Princess Ganymede
Location: Reception

Ganymede’s brow twitched. Her red painted lips, already threatening to dip, slid even closer to a frown. Her fingers curled reflexively, nails digging into her palms, but she forced them back open. There was no point in getting worked up over a ghost.

She hadn’t seen Serenity in… eleven years, almost? Longer than some among them had known of their powers. Longer than others among them had been on Earth. Longer than one or two among them had been alive. Ganymede had cared little for her then. She cared little for her now. Whatever caused the war, whatever Serenity had done when war was at her doorstep, it hardly mattered. What the war had become in Serenity’s death had nothing to do with her anymore.

Instinctively, Ganymede shifted forms—from trailing red with black ruffles to layers of pristine white; silvery wings stretched out behind her; diamonds glittered around her shoulders; bejeweled rings flashed on her fingers; teardrop pearls swayed within the diamond arches of her tiara.

“It’s been a long time,” she said, expression as neutral as she could make it, greeting the ghost with something she hoped looked like indifference.

“Everyone, meet Queen Serenity.”

Sailor Fang, Eternal Senshi of Chrysocyon

Fang tilted his head, staring at the ghostly lady who had suddenly appeared, asking what they were doing here. His brow furrowed when Princess Ganymede shifted to her Princess form and he shifted to get closer to her, subconsciously feeling safer near a Princess. Also, she seemed to know who this... "Queen Serenity" was. The precise, cool indifference of Ganymede's tone and face made his tail twitch in discomfort. Something was wrong. He didn't know anything about this ghostly queen, but he didn't trust her. He'd never exactly met Princess Ganymede before, but she'd come to his planet and helped him destroy the Chaos on it. She must have had a good heart. If she didn't greet this queen with the beautiful warmth he knew she was capable of, they must have already met and clashed.

"Who she?" he asked Ganymede, tail stiffening. "Someone important?"

Eternal Sailor Kerberos

"Gany, Val!" Kerberos greeted his friends with a cheery wave, glad to see them join in time to find out exactly what kind of thing they'd managed to unlock with everyone's aid.

Honestly, he'd sort of expected that maybe a barrier would come down and they'd find some kind of magical item, or blueprints, or....he didn't know. The abstract kind of answers they'd have to guess at to put together, or some ancient legacy that might put them on the right path.

And, well. Sort of.

The ghostly woman who appeared was beautiful, certainly. But she wasn't familiar--not until Ganymede addressed her.

Queen Serenity. Not the Serenity who had started all this trouble, in the messy version of the story he'd heard, passed from person to person years ago and ultimately originating with Beryl (perhaps the least unbiased source he'd ever encountered). Realistically, he knew almost nothing about her, except that she apparently existed and Ganymede sounded less than pleased to see her. But still certainly someone important. And perhaps the one with the answers they sought.

So, he stepped forward. Perhaps he was one fo those best positioned to answer her question, anyway.

"You'll forgive the lack of formalities," he said. "We come on behalf of the Earth, seeking help in fighting an ancient enemy of the Moon Kingdom. The being known as the Herald of the Dark Star approaches, and we want to stop it. For good, ideally. Is there anything you know, any knowledge you can share, that might help us?"

He turned, and beckoned Murikabushi over.

"Myself and several others were pulled to a place that we think was a prison for it. There, we found murals, and magical spikes--Muri, could you show her?"

Cynthus, Squire of the Moon

“Woooooaah.”

Cynthus would have asked who the hell is this lady, but her question was answered almost immediately by Ganymede. Of course, having an answer didn’t diminish her surprise or confusion, if only because she hadn’t expected Queen Serenity to look like… well… that. She was very… white. Okay, maybe her hair was supposed to be silver, but all together it didn’t make much of a difference. Also she was younger looking than Cynthus expected. (Weren't Queens usually kind of old these days?) Not that she knew what to expect. Ganymede hadn’t given too many details when Cynthus wheedled the story out of her and the details she did give were… well... kind of boring. So Cynthus had forgotten some of them.

She grabbed Reims by the arm and dragged him a little closer to Ephesus and Amarynthos, expecting Rose, Dering, and Yvoire to shuffle on over with them. (It wasn’t like they were all that far away to begin with.) The Chibi (Eupheme) trying to hide behind Reims’ cape got a roll of the eyes, but if she insisted on maintaining her hiding spot she’d have to make the few steps with them.

“Oh my God, did Ganymede ever tell you about her?” Cynthus asked her friends, lowering her voice to something that still amounted to a very loud whisper.

She expected Ephesus and Amarynthos already knew because Sessrumnir always seemed to be In The Know, but Rose, at least, shook her head. Cynthus took that as an indication that the rest must be completely clueless.

“Okay, so Queen Serenity was, like, totally into the Prince of Earth back in the day. Like, a long, long time ago. I think his name was Endy—uhhh—metriosis? No, that’s not it. Whatever. Go with it. And then there was Queen Beryl who became Queen of the Negaverse. Not the one they have now. Before her. Or… before whoever was before her? I don’t know. Anyway, so Queen Beryl was… uhhh… Endy’s… mother? Or something? She wasn’t happy about Endy and Serenity getting it on. Maybe she had an oedipus complex? So then it was like the clash of the Queens. Beryl attacked the Moon Kingdom with the power of Metallica because she thought Serenity was using her son to take over the Earth!”

