus. Using his club, he repeatedly smashed the ground and ice pillars around him, causing a ferocious storm of ice chunks to fly in the air around his opponent.

The green mist hit Goji with tremendous force, knocking him to the ground. This Deerling was strong... much stronger than he had anticipated. He didn't know how many more attacks he could take...
"And here I said this would be easy..." Charlotte said softly. "There's still hope! Try and freeze her in her tracks!"
Goji nodded, and again used his club to unleash an icy blast. This time, he hoped it was enough to keep her still for a while.

That was all Goji could take - with the final blow from Giga Drain, he fell on his knees, propping himself up with his club. He looked up at his opponent with tired eyes. "Though I have lost, I have learned much... Thank you."
Charlotte ran towards her Pokemon, careful not to slide on the ice, and returned him to his ball. "Well, luck certainly wasn't on my side that time," she said with a sigh. "Thanks for the battle, though! It was intense while it lasted!"
