• Name: Iridian Ekibyougami
• Name Meaning: A name that refers to the eye ("iris"), origin unknown
• Gender: Male
• Age: Child (approx. 6-11)
• Sexuality/Status: N/A
• Height: About average, a little on the tall side
• Weight: Slightly underweight due to a gangly build and hyperactivity
• Sin: Gluttony
• Virtue: Kindness

• Personality: This kid is far too friendly for his own good, and even quite pushy about it to boot. Iridian's gluttonous attributes have surfaced as an insatiable appetite for attention, as is immediately evident with his antics. He has a habit of rapid-firing his mouth when he meets someone new, in an attempt to win them over as a friend as easily as he himself is able to accept them. Unfortunately, because of his kindness, he also can't seem to see anyone as a threat, either. That bully that gave him a black eye? Friend. That serial killer he randomly saw on the television set? Friend! If he can't get the attention by talking, he's taken to more drastic attempts as well, which he mainly uses while at home or at the park: he's become rather careless with his own well-being, as a daredevil. All-in-all, however, there is almost never a time where you can find Iridian unhappy; he's nearly always smiling.
• Likes: Would "everything" count as a like? He's always up to trying new things, or even old things that didn't exactly go right the first time. He enjoys it when he gets to have fun, act like the kid he is, but can be perfectly entertained with nothing more than a scrap of tissue paper. Above all else, he enjoys being the center of someone's attention, so has grown a penchant for being the "class clown," or "daredevil." He has a large fondness for feathers and tassels, and gets thrilled when he can manipulate a situation into becoming a game for him.
• Dislikes: You think you could find something that this kid can label as a "dislike" openly? He likes to find the silver lining in everything, so this is quite possibly an impossible quest to undertake. The only thing one used to be able to count was brussel sprouts, but now he's even found something to like about those, too. Let me tell you, it's not pleasant to be hit by those when they're used as a projectile...
• Other Quirks: Iridian likes to use his scaled "chicken wings" as extra appendages with which to tickle or poke someone with, but also as a defense mechanism to scare people away in the rare instance he doesn't want to talk to anybody. Contrary to what one might believe, he also doesn't mind his mismatched eyes -- they are a point of conversation sometimes, after all! Riddy also finds it impossible to roll along the ground, somersault-fashion, as it hurts his scaled wings to put so much awkward pressure on them. Due to being blind in one eye, he also has to wrestle with severe depth-perception problems, so accuracy with most things tends to be highly limited.

• Abilities:
-- Can regulate internal pressure where he can be on land or in the deep sea: Just because the depths of the ocean can crush your bones in an instant, doesn't mean this kid has the same problem. Not that he's tried to use this skill yet...
-- Excellent swimmer: It is a natural gift, and one that was even evident at such a young age!
-- Can detect electrical signals generated by other living things / Able to sense or "see" auras and discern them from one another: Talk about a triple-dosage! It makes it seem like he cheats at hide-and-seek, unfortunately, but Iridian could easily find people and other living things with his eyes closed. In fact, he could probably find living things with every single one of his senses sealed. There's no way you could sneak up on him unnoticed.
-- Can breathe on land and underwater: Comes with the territory when you've got gills as well as lungs, this kid is probably never going to have to worry about drowning. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean he can breathe chlorine very well.

• Name: Cheyenne "China" Ekibyougami
• Name Meaning: Taken from the Dakota word "shahiyena," meaning "unintelligible speakers"
• Gender: Male
• Age: Child (approx. 6-11)
• Sexuality/Status: N/A
• Height: A tad shorter than average
• Weight: Very underweight due to being sickly
• Sin: Envy
• Virtue: Abstinence

