He knew it the instant he let his eyes stray from that troublesome grey neko that he shouldn't have done it. It had only been for a few minutes, but obviously, a few minutes was plenty of time for Oashu to escape his watch. And now? Now he was stuck hunting the fur ball down before he got himself into any trouble, because it was bound to happen. The longer he was without proper guidance, the greater that trouble was just going to end up being. The last time had been completely decimated curtains. This time, he would rather not see the fruits of his charge's labor.
"When I get my paws onto him he will wish he was still a kitten for causing me this trouble." Oh yes, mark his words, Dai was annoyed. And it was really his own fault, too. He knew the trouble that Oashu could get into on his own and what did he do? Turn away and give the perfect opportunity for an escape. Perhaps he should have fully bonded to the ball of fuzz when he'd been younger, but he hadn't known just how badly Oashu would need to be watched. If anything it would at least let him have an idea where to start looking now to track him down again though to drag him back home! At least the park itself was pleasant though, there wasn't a need to get too worried yet when it was nice out. Right? Right, he could start worrying in five minutes.

The pleasant weather had drawn Raush- like so many others- to the park. Although starting to get late in the air, and starting to have that chill late in the day that spoke of coming frosts, right now the weather seemed determined to remind everyone of summer. And how could Raush be expected to be immune to such, when it seemed nobody else was?
So that was how he ended up where he was- in the park, crowded with those who were determined to make the most of the fading warmth. He payed the others around him little mind, however- used to being solitary, he made his way through the park, watching the occasional breeze send the earliest fallen leaves skudding through the grass or along the paths.
On flew directly into his face and he startled back, letting out a little huff of surprise and shaking his heavy, maned head. Upon seeing it flutter away from his muzzle, however, he was seized by a playful impulse and snapped at it.
A breeze, seeming to taunt him, caught it away from him at the last minute and he gave chase, trying to catch that one particular leaf which had offended him among the others also skittering in the breeze.
