Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Lenore walked into the stadium, Mephistopheles at her side. Pulling a pokeball from her pocket, she threw it into the canyon before her. With a burst of red light, Sheoldred appeared on the rocky cliff face, blood dripping from her body.

It's been a long time since Charlotte last stepped into the stadium. Excitedly, she threw out a Pokeball, letting Glace out onto the field. "This is our first battle in a while, Glace! Let's hope you're not too rusty!" She gave a cheerful wave out to Lenore. "May the best trainer win!"

Lenore nodded toward the older trainer. "Alright, Sheoldred, let's start with a tackle." The caterpie nodded, and the blood congealed into two whip-like shapes. Sheoldred launched herself with astounding speed at the glaceon.

Glace side-stepped out of the Caterpie's way, making sure not to fall off into the canyon below. "Good job, Glace!" cheered Charlotte. "Now try and Bite it!"
Slightly grimacing at the thought of tasting blood, Glace charged at Sheoldred with his mouth open, ready to clamp down.

Sheoldred was bitten, the blood hardening like a shell to protect her. "Use Electroweb, Sheoldred." The caterpie sent a charged webbing at the glaceon.

Glace yelped as he made contact with the web and hurriedly brushed it off his face. "Eek, that looked like it hurt!" Charlotte squealed. "Hmm, alright... Try using Ice Fang!"
Opening his jaw to reveal icy fangs, the Pokemon leaped at his opponent.

The blood shell froze, becoming brittle. Sheoldred wriggled her way out of the glaceon's mouth before firing another bit of webbing.

Glace winced at the attack and jumped away from the Caterpie. Sick of the taste of blood, he charged forward with a Tackle.
"Well, I was gonna suggest that anyway..." Charlotte mumbled.

The blood wrapped around the glaceon even as Sheoldred was knocked back. The caterpie rocketed towards Glace.

Anyone who walked in right now would think that these Pokemon had been involved in a brutal murder of some sort. "Man, Glace, you're going to need a bath after this..." sighed Charlotte. "Try Tackling again!"
Glace shook off some of the blood coating his fur and rushed towards the Caterpie.

Glace charged again, hoping he'd get a ton of poffins after having to endure a match like this.
