The hallway seemed to stretch on forever, all in numbing sameness, the bright white light fixed into the ceiling, the same white paint which was the colour they always painted hospitals with.Something that had always puzzled him since in is strict option it was actually more likely to bore you to death before you got a chance to get better. And then there were the door's endless doors leading to the left and right, spaced quite a distance apart but if you walked ahead you were sure to find another one which was identical to it's fellows. Oh, he was very very lost. He pushed think lens glasses up further onto his nose and looked around, a little frightened and bewildered. He had just been right behind his guardian and he had turned away from the briefest moment and poof. She was gone.
As usual he was bare foot and wore one of his guardians over sized shirts, pretty plane today, dark blue with a green and red rose on the chest. His guardian had muttered something about questioning sexuality which he didn't understand when he picked it out but he liked it. He wrapped the extra fabric tightly round himself now to try and add some protection. He wanted to go home. big fat tears leaked from under the lens and trailed slowly through his fur as he wondered on sniffling weakly as his focus became more and more on just finding and signs of life than his guardian.
Driven by desperation more than anything by the confusing maze he paused and turned, slowly reaching up and grasping one of the handles to the side door, so gingerly he pulled it open and peeked inside, his mouth fell open. It was a forest...inside a room. Did he somehow get outside? In awe he pulled the door open all the way leaving it standing wide open as he stepped inside, it was a tropical forest he soon discovered although unaware of it. Hot and humid it soon plastered fur and clothes against his skin. He wasn't aware of it but this was a classroom. Designed with a specialized terrain to teach different D-corp kids there skills. And it might have been artificial but it seemed very...alive. He could hear bugs and birds, frogs and other animals calling all around him and his ears twitched. More intrigued and somehow convincing himself this is where his guardian must be he started to walk down the little path provided, but soon coming to a dead end and the bank of a man made lake. Glistening crystal clear.

Just a few feet from the mole boy sat an empty wheel chair with a blonde woman standing next to it. Laerwen, guardian to Laesneniel, stood and watched over the little sea horse child as she swam about the little lake. Previously she had asked to use these facilities to work on her swimming and camouflage skill. The pool at home was nice, but it was not large enough to fully test the skill of speed. Learwen did not like the idea of her child going out too far, so for now she just made sure that she swam around in the shallow end. She may be a sea creature, but she was still very young.
As the sound of little feet broke the natural sounds of the tropical wood Laesneniel looked down the lake and pointed at a, what looked to be, a small black figure. "Lale." She squeaked.
Learwen picked Laesneniel up and set her back in her wheel chair. Learwen refused to look away from her child for more than a moment, especially when she was in the water. When she saw the child by himself he decided to act. The little seahorse girl curled up and readied for the ride she was about to take. It was amusing. She had quickly taken a liking to this contraption. It was fun to ride on. She had her guardian add a bunch of stickers with stars and cowboys riding their horses all over the chair. On the back of the hair hung a small back pack full of day time supplies like a towel and a vest they had just recently bought with a golden star pinned onto the left shoulder. Laesneniel wanted a hat like Cody's, but they could not find one last they went to the mall. It put a little rain cloud on the day for a while, but after a little swim about things got better. "Hello? Are you alright?" Learwen called to the little boy as she approached.

Taren had simply been watching the pair with interest, it had taken him a few minutes to find the thing the women was watching as by the way she was staring it must be very interesting and it was. A small child, a few years younger than himself, just a baby really but she could swim really well and she didn't have any legs like Nibal used to. He looked for any growing stubs of legs but didn't say anything. How odd.
However when he was noticed at first by the seahorse girl then shortly after by her mother he back peddled so fast it looked like something had bitten him.He only just avoided running backwards into one of the tall colorful tropical trees, the foliage forcing him to stop and stand looking at them, well he always could run away but he had wanted to find people right? He looked at them nervous and obviously shy as he tried to bury himsel more in the lose folds of the shirt.
But at the question his little body trembled a bit and a sniffling sound could be heard as he whipped at his eyes and nose which had once again become icky and runny, fat tears making new tracks through his fur on both cheeks. "I'm lost." he sobbed softly as he whipped at his face again with those large claws. "M...mummy Silen i..is g..g..gone and I can't ind my way out."

Laerwen paused as the little kid bolted, but continued after him after a short moment. Poor thing. It just about broke her heart to see the little kid start to cry.
She knelt in front of him, being sure to keep a somewhat comfortable distance as it was obvious that he was shy. "We can look for your Mom, I'm sure she is around here somewhere." She spoke calmly.
Laesneniel's tail curled around her arm as she back as far as she could into her chair. This kid was weird and had huge eyes and big claws! But the fact he was crying made her feel a little bad for him. His cloths were very baggy... was that how they were supposed to be? The fact Lae was trying to answer all these questions kept her starring at him with a confused look on her face. She felt a little bad for doing it, a little, but it couldn't be helped.

Taren sniffled his breath coming in the short little gasps of a small kid trying to get their own crying under control, as he continued to rub at his eyes only making them even more red stained than they had already been made by his tears. His little pink nose twitched abit and he looked back up at the women with the toddler. The girl was staring at him oddly and he moved away from her trying to edge towards the women while avoiding her.
He shuffled yet closer to Laerwen and looked up at her with those brown eyes so enlarged by the glasses still glistening with the moist tears that lingered and threatened to start spilling over again soon althrough he was making a valiant effort to stop that, he didn't like crying in front of people he didn't know.
"please, I can't find her on my own. My name is Taren." he offering shooting another look at the odd looking girl with no legs. She was still looking at him. Nervously he scooted slightly behind Learwen so the other could only see half of him from where she sat in the wheelchair.