• Personality: A very quiet kid, Cheyenne rarely talks unless it is necessary to use words in response. He has been turning more and more inward, tilting further toward being shy rather than aloof when around others other than family. Although he seems to prefer to keep his distance from others, alluding to silence and a calm atmosphere, he can't help but be berated mentally with jealousy at the ease his brother has of opening up to others. Constantly in conflict with his emotions, his disdain for the spotlight has gained him a short temper and a minuscule amount of patience when around those he feels comfortable with, replaced with a furious, silent shyness when in public. Being such a sickly kid doesn't help matters much either, nearly always feeling under the weather with his low immune system and allergies to the sunlight.
• Likes: He likes his solitude, and although he enjoys being left alone, he also likes feeling that he isn't forgotten or ignored. China has become enthralled with music as of late, and will prefer to listen to a tape or CD player during his time alone than the silence itself. Since it had been given to him, Cheyenne also has been nearly inseparable from his blanket, which he tends to carry around the house with him. He has also been gaining an increased interest in the computer, but as of yet hasn't surpassed an enjoyment for the games on it, currently wary of the internet. Cheyenne also adores chicken soup, and sometimes pokes fun at Iridian because of it.
• Dislikes: It is difficult to tell when Cheyenne dislikes something, but he tends to get annoyed most often around hyper individuals. He hates the sunlight, but this is only due to his genetic defect -- he'd love to be able to go out in it someday, but for now, it is looked at with scorn. He also hates being envious about nearly everything, but these feelings can't be extinguished, so he values his own silence. He abhors being called "Enne" or "Ennie."
• Other Quirks: Most obviously? Cheyenne is an albino. Combine this with his genetics, and this makes him practically allergic to sunlight. He has grown a rather strong attachment to a blanket that Otomeza offered to him on a particularly bad day, and will use it as a literal "security blanket" when he is feeling uncomfortable or wanting to hide.

• Abilities:
-- Tail whip: Although not nearly as effective as Charna's long tail, Cheyenne can still cause some painful damage when he smacks someone with that barb.
-- Dark vision: He can see every little detail in the dark just as easily as most people can on the brightest of days. This ability is enhanced not only because he spends most of his time in the dark due to his albinism, but he gets this ability from both sides of his lineage.
-- Flexibility: China has an above-average flexibility, but because he didn't inherit Charna's long limbs, this is another muted ability in contrast.
-- Flight: Once his wings get strong enough to support his weight, this kid will have no trouble soaring through the skies. Well... as long as it's overcast, or nighttime.
-- Can subsist on water: Not that he'd really want to, but if worse came to worst, China could live off of only water in his diet. He isn't nearly as temperamental about eating meat and other animal products, though.

• Name: Otomeza Ekibyougami
• Name Meaning: Refers to the constellation Virgo in Japanese; her shared surname means "jinx" or "angel of death," a name that was pinned to her family
• Gender: Female
• Age: 260
• Sexuality/Status: Heterosexual; single, though not really looking
• Height: 6' 1" (not including horns)
• Weight: Surprisingly light, considering her thick hide and natural plating, though her skeletal structure is slightly more brittle than average
• Specie: Draconic Demon
• Occupation: Unemployed; currently lives off of her sister's excess income but looking for work

• Personality: Bubbly and happy, Otomeza isn't as much of a ditz as she may appear to be. Sometimes she likes to play off of peoples' assumptions to her advantage, but more often than not, this only proves to irritate her under her amiable smile -- she can't help it if she was born with blonde hair and enjoys some of the girliest things imaginable! All things considered, she has a terrific maternal instinct, something she not only uses with family but with just about everyone she runs in to. However, verbal teasing is usually reserved for only the closest of family and friends, and the highest courtesy is presented to everyone else unless something else is more deserved. She has a habit of giving without taking into consideration her own well-being, and has a very long fuse.
• Likes: She's always wanted to take care of kids, so picking up Iridian and Cheyenne was like a dream come true to her. Her interests usually lie in what makes others happy, whether it be the twins or her sister, but sometimes she just needs some alone-time (although she hates to admit it). She adores ice cream and popsicles, so will almost always have them around the house. She likes to go out and have fun, be outgoing a bit, and encounter friendly people.
• Dislikes: She has a hard time dealing with depression and anger from other people, but tries to deal with it to the best of her ability. When she can't make someone close to her happy, it leaves her feeling horrible, and she often dwells on the subject. She hates it, but she has a bad habit of holding grudges -- this mainly manifests as avoidance, however, and never anything too serious.

