A second notebook is tied to the back of the first to accomodate all of the information the writer wished the record. Judging by its condition, the amendment is a fairly recent addition, having been added perhaps five years prior. The handwriting is more polished and refined but retains a messy, rushed quality.
> morrison and i became agents today as a commendation for our work in the last mission and in all missions before it. i told morrison i can't even remember what our missions were. he called me a lucky b*****d
> i was thinking about what morrison said before. i AM a lucky b*****d. i have no idea what kinds of things i'm doing on these missions but i still get all the benefits
> i was thinking today and merry and i get on a lot better than we used to. elissa says that's what happens when you spend a long time with a pokemon. i went on a pokemon adventure when i was 10 and i didn't feel that way at all towards my piplup.
> was getting briefed on tomorrow's mission. usually i black out right beforehand but i heard some of it this time. the last thing i remember before waking up in the hall was the word 'assassination.' i asked morrison about it and he looked at me like i was crazy.
> morrison's been acting weird lately. i think he has a thing for elissa. need to step up the pace before he beats me to the punch
> i can't find morrison anywhere. he was with me before we left for the mission. merry keeps giving me this sad look. i'm kind of worried.
> elissa won't talk to me anymore
> morrison is dead
> someone said i killed morrison
> elissa's being transferred. she won't say where.
> i think i killed morrison
> they're promoting me to elite
> i killed morrison.
> elissa is gone
The remainder of the notebook is empty.
