9:Jan:2007 So with all but the last three reserved posts (which deal with Christmas and the SS) filled in. I'm starting to look at Arian's past as he start's the road to questing. Most of the posts are going to be Arian-centric, although in between them will conversations between Kaze and Kori.Which though it might not seem that way at first will have quite a bit as to what's overall going on.
Expect lots of procrastination over this sweatdrop

Arian's messy jade-green hair is kept in a simple braid and he has bright emerald eyes that sparkle with curiousity. From shoulder to hand on both arms winds a series of starflower tattoos and he also has a small silver horn, silver-grey wings and a jade tail that matches his hair.Likes: The colours silver and jade, cookies, feathers, raw vegetables and pretty musicDislikes: Meat, mean people, grumpy people, maths, being grounded and being boredPersonality: Arian is the sort of person who seems to feel almost impelled beings to seek information and interaction with both his natural environment and other beings in his vicinity.
Naturally inquisitive, Arian seems to want to know every and anything about just about anything to come into contact with and his favourite words are perhaps unsurprisingly "question words". On the other hand Arian is so darn cute and pretty affable to boot so people generally don't seem to mind being bombarded by at times almost endless questions.Pre time-skip: During the period when both Kaze and Arian were living with Kori, Arian met a few of his fellow lanturn spirits, although the two that he's talked the most to and hence have made the most impression on him are Mikomi and Aikori. Aikori in particular is someone that for some reason Arian considers a friend, having hit it off with his fellow lanturn spirit almost immediately.Post time-skip: If it's possible during his period away Arian has gotten even more curious. Recently the unicorn spirit has started to start wondering about why he was in his lanturn and why he doesn't have real parents like some of the other children he met while he and Kaze were travelling. Currently he is unaware of the fact that Kaze was once a guardian to another unicorn child named Arian, or that he looks remarkably similar to the other Arian.

 Name: Kaze Age: Looks to be somewhere between late teens and early twenties Birthday: It's a secret Height: Short Race: Crossbreed between sprite (air elemental) and human Distinguishing Marks: Feathered head-wings, pointed elf-like ears and a tattoo reminiscent of butterfly wings on her back Occupation: Mage (currently working with Kori and Kirith when she's not wandering) Abilities: Power over air and ice, plus a generalised knowledge of elemental magic. Proficient at the harp, the long bow and at using throwing fans. Also soul-linked to a spirit bird by the name of Kurura Appearance: Those who saw Kaze would be forgiven for mistaking her for an elf - she certainly has pointed ears that wouldn't look out of place on an elf... Unfortunately she's rather short for an elf. Although not classically beautiful Kaze has a friendly face and is cute in a 'doesn't-know-she's cute type of way. Kaze's waist-length hair is generally worn in two braids tied simply with a pair of silver ribbons that were a random gift from Kirith.Personality
Fairly sweet, Kaze is fairly easygoing and tends to get on with just about anyone (Iarina being one of the few exceptions).
Loyal to her friends and something of a chatterbox, Kaze comes across as down to earth if a little scatty. She also tends to randomly hand out cookies to people - even those she doesn't know.
Kaze can also be a little too trusting of others, a trait that has led to her getting hurt in the past. History:
The result of a fling between a sprite and a human, Kaze was brought up by her father's brother - although it was only when he was on his deathbed that she found out that the man who had 'raised' her was in fact her uncle.
Kaze's no stranger to being unwanted - her 'father' hadn't really had much time for a child nor had he particularly wanted one and her mother Iarina has never made any secret about the fact that Kaze doesn't fit her image of the perfect daughter.
Kaze's learnt to be self-sufficient from an early age and as a result is a fairly good cook, even if most the time she uses her cooking skills to fuel her sweet tooth.
Having spent a great deal of her life not knowing much about her childhood apart from the fact that someone in her family hadn't been human, Kaze had secretly carried around the desire to some day unravel the mystery behind her childhood and one day find her true parents, however having finally met her mother and having found out that she's half sprite Kaze now wishes she had left well alone
Kaze shares a soul-bond with a spirit bird by the name of Kurura, although it's not something she either advertises or talks about. She is currently in trouble with the Air Court for neglecting her 'elemental duties'. Pre time-skip: At one point while on the run from the Air Court, Kaze ended up living with Kori - a friend of sorts who she does the odd jobs for.
It was while living with the fallen angel that the lanturn she'd picked up from the nearby lanturn shop manifested into a spirit that looks remarkably like a unicorn boy that Kaze briefly had guardianship off. Strangely enough they both also share the name Arian. Kaze however has not told Arian, about the Arian she once knew and the issue has been the subject of arguments between Kaze and Kori. Post time-skip: Having finally moved out from Kori's apartment, Kaze and Arian have just returned from a series of travels and the pair now live in a small flat of their own not too far from the lanturn shop.

Cold, proud, distant... Three words which describe Iarina very well. Iarina is not someone who it is easy to talk to seeing herself as 'above' and superior to pretty much anyone who is not a sprite Relationship with Kaze:
Neither mother or daughter get along very well and it doesn't help that Kaze is very different in personality to Iarina. Can change his mass (make himself bigger or smaller). Proficient in the use of daggers. Good at getting into mischief and has hair that changes colour with his mood (Kaze's note: does that even count as an ability?) Appearance: Kirith generally comes across as slightly scruffy and can mostly be found when not in sprite form in t-shirt and black jeans, with his hair tied back in a messy pony tail. Kirith is generally mistaken as being younger than he actually is and has on occasion been mistaken for a woman (Kaze's note: Although not nearly as much as Kori is) Personality
Mischievous and generally very easy going, Kirith can come across as pretty childish some times, even though he's much older than Kaze and only slightly younger than Iarina. Kirith is fiercely loyal to the few he considers close to him, currently a number of two. Relationship with Kaze: Generally pretty good. Kaze and Kirith have more of a brother-sister relationship than anything else, though Kaze finds that she seems to spend more time getting Kirith out of trouble than anything else. Currently though, they're not really speaking as Kaze's pretty upset with him

Cold, distant, sarcastic and distinctly unfriendly with a tendency towards rudeness and a lack of care towards hurting other peoples' feelings.
Kori really doesn't like people very much and it shows. Anti-social and extremely unfriendly most people don't realise that the ex angel is also very loyal to those he's well.. Well those who seem to have some meaning to him. Currently that means pretty much only four people.
Those who don't know Kori find it surprising why Kaze actually bothers to call him a friend although the fallen angel appears have a soft spot for the half sprite - more so than even his boyfriend Mitsukune..