• Abilities: Meza has amazing intuition when it comes to figuring out what makes someone act the way they do, and has oftentimes used it on her sister to pry for information she was holding back. Her magical abilities are ice-based, but since she hasn't had much of a need to use it, she's rather rusty with the ability. It's not as if she uses ice magic on a whim, after all. An ability that is most immediately apparent on impression is her high level of optimism. She is always looking on the bright side or trying to cheer someone up. At least she's good at it, but this is because she pairs the ability with her maternal instinct.

• History: Otomeza had grown up in a loving home, one that nurtured the children with the utmost care and devoted everything to the family itself. The girl was shielded from the horrors of everyday life on the streets of Gaia, knowing only her parents and sister, Ryuuza, as the world. Life went well, although slightly boring, for the draconic clan -- at least as far as the sisters knew. Their parents had a hard time shielding the two of them from the difficulties they endured when being labeled as "demons," but tried their best to bring them up to be chivalrous, despite others' reactions to them.

The two children always got concerned when her parents came home battered and bruised, something that could be difficult to do against dragon scales. They tried to reassure them that nothing was wrong and not to worry, but this didn't help soothe Ryu's outlook. Otomeza couldn't help but obey, being the submissive yet carefree spirit that she was, and tried to lighten her older sister's worries.

The Ekibyougami clan always had it hard, as many Gaians did, but that didn't stunt the two sisters in caring. They went their separate ways as adults, Otomeza wanting to lead as normal a life as possible and raise a family, and Ryuuza becoming the protector of those in need. Neither of them ever sees herself as something special, but rather what she hopes is inside everyone else.

• Height: 5' 10"
• Weight: Heavy for the musculature she's built up and the natural plating on her skin, but not overly so (small frame)
• Specie: Draconic Demon
• Occupation: Mercenary
• Relation: Otomeza's sister / Iridian & Cheyenne's aunt
• Personality Notes: A cautious being, Ryuuza is used to being ridiculed as a "demon" even though she is more of an anthro: not bloodthirsty or power-hungry in the least bit. She is a guardian through-and-through, using all of her effort to protect what is dearest to her. Although cursed with harmful powers, she uses these to her advantage in battle, coersion, and concentration. She has a morbid sense of humor, but will use it in a way as to not hurt others' feelings -- that is, unless it is meant to as a threat. She is very devoted to family, friends, and honor, and would rather herself fall than to betray these beliefs.

• Age: Protostar (equivalent to a newborn)
• Height: Tiny
• Weight: About the same as a bag of flour
• Specie: Class G Starlet
• Occupation: Baby
• Relation: Ryuuza's charge / Otomeza's nephew / Iridian & Cheyenne's cousin
• Personality Notes: Still being a protostar, Wray's demeanor is a mystery to his guardian. However, the thoughts that race through his head depict a lonely soul, one very attached to the company of others and the feeling of touch. He is a very curious child, not afraid to stick his nose into things that intrigue him. He is very eager to learn, wether it be for academic purposes or to strengthen a friendship.

• Age: You might get a confused look if you asked
• Height: Eri might boast being a foot tall, but this is a bit of an exaggeration
• Weight: If it would stop being so hyper, Ryuuza might be able to tell you
• Specie: Perrin Sprite
• Occupation: Annoying Ryuuza Uhh... part-time aide?
• Relation: A tagalong of Ryuuza's / Family friend
• Personality Notes: Although not a familiar or a pet, Eri the Perrin Sprite has grown a distinct liking to the baby Wray. It helps Ryuuza care for him, but other than that can get on her nerves. It is incessant at chatter, loving to make conversation even when asked politely not to. S/he will get the hint if it is forced onto him/her, but it is hard to stop. All-in-all, Eri makes a good companion... if you can stand his/her hyperness!
