Welcome to my collection of Maneki Neko and Spirit Guides.
There is some basic personality information on each of them, as well as a list of any and all RPs they've been involved in. Their banners link to their cert.
Currently looking for RP and breeding partners for: Faendal, Shil'Ta, and Ranza.
Note that I am always willing to discuss potential breeding partnerships!
I mostly like brown pets (as you can see!) although I also like green- especially dark green- white, and- to a lesser extent- orange and dark red. I also prefer more interesting fur patterns. However, I won't rule any pet out just because they're not what I would normally choose- feel free to talk to me in the main thread about any you're interested in breeding!

Breeding artists may be interested in the fact that I've listed the nearest biological relations where applicable- and will list more distant ones in the event that I acquire Maneki Neko from a breeding where I don't own one of the parents.

She is a thoughtful Maneki Neko, who likes to consider
all angles of a situation.
She is intelligent, but her thoughtful nature can make
her seem distracted, distant, or absent minded.
However, she is empathetic and caring.
She lives with a caring and considerate human artist.

Faendal is a bit of a scoundrel, but a pleasant one.
He's charming and warm, and enjoys the company of others whilst he has it.
However, he takes nothing for granted, and doesn't
assume any of the luck he has today will last until tomorrow.
He lives alone, and is a thief when necessary.
Although it's the only life he's known, he would not have chosen it;
and often sees the need to steal as an unpleasant necessity.
Because he didn't exactly have plentiful food growing up,
he is smaller and lighter than average.

He is a dashing rogue, a charming scoundrel,
and a silver-tongued thief.
He steals less from any real need, and more from the pleasure of it.
Regardless, Shil'Ta is not selfish or overly greedy.
He's mischievous, playful,
and his charm is natural and genuine.
He's larger and heavier-set than average,
although not to any highly abnormal level.
He was raised by a human who was regularly away,
which is how he learned to look after himself.

Herenya is a slightly spoiled, but generally good-natured, individual.
She has little social experience and is somewhat
unsure of herself when it comes to conversation;
however, she doesn't stress over it much.
She is laid-back and calm.
She lives with a rather wealthy human who
ensures she always has the best, and spends
a lot of time reading classical literature to her.
This... may have altered her perception of "normal."

Ranza is bright, intelligent, and lively.
He loves new things, new experiences, and
places he can sit, think, and absorb new ideas.
Although he's mentally mature, he comes
across as quite young, sometimes having an
almost kittenish energy and curiosity.
Ranza lives with a hard-working shop keeper, who
encourages his keen mind- although unable to
share in his love of thinking and knowledge.

Raumo is an adventurous, lively individual who
loves to roam, see new sights, and find joy in life.
Unusual for his kind, he doesn't mind getting wet,
and loves thunder storms and the occasional swim.
Being wet once the joy is over, however,
tends to dampen his fun...
The human who originally raised him was not long for this world,
and he now travels between three or four families;
all of whom are happy to share in his energy, charm,
and the good luck that he seems to bring in with him.

Relationships:
Nao is a younger Maneki Neko whom Raumo met as a kitten. The two have established a good friendship, and although Nao's youth stops Raumo from seeing him as being a full equal, that doesn't alter his behaviour.

Kallo is a cautious Maneki Neko,
who is willing to make acquaintances,
but slow to make friends.
He is thoughtful and logical,
and his desire to keep others at range
is, to him, in line with this.
Beneath his caution, however, he is warm, passionate and caring.
The human who originally took him home
proved herself to be quite simply unworthy
of the honour. Since his leaving, he has
managed to look after himself perfectly well-
often with the help of more worthwhile humans.

Personality: Heskil is bright, warm, and compassionate.
She loves to bring joy to those around her,
dedicating her life to bringing warmth and light to others
during the cold winter months.
This means she spends a lot of time travelling-
although she seldom does so without assistance.
Her abnormal appearance comes with inconveniences.
She is entirely reliant on others for food and shelter,
and she can't get around as other Maneki Neko do.
She's fairly accepting of these traits, however.
Human: Heskil's figurine was a gift to the
leader of a temple in a snowy, mountainous region.
He hoped it would bring luck to the small settlement nearby
as well as his temple.
His hope was realised in a much greater way than he could imagine,
and Heskil is more the Maneki Neko of the settlement,
rather than of him and his temple.
Alignment: Heskil is attuned to Yuletide,
and that shapes much of her personality and what she does.
She is like a fire in a dark, cold night;
like a feast in a time of shortage;
and she embodies the reminder that no matter how dark and cold the winter,
there is always hope and warmth to be found.
She is able to bring warmth, comfort, and cheer
to even the most dejected soul,
and can literally warm those who have become chilled.
