For any that new him well by now, they would know almost immediately that something was up with the redheaded chatterbox. Instead of his usual array of different gold accessories, he merely wore his earrings and a small thick bracelet of gold on each wrist. Clearly, Lycander had something planned that he didn't want to run the risk of losing any of his accessories. Which was pretty much the case. Today, he was going exploring. And his territory to explore: discover any secrets Makai Royal Academy might have lurking in it's depths. Okay so not quite that dramatic. Lycander had heard rumors about some of the 'secrets' hidden among the school. They were, as far as he knew, only rumors. But seeing as he had nothing better to do today, why not go exploring and see if he could find out?
A small pack was thrown over his shoulder. It didn't hold too much. Mainly a sack lunch, flashlight, and bottle of water. Basic things that your typical wannabe explorer would have on hand. Or a very bored redhead that couldn't just lounge in his room when there was nothing to do.
Grinning, he padded along, wondering where he should start his explorations. Maybe something general, like start on the west side and work his way to the east? Or a more specific location? Slowly his grin started to fade. Had any of those rumors given starting points? Or maybe that was part of the mystery. That you had to find your own places to start exploring? Or maybe he should have thought this through a little bit more? That sounded much more likely. Lost in his thoughts as he was, Lycander didn't see the witch in his path and all but run into the poor girl. Startled by his small moment lapse in attention, the redhead reached out without thinking and grabbed a hold of her arms to keep her from falling.
"Oh fudge! Forgive me! I was not watching where I was going. So lost in my thoughts of exploring the school. Are you alright? I didn't bump you too hard, did I?" Lycander looked her over, concern in his gaze. He was usually much better at maneuvering around people while he walked. "I am terribly sorry. Guess that is what I get for focusing so hard on where to go exploring." He offered her a grin. "Name's Lycander, by the way. Please accept my apology."

Lilith had spent the good part of the morning running around the Academy helping her old teachers. Whatever task they had on hand, she would do, including cleaning up the classroom, bringing books back to the library... Making the day a little bit easier for them made Lilith feel happy as well as accomplished.
She had stopped by one of the restrooms to dry of some of the sweat that had fallen; her hair started to look kind of nasty with the sweat, so she just had to clean some of it off before it clung to her hair. While she used her back to open the door, she threw away the moist paper towel and headed on her way again, trying to use her fingers to straighten her hair that had gotten out of place. Looking up at the ceiling of the Academy, she wondered where she should to next...
And didn't look to where she was going. When she ran into the other Witch and saw him, it was obvious to see that they both were not looking where they were going. The Witch was holding her up until she managed to get back on her feet. Lilith thought that his fiery red hair and green eyes were really striking and she couldn't really be mad at him for something that was also her own fault. She kind of laughed at him and felt bad that he felt so horrible. "No worries. I have to admit that I wasn't quite looking where i was going either... I guess it's only right that I apologize as well."
"It's nice to meet you Lycander," she replied with a smile. "My name is Lilith." Taking a better look at him, she noticed that even though he wasn't wearing a school uniform, he had a bag hanging over his shoulder, which sparked Lilith's interested. "You don't look like a student here... But you seem to be ready for something... May I ask what you're going to be up to today?"

