A certain black-haired young woman was wandering through the hallway of TRHQ, trying to find her newest pokemon. Unfortunately, however, she was having absolutely no luck at all. What in the world had possessed her to take the little monster, she had no idea.
Elsewhere in the building, her newest pokemon was having the best day of her short life exploring the air vents.

Claire would come upon a pokemon, certainly, and it would even have a similar blue hue to its body, intermittent amongst otherwise black surfaces. The Porygon, on hearing her approach, turned and glared warily at the new arrival.
Elsewhere in the building, the Porygon's owner wandered the halls in something akin to a daze as he sought out his most recent addition.

As she turned a corner she did happen upon the black and blue Porygon. Its sudden appearance made her pause-midstep as her eyebrows rose in mild surprise, and she halted with her hands placed loosely on her hips. "You're not who I was looking for," she said with a slight sigh, brows furrowing. "Where's your trainer?"
Lucas would suddenly hear metallic jingling above his head.

"Pory." The thing's voice had a subtle electronic quality to it, and he turned to face Claire fully. 'Trainer' was a familiar word, but it wasn't one he particularly liked. Quite bored with the physical, he disappeared suddenly. "Porygon." The sound this time came from the woman's pokedex.
Poor, unsuspecting Lucas would hear the sound but would fail to register where it came from. He looked around himself briefly. "Droid? That you? Come on, man, it's time to head back already." Because an earnestly voiced wish for compliance always worked against disobedient pokemon. Always.

The Porygon's sudden disappearance made her blink in surprise, while the electronic voice emitted from her pokedex made her jump. Pulling out the device from her pocket - hadn't she left it off? - she studied it with knitted eyebrows. It hadn't gone actually, you know, into her pokedex, had it...?
Instead of complying, a muffled "vffrff" floated down from the vents before the metallic jingling continued, its slowly decreasing volume suggesting the culprit was traveling further along the vents.

Cyberspace was the best, after all, and running amok was even more fun there than in the physical world. The Pokedex autonomously started flipping through all of the gathered entries, pulling up holographic displays at random.
In his weariness, Lucas failed to distinguish the sound from that of a Porygon, and he followed after the moving noise. "Droid! Come out of there!"

"Wh.. hey!" What the heck was it doing?! A great deal of holographic pictures of every pokemon her 'dex had registered started flipping so fast it almost made her head spin, and she tried to push a few buttons to see if it'd stop. "Get out of there," she demanded in an exasperated tone. She was not in the mood for these kinds of games right now.
Unfortunately for Lucas, the noise did not stop - it continued on down the hall before the wall ended in a corner, and the scuffling from the vents followed it.

The pokedex stopped on the entry for Porygon, an apparent new addition as a result of the contact with the creature. The display, however, showed the black and blue 'gon Claire had an encountered rather than the standard pink variety. The holographic production blinked, tilting its head slightly with smiling eyes. It produced a sound similar to laughter in response to her distress.
"Droid!" At this point, Lucas was quite certain that he was being taunted by none other than his own Porygon. He stared up at the vents, a vague frustration comprising his expression. "Come down already! Jeez..."

At the new entry in her dex, she frowned at it with one hand on her hip, her face showing her obvious indecision to be frustrated or to laugh. The latter won out though, and when it seemed to laugh, she chuckled at it. "Are you having fun in there?" She wasn't sure how much fun it could be to terrorize a simple pokedex, but what did she know about possessing technology? Absolutely nothing.
The creature in the vents paused momentarily at the distressed noise, vaguely recognizing it as angry and maybe it should listen, so after the pause the volume of the metallic jingling noises increased as the fluffball shuffled back towards the voice.

The Porygon was quite surprised by Claire's reaction, and the display flickered, the colors on the hologram returning to normal. Moments later the virtual pokemon reappeared in the hall with a huff. What fun was it if she wasn't angry anymore?
Lucas heaved a sigh of relief when the sounds returned. "There. Now come down, okay?" His tone was entreating but firm. Truth to be told he was starting to feel a bit awkward yelling at the ceiling, but it wasn't as though he could ignore the Porygon, especially if it chose to cause problems...

She chuckled again as it reappeared, and she clicked the dex off and slipped it back into her pocket. "What, it's not fun anymore?" Did it want her to get upset at it? She'd be sure to keep this little tidbit in mind if she ever came across this specific Porygon again.
The shuffling wavered near the grate in the ceiling, as if trying to figure out how to get down from there. Some sort of appendage, nearly black from the lack of lighting in the vents, pawed at the grate lightly. A puff of dust floated down from the grating over Lucas' head.

"Poryyy," the thing droned, clearly displeased. It was not fun, and now he was bored again. He started down the hall once more in search of something interesting.
Lucas was never as glad to wear glasses as when dust, dirt, or sand were headed for his eyes. Nonetheless, he waved his arm instinctively to clear the descending cloud. Anyway, what was that thing? Droid had some black to him, but a paw? Or maybe it wasn't a paw. Maybe he was seeing things. One way or another, he stood unmoving, waiting for the pokemon to remove itself from the ventilation.

"Oh, well excuse me," she said with a roll of her eyes. She really needed to find Blue... Maybe this Porygon could help? She really doubted it, but she could at least try. She had absolutely no idea where the little fluffball could be. "Have you seen a blue Eevee?" She asked it after taking a few steps toward it, instantly wondering why she was asking questions of a pokemon, but.. oh well. Maybe it had?
Lucas wouldn't have to wait very long at all. The creature tried pawing the grate again, but to no avail. So, it decided on the clearly brilliant decision of jumping on it - and quickly found out this wasn't so brilliant. The grate immediately flew open on one side, its hinges on the other side keeping it firmly attached to the ceiling, but the little fluffball had no such security. The little blue 'vee suddenly found itself falling through the air before, with a surprised "vui!" it bounced off of some part of the scarred man - his head perhaps, or maybe his shoulder - and continued tumbling through the air.

The Porygon regarded Claire momentarily before vanishing, slipping into the surveillance system and doing a brief survey of the building. One of the halls - a nearby one, in fact - contained one such Eevee, as well as a man whom the black and blue pokemon was in no rush to find. Claire had provided some entertainment, though, so he could at least return the favor. Rematerializing in the physical world, he gave a brief "gon" and continued down the hall with a gesture that suggested she follow.
"Guh--!" A face full of blue fur was not what he had been expecting. In fact, he hadn't particularly been expecting a face full of anything, but if he had been, it would have been something much more angular and inorganic. "What the hell?" He turned to the offending fur ball with a frown. That was not a Porygon.

Her eyebrows rose as the odd pokemon disappeared, only to reappear after a short pause and.. keep going? Had it found Blue that quickly? ...how had it found Blue? ....did it actually find the little Eevee or was it just messing with her more. Shaking her head slightly to dismiss these thoughts, she followed after the Porygon with the hope that it had indeed managed to locate her lost little 'vee.
It most certainly was not a Porygon. The non-Porygon sat in Lucas' hands for a moment, facing away from him as its little nose wriggled. It inhaled before suddenly sneezing, the aftereffects of which caused it to flop backwards against the man. Gold eyes blinked momentarily before it gazed up at the man behind the glasses, blinking at him once more. "Vui?"
