Hairstyle: Spiky and somewhat out of control fringe, however further back it’s still wild but straight, starting off short but getting longer as he grows.
HairColour: Very dark and either midnight dark blue or purple.
Skin color: Black velvety fur covering most of his
Clothing: As a Toddler completely and utterly starkers (naked) with maybe only a soft blanket to kep any…uhhum…privet area’s covered.
And even as he gets older I believe the term for his clothing will be ‘minimalist’ choosing to wear as little as he can get away with normally just a pair of shorts of lose pants.
Personality: When he is first introduced to the world he is jumper and more skittish than a jackrabbit. Some of Sin’s other Children make fun of him by sneaking up on him and shouting ‘boo!’ which just makes him worse and for quite a while he will be very nervous of other children and anyone really apart from his adoptive mother. Sticking close to Sin and clinging to her constantly. Not so a he gets older, he changes quite dramatically learning to relay more of his other scenes he begins to be able to tell people are there before they even get through the doorway making them jump instead of the other way round, he also learns the strength of his own body able to dig and swim long distances he starts to lose baby fat. He never completely gets over his shyness and always has a tendency to run and hide in one of his tunnels or a dark place but he becomes a little less antisocial and more talkative.
Markings: A very cute little pink nose. ^.^ And the large mole claws.
Eye color: Black.
Eye style: Very small and beady, maybe slightly glazed to show he can’t see very well.

Well I had to look back at some of the old pictures of him he has grown quite a lot but because I see him everyday I almost forgot just how much, his hair has gotten a lot longer, but unfortunately still remains as messy as every, he hardly lets me go any where near him with a brush let alone scissors so his hair is longer and messy.
He seems to have lost a bit of that baby fat but he’s still quite chubby, maybe he’ll continue to lose it, he’s certainly active, he loves to build things. Just about any kind of structure around himself, this usually means a den or fort made out of the couch cushions. Another curious thing about him is that despite his age he absorbs knowledge like a sponge I rarely have to tell him anything twice and his speech is more advanced than that of most children his age. I have a theory that this has something to do with the fact that his eyesight isn’t brilliant even with his glasses. So he finds it hard to read books, although he has a few picture books which he makes me read with him pretty much every night before he can sleep. God bless that child he is adorable but he does have some habits that drive me insane.
He’s got what I call clothing issues; basically he doesn’t like wearing clothing. At least not the child’s clothing which I got him. He refuses to wear any of them expect a small par of shorts and even that can result in tears. So what he normally end up wearing are my clothes. My big softest fleecy jumpers and soft cotton shirts. They go right down over his knees sometimes to the floor. And his large hands are the only thing that prevents them covering his fingers as well.
Another thing about Taren is he is still extremely shy of other children. When it’s just him and one other child at the moment he is able to build up enough courage and actually goes to play but he still get’s jumpy and scared of them easily and with any large amount of people he just clings to me. He also still has that raggedy old blue blanket he came from d-corp with which he constantly carries round as a sort of comfort. I don’t think I can add anymore to that. I love the kid but he’s also shortening my life quite a few years.

An interesting boy and an interesting skill, it was a lot of fun to teach and to watch him work. I am eager to see him again in the future to see how his digging is progressing.

[Meta 5] Critical ConditionThe boy seemed a little more than stubborn to receive treatment from me and my staff. He had a more advanced case of the disease and needed to be on constant life support. Luckily the child made a full recovery with no side effects after the vaccine had been administered.

It had been some time since she had any direct contact from them since Taren's illness which had scared the life out of her and set her mind at none to kind a position towards the whole pack of them. After all their screw up had caused the death of one child. A and almost hers. It sent a violent shiver down her spine at the thought. It was only due to the good doctor that a cure had been found. Why make children that were going to suffer and possibly die? She sighed. Of course Taren insisted on returning to check on his egg as well. Bless him.
She looked at the other letters that had come in the mail that Morning. Bill, bill, bill, bill and just for a change, another bill.
Ugh. Well they would be dealt with when she got this big order filled and the program up and running but in the mean time she walked through to her study and dumped the pile on Flint who was lounging in front of the telly. "Would you go and get a Job already!" She demanded "Lazy Rat, your not pulling your weight." the blue furred rodent frowned and waved his finger at her "Hey I take offence to that." Silen just rolled her eyes. "Why? You are a rat and you are lazy!" Flint parted his muzzle wanting to further argue this point but his mind drew a blank on what he could say. Silen smiled in satisfaction and motioned towards the paper. "See,just look and see if there is anything in the want adds I have to send this back." she told him waving the D-corp letter, quickly tugging it out of harms way as Flint made a grab for it.
Turning on her heel she vanished into the study before more protests could arise.
Time to see to have a go at the letter.
Dear Bastards...
She paused and shook her head, as might as the old rebel in her screamed that she deffinatly wanted to keep that and any backfire would be worth the look on their faces she shook her head and deleted it to start again. Quote: To Mr Rikery. I am writing in response to your recent letter to provide you with an update on the Mole child Taren. I believe in my last letter of this kind I informed you of his server reluctance to wear clothes. That seems to have been solved by the especially cold winter that visited us this year. I would not let him out without several layers on and of course he's old enough to feel the cold and soon realised it was better to listen than be stubborn about it. He still dislikes wearing to many layers of clotheing but will wear a pair of green cargo shorts and bare feet or sandles with some coaxing. I even managed to find him a hard hat in a similar colour that satisfies him and me by offering some protection when working on his tunnels. The same tunnels that have also forced a change in his glasses which are now prescription goggles. Before I got them he lost three pairs in various cave ins and accidents but so far the goggles have proved most effective in standing up against the abuse. As for his other clothes, they all seem to remain in his favourite colours of blue and/or purple. Luckily he still seems to be growing slower than most kids and remains pretty short so I don't have to replace them to often. Apart from when he gets his claws caught in them. As for social and mental development, his memory still astounds me. It's much better than mine and he can often memorize what you say to him word for word. Unlike most children he also seems to remember back to his first few years with me. On the social side of things he is slowly gaining in confidence but the illness knocked him back severely so some of the friends and contacts he was building up then seem to have fallen by the way side. I still find him in his room cuddling his old tattered blue blankie sometimes when he's upset. But in general I have faith that he will again start to come out of his shell. As much as I hate to admit it (since I can see it being about as beneficial to the furniture as a earthquake) a dragon might well help further in this as well. Signed S.Nickoles.
