Tea: Dragonfruit ~ There is an almost delicate sweetness to the taste that makes one feel lulled into a relaxed state of mind.Hypnotism // Illusion ★ Lycander's magic is mainly focused on illusion and mild hypnotism. With his hypnotism, he is able to create an almost false sense of security within an individual, lowering the inhibitions place on oneself. This tends to result in the individual under his hypnosis to have slower reaction times as their mind keeps trying to tell them to relax, that nothing of an urgent nature is demanding their attention. The catch is, he has to be able to capture your gaze with his eyes for his hypnotism to take effect. Currently, as he is still learning how to perfect his usage of hypnotism, Lycander is limited to only being able to use it against a single person at a time.
In addition to hypnotism, Lycander is fairly skilled in illusionary arts. His main form of illusion being that of projecting fire. It's not real fire, but at first glance one might believe it to be and even feel heat from the flames. He is limited to being able to project his illusions only about fifty feet from himself in any direction. Lycander has one particular illusion that is considered his most powerful and the one he works the hardest at perfecting. Using his illusionary fire, Lycander is able to create fiery creatures out of flames. It takes quite a bit of concentration at his current level. So far, his most successful and realistic forms are that of a great fiery dragon of golden flames as well as a rather large eagle (about twice the average size). None of the creatures are real, and should one reach out and touch them, their hand would fall right through the illusion unscathed.Status: Single

 Born the third child out of four, Lycander had a fairly energetic childhood living in the lively town of Moonfall. Two older brothers and a younger sister tend to give you plenty of opportunities to amuse oneself. Whether that be picking on your younger sister, or a friendly match of brotherly wrestling, there was always something going on. His parents were very laid back individuals that were friends with all their neighbors and always found themselves stopping to talk with someone whenever they went out to attempt 'family dinners'. Being such social individuals as they were, it rubbed off onto their kids. Lycander and his siblings learned not to be shy in saying hello to someone new which evolved into the chatty young man he is today. It just runs in the family and Lycander took it to new levels.
Things got a little difficult when Lycander's preference for guys came out of the closet it had been hiding in. For a few years prior, only his younger sister and eldest brother knew about it. His sister supported him, but his brother looked down on him. When the rest of the family found it, it was with mixed feelings. But he took it all in stride and was never angry at any of them. After talking with a few people that were gay themselves, things changed and his family supported him.
The Taimborlin's had a history of talented witches among their bloodline. Not many ever made it up to Ars Lilium or Reaper status, but the talent was there. As such, having Lycander show such interest in the Academy thrilled his family. They had hopes that maybe, their son, would make it up all the way to Ars Lilium one day. It would make them so proud! And give his mother something to gossip about. Not that this bothered Lycander in the slightest. He was intrigued by the things he was learning as a witchling and surprised to find he liked it. When he made it to witch status, the Taimborlin's wouldn't stop talking about it for weeks! Now, if only he could make it to Ars Lilium and really do his family proud.
Playful, sweet and outgoing are probably the three most common words used when describing Lycander. Some would argue that he doesn't have a mean bone in him. They would be mostly right. He is not known for getting into fights or having a nasty temper. Anger in him tends to build up subtly over time. He'll just shove an irritation to the back of his mind over and over again until too many things have built up and he snaps. It doesn't happen often and hardly ever around people. Lycander is very careful in that sense. He does not wish to lash out at any of his friends, which means when he does finally snap, it's when he is alone in his room. But as soon as he's gotten it out of his system, the next day he is right back to his bouncy, chatterful self. In fact, if you really want to get him to cheer up (if you happen to catch him in his less spunky moods), just bring up something related to gold. It's his slight (*cough*major*cough*) obsession. He just loves the way it shines, how many different things you can where gold jewelery with, and the color is so hypnotizing! And yes, he likes jewelery. No that doesn't make him a girl. He just likes the way it looks, how it feels against skin, and because wearing it allows you to see it shine when outside, obviously.✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★

He is way more excited than he should be.✰ THE ROOM✰ Upon entering the room, you will notice a warm golden color on the walls. Next would probably be the lush covers over the bed that appear almost velvety at first glance, but upon running your hand along the material you will find it is a soft imitation. Yet more enjoyable (or so Lycander feels). Then there is the bed itself, a nice comfortable queen sized thing that dominates room, a scattering of pillows atop it. Or appears to dominate the room. On either side is a small side table with various objects placed upon them. Like a lamp, a clock, candles, a va- wait. That's not a vase. It's a wine bottle. With flowers in it. Shut up. He has good taste, okay? There is also deep crimson drapes that hang over the window, blocking out the light from the morning sun. Just above the bed, you will also find a couple pictures hanging.
Also, please watch out for pets. They tend to claim the bed as their domain.✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ★

✰Requiem ♥♥♥ MY BOYFRIEND! Sort of shy, but pretty nice. Is amazing when playing the piano. I could get lost just listening to his music~
✰Shea and Koray ★★★ Sweet and gentle. Very easy to get along with. Koray is a good familiar to Shea. He seems a tad grumpy, but a cool cat.
✰Liza ★★★ Very adorable. She is just a doll and very sweet. Enjoys chatting and shopping as well! I'm glad I ran into her while visiting Moonfall again.