Lycander was quite glad that she didn't end up falling, and that he'd been fast enough to grab at her to keep her from falling. When he was sure she was stable on her own two feet again, he dropped his hold and let his hands wander to loop his thumbs along the rim of his pants. "Well, I am glad that neither of us fell to the ground. And it's all good. We are both alright and on our feet without any new scrapes and bruises to tell wild stories about." He winked at her, also double checking one last time that she was indeed alright. What? He was a gentleman!
"Lilith? What a lovely name! Don't think I've seen you around before." This made him frown. He was doing pretty well at meeting everyone. Then again, she wasn't wearing a uniform of any sort. So maybe he hadn't met her before? As if she was thinking the same things, he couldn't help but chuckle a little at her indirect question. "No. Not a student. Successfully made it through witchling status, as I believe you have as well? I do live on campus grounds still though. Haven't quite gotten around to moving back home. Or finding someplace else to go. Do enjoy some of the peace and quiet around the school." He tilted his head a little in thought. "I may move back to Moonfall soon. It's my hometown. And I do miss it." He just hadn't gotten around to doing so yet. And Lycander had to admit he enjoyed seeing all the younger witchlings and encouraging them in their studies.
As for her actual question, "Why yes. I am ready and up to something, actually." He grinned hugely at her. "Of course! I am on a small adventure of exploring today. Have you heard some of the rumors around the campus? About secret things the school hides?" Lycander lowered his voice conspiratorially as he leaned closer. "It is my goal to try and discover if some of those rumors are true." Straightening, Lycander beamed at Lilith. "Also known as, Lycander needing something fun to do because he was bored today. And I would much rather be out doing something then lounging around doing nothing."
Emerald eyes brightened as a thought struck him. "Would you like to join me in my explorations, Lilith? Such ventures are much more enjoyable when you have someone else to share them with!"

"Thanks, still, for the save! It would of been terribly painful if I did land on the floor!" Lilith bowed her head a little bit, trying to show more of her gratitude.
"I don't think I've seen you around much either. I got promoted to a Witch not too long ago, but I moved back to Lumena Castle Town soon after that." Lilith didn't understand why he was frowning, but hoped that she didn't do anything wrong. "It's kind of weird to see another Witch back at school,", she smiled and giggled. But when she heard Lycander talk about all the secrets at school, Lilith was very much intrigued. "I spend some days of the week here helping the teachers and staff that helped be become where I am today. It's kind of selfish not to give back sometimes, right?"
She had read plenty of books about them, but that's all that they were to her, stories from books."Of course I've heard of them, but I've never actually thought they were real or anything. I never though someone would actually look for them either, but it sounds interesting, what you're doing!"It seemed as though Lycander was determined to find these hidden secrets. Lilith cocked her head to the side, still wondering if it was even possibly real.
When she saw Lycander's eyes glimmer with an idea, Lilith was a little bit afraid at first, but when the question came up, Lilith's eyes lit up again. "That sounds like a lot of fun!" she looked back at Lycander and his backpack and then back at herself. She was wearing a dress and heels. "It doesn't seem like I'm very prepared for this though... Is that okay?"
Half of Lilith wanted him to say she wasn't prepared and couldn't go, but the other wanted Lycander to take her along no matter what. Lilith didn't really know what to expect and was a little bit intimidated by the idea of wandering around the school. What if they got in trouble? What if they really did manage to find something?

"Well you are quite welcome! I couldn't have let such a sweet thing as you fall on the ground. And it would have ruined your dress." He eyed the pretty red thing she wore. "That is a lovely color on you, if it's alright for me to say. And no, probably not. Not if you live back at Lumena. I do try to meet everyone that I can." He shrugged and gave her a wide grin. "Guess I'm falling behind if I haven't even met you before! Good thing this had been remedied." Winking he hooked his thumbs in the straps to his pack.
"Kinda is, I guess. Don't really see too many of us lingering around. Guess we're just different? Or maybe more tolerant of the younger witchlings?" Lycander tilted his head in thought. "I know that I do enjoy the quietness around the surrounding town though. Even if I'm as social of a person as I am, I do like that aspect of living here. And you are right. It is a little selfish of us not to." Lycander smiled sweetly.
His face lit right up. "Oh so you have heard the stories too? I can't say for sure if they are real or not. But from all the rumors and things I've heard, it finally nagged at me to get in gear and go explore for myself!" He gestured at himself, taking in his appearance and pack. "Hence me being ready to go out exploring!" It made him even happier to see the way Lilith's face lit up as well when he offered for her to join him in his explorations. Though, as she glanced at herself and back at him, he noticed the same small problem. "Hmm..." he tapped his chin thoughtfully. "I don't think it would be too much of a problem. Not like I'd let you slip and hurt yourself or anything." Lycander smiled and continued. "But, if you'd like to change into something more appropriate, I'd be happy to have us make a quick stop at my little humble apartment so you could borrow a shirt and pants? But I don't think your dress and heels will be a problem."
Lycander paused and then added in, "That's all assuming that you'd like to accompany me in my explorations. No hard feelings or anything if you don't want to." His gaze and smile were sweet and kind, letting her know he meant what he said.