Laesneniel was nearly in a tight ball by the time he was behind her guardian. She leaned over the seat once to try and get a better picture of the mole child, but quickly looked away and focused on one of the multicolored trees. "orry.... " She whispered very quietly.
Laerwen looked up at Laesneniel than back at Taren. She smiled warmly at him, hoping that it would give him some sense of security. "I'm Laerwen and that's Laesneniel." She pointed up to the seahorse child. It was obvious their names were difficult to pronounce, and didn't expect him to get any of them perfectly.
"Do you remember where you last saw your Mom?" Laerwen asked not to quickly change the subject of the introduction, they could do a proper one once they found his mother.

Taren blinked up at the two deciding not to repeat the names he had been given because well he was having trouble even repeating them mentally. Esspicaly Laerwen because he had always had a problem with r's. Adding them or leaving hem out in the most random words since he was small. Better now of course but still occasionally it would slip. But the following question distracted him anyway.
"hmmm we were coming back from me having shots." He explained slowly. "shots are horrible they stick you with..." He paused thoughtfully as he tried to remember the correct name his mother had told him. "Pins." He finished, well that was close. "But the lady was nice and gave me a lollipop." He said again stopping he lifted up the shirt carefully reveling he actually was wearing shorts underneath surprising he opened the pocket and pulled out a half finished lollipop, sticky it had got some of the inside fluff from his pocket stuck to it and looked non to appetizing but he displayed it proudly none the less before carefully replacing it in his pocket....hmm nice.
He was rambling a bit but then he always did when he was nervous. "Then we came out and were going back home to the apa...r..r.rtment" he said stumbling over that r before getting it right. "Then when we came down the hall I dropped my blankie so I turned to pick it up and she was gone." He pulled out a tattered blue blanket from a small purple bag which he had been wearing on his back and hugged it close with giant claws for comfort, before replacing that in the bag aswell.

The more Taren spoke about what had happened the more she got to thinking about it. So they had just finished getting their shots and were walking, and than the next second she was gone. Laerwen was fairly new to this whole building and had yet to figure out the entire lay out and all that, but she was sure there was an intercom in this large building... right? It would be best if the mother came to them, if it was possible.
"Well, I think I have an idea... Let's head to the front desk and see if we can't call your Mom from there." She stood up and looked toward the exit. "It would be quicker than looking all over the building."
Laesneniel looked back at the two. She had no idea what they were talking about, and her confusion reflected on her face. Her tail uncurled from her arm and wrapped around the arm of the chair.

Taren had finished making sure he had ll his pressure treasures secured in bag and pocket, patting each one happily before turning his attention back to the women, oh the intercom? The thing which made someone's voice heard all over the building. His mother had told him about that. That was a clever idea, so this women was obviously extremely smart the mole boy deduced with child like logic. Who better to help him find his mum?
"okay." he said brightening a little, at least he didn't look like he was going to burst into tears again at any moment and his tear wet fur dried quickly in the hot room. He walked back out in front of them. Waiting politely for them to follow him to the exit of the special designed room. although he liked the room and was interested as well about how outside could be inside the most pressing matter for him was finding his guardian.
He hurried forward to the exit sticking his head out of the door again and turning his head one way then the other he wilted again. "Ummm, I don't know which way we have to go to the front desk either it all look the same." he said disappointed.

Laerwen followed alongside Taren with Laesneniel. She kept her pace just slow enough for a comfortable walk for the little child. "Hmm, let's see." She hummed as she looked down the hall left and right. Previously they had come from the left, no, the right? Crap. She was very new to this building and had yet to memorize the halls and rooms.
Laesneniel looked over the side of the wheel chair at Taren. She had seen the lovely candy he displayed earlier and had been thinking about shots and what they were and if that meant that he was brave. "What's a p-pen?" She whispered to him. Her mouth just barely visible from over the side of wheelchair arm.

Taren was able to relax now the women was an adult and he was safe in the child logic that adults could handle anything thrown at them and most often were able to solve any problem even if they wouldn't let him have sweets sometimes. still this women would sort everything out.
He looked over at the strange girl as she spoke, coral colour hair framing her face. Pens? oh pins. He paused and eyed her judging weather or not he should tell her, she might get scared. But she wanted to know. "it's long and this and sharp and they stick it in you and infect you with mediciens." he said puffing himself up to seem more knowalage. "and it hurts for a bit and the put a plaster on it. "lookie." he told her and pulled up the sleeve of his shirt to show her the small round plaster there.

Just then a shout came from the end of the hall. "Taren! There you are thankgoodness." The mole boy looked up to see a tall women standing at the far end of the hall, white hair pulled back in a loose braid but her face was that of a young women in her mid twenties. She was looking quite exasburated at this point through still relief was obvious as she spotted her charge.
Taren himself was obviously beyond joy at being reunited with his guardian. His little face lit up and he ran towards her only to be scopped into the warm and comfort of her arms burying his head into her collar and wrappeding his arms round her neck as tightly as possiable. He found himself sniffling a little again. "I got lost!" he told her.
Silen sighed stroking his head gently. "shhh you're okay now, I thought you were right behind me." She looked up then at the other women and the D-corp child in the pram, no legs to speak of and she seemed to have an Aquatic air about her, a seahorse maybe? "Were you the ones that found him?" she smiled. "thankyou, I was worried when I saw he wasn't following me and then he wondered off like that, but thankyou again. I hope we can see you around D-corp again. Sorry I cant stay right now we have another appointment to keep." she told them bowing her head a little in thanks and turning to go. Taren looking back and waving as the pair left.