Lilith couldn't help smile and blush; she would get comments once in a while, but no matter how many times it happened, it would fluster her. "Thank you for the compliment," she said as she patted flat her dress from the almost-fall. "I can't help myself when I wear dresses... They just seem so much more comfortable compared to pants and a t-shirt."
"I haven't met too many other witches, but I'm definitely glad to meet you as well as many of the students here! I don't know how you've met everyone though," Lilith giggled. "I've always found meeting new people are the best times of the day! For myself, I'm not social, but if I were to live out in the country-side instead of in Lumena... I don't know what I'd do in my free time."
Her hands were on her head, making sure that her bows and hair were not out of place. She looked back at him when she felt as though she was composed again. "I know, for sure I want to join you. Though... Do you know which ones you want to explore? I mean, maybe I can walk around barefoot... Cleaning these dresses are not horrible, but if I sprained my ankle, that would be horrible..."
"It's not that I don't trust you, of course... I just know I can be kind of clumsy sometimes." Lilith took off her shoes and smiled. "I think I'm ready now! Now the question is... Where are we off to?"

"You are most welcome." He grinned. "Everyone deserves a nice compliment. And it is very true. The color is lovely on you. Brings out your eyes." He had good taste, alright? And liked to clothes shop. And shop in general. Fashion just amused him and, as his attire usually suggested, he was at least skilled enough to find trendy fashions. "Can't say that I would really know. Never been daring enough to try on a dress. Well...there was the one time, with by siblings. Still think I enjoy pants much more." He mused before giving Lilith a slightly sheepish smile. "Forgive me. Didn't mean to babble on about that."
"I most certainly agree! Though, I haven't met too many students that I remember well. Mostly just lots of faces that I've said hi to, offered help if they needed it. I really don't go by the Academy too much during sessions. Mostly on weekends. I'd hate to disrupt the Professor's." He smiled back at her with a cheesy grin. "Oh that one is easy! I just say hi to everyone I meet and if they happen to stop and chat, bonus for me! Personally, I know maybe a few by name. Otherwise, just the friendly passing each other along the way." He paused. "Or the few times I've stuck my head into classrooms right before they let out to say hi to a Professor here and there." Lycander shrugged. "I just enjoy meeting new people a lot and am not very shy about approaching someone new to offer a kind hello." His emerald eyes brightened a little with amusement. "I agree. I wouldn't know what to do with so much free time. Perhaps go wondering down to a neighboring town. Or something like I'm doing today."
Lycander thought about her question. "Hmmm...I think I just planned on starting with some of the eastern most structures. Something about the east just seemed appealing." He grinned. "Of course, if you have any suggestions, I'd be more than happy to hear them! I'm sort of...wingin' it at this point. And I think you would be alright barefoot. If we hit any surfaces that are hard on bare feet, just slip your shoes on and I'll help you across the area. I'd feel terrible if you slipped or stepped on something." He nodded in complete understanding. "It's alright. I felt it was only right to offer seeing as you were not prepared at all for such and adventurous day!"
Grinning, he slipped his pack off and pointed off in the direction he'd been heading. "Off that'a way, my dear! If you like, we can store your shoes in my pack so you don't have to carry them the whole time. Still easy to access if you need them." Lycander held the pack out to her, not really minding if she didn't want to store her heels in them. He was just being the nice guy he was.