Yvoire, Squire of Ganymede

“Cynthus,” Yvoire hissed. He did a much better job lowering his voice than she did. “I don’t think that’s right.”

Super Sailor Surtur of Desolation
Note: Surtur is a DSS but looks human and would not be distinguishable from any other Senshi from Earth.

“You’re going to get me into a lot of trouble young lady,” Surtur sighed in disbelief as he finally caught up to where Eupheme had escaped to, watching as she shuffled along with a small group of teenage knights. The Moon had been the original plan, but he had to make sure that she hadn’t wandered off somewhere else, first.

He had his hands on his hips as he shook his head, both at Eupheme and the “story” that Cynthus was telling them, but his attention was already drawn to the strange projection of supposedly Queen Serenity.

He’d never met her before his World was shut off, but as a Moon of Saturn, he was well aware of the close ties the Sol System planets had with the Moon Kingdom.

The Moon Kingdom had done countless good deeds throughout its history, per the records of the time. They were seen as a benevolent force of justice and peace by many. Surtur only assumed those who did not see the Moon Kingdom in such a light were either jealous of their success and notoriety, or perhaps they thought they knew more than the rest, but conveniently failed to share those findings. Or maybe just suspicious of those wanting to do the right thing, despite all odds.

At least the Moon Kingdom seemed to shake off any negative nicknames.

He waited until the other started searching for the magical spike to share, before speaking up as well, filling in the gap of silence while it was pulled out.

“Storms, identifiable by their purple hue and non-traditional lightning, have been cropping up on many of our Worlds. Earth included, of course. Some, myself included, believe it is trying to tear holes through the universe with the intention of making shortcuts,” he shared, his expression and voice solemn.

He believed Almadel’s intuition above possibly anyone else. With his experience and by nature of being well traveled, he had to trust that the man knew how things in the universe worked.

Surtur had been trying to track Almadel down to bring up to the Moon with him -- because who else could sneak their way into places they don’t belong better than that man? But things hadn’t worked out, and his ward had escaped him. Temporarily.

Reims, Knight of Ganymede

He rolled his eyes when the chibi (Eupheme) that had once “beaten” him in an arm wrestling match decided to hide behind him. He didn’t care what she did as long as she didn’t bother him.

Reims made a face when some magical projection of some lady appeared, and then spoke to them. He knew about some weird things, but right now this was probably the weirdest.

Not that he had much time to reflect on that, since Cynthus decided to grab his arm and drag him over to the others. He clicked his tongue and pulled his arm away from her, shooting her a little glare for her antics.

And then scoffed at the supposed story.

“That sounds like a bunch of bullshit,” he hissed at Cynthus, in agreement with Yvoire as he eyed the man (Surtur) with the horned tiara warily, but he seemed to be there to collect the chibi.

He didn’t like the idea of the creature tearing its way through space, but what the hell were they supposed to do about that??

“You sure Ganymede knows anything if she’s telling you that??”

He cast a glance over his shoulder to make sure Dering was at least close, still. He didn't want him to get lost in whatever commotion the ghost lady caused.

Ephesus, Knight of the Moon

He was startled by the sudden sight of Queen Serenity (according to Ganymede) but figured he didn’t know nearly as much as the adults there, so it was probably best that they all discussed what to do, and he and his friends stayed out of the way.

Ephesus placed one more broken piece of column into the wheelbarrow before frowning with confusion and concern as Cynthus explained everything to them. Sort of. A lot of it didn’t sound right.

“But… isn’t Metallia the one in charge of the Negaverse?” he asked quietly, looking from Cynthus to Amarynthos and then the others to see what they knew. Maybe he didn’t understand or missed some of the information.

Halle Knight of Lysithea
location: Reception Room

A year earlier and maybe he'd have felt the same way as he had meeting and finally talking to Princess Lysithea. This was, in a way, one of the people who would, by common sense, be considered a source of both information and authority. The kind of authority that meant a certain measure of responsibility toward him, toward his brother and cousin, toward Mechelen and any number of Knights. And pages. The pages moreso than anyone else.

But the reality was that they were just girls, and while they may be able to give a few answers, provided they were asked the right questions; they didn't exist to gives him solutions, support, or safety. They had their own problems. In this case...being dead. Maybe. Or maybe just somewhere unreachable, since being dead should mean she was also reincarnated on Earth, right?

Unfortunately, Halle didn't quite know what to ask while they had her here, especially not as a hologram and not as a person physically standing across for him. Fortunately, some people were a lot more prepared. Rubbing his thumb along his signet, Halle summoned up a holographic screen that showed the scene in front of him and started recording. Others would probably want to be able to watch later. And Almere would probably go bananas getting to see a spectral Moon Queen in action.

Santa Maria Novella, Squire of Ganymede
Location: Reception room.

Novella had watched as thigns seemed to start up, as the crystals seemed to power something, it was not what he was expecting. He knew it would do something; it simply had to. But to see some women, a hologram of a woman, appear and address everyone...well that wasn't expected. She was pretty, and he did note the cresent moon on her forehead, and just as he was wondering who she was someone answered.

That someone was in a fancy dress with wings, too fancy, he really didn't see the point in such fancy clothing as it seemed impracticle. So did what this Queen Serenity was wearing. But as others started asking her things Novella took to seating himself on the floor and staring up at Halle. He wasn't ignoring things, although he wished he could, he did stare up at the other for a moment. He had never heard of this Queen Serenity, and while she was royal of some sort he also assumed she wasn't around or they wouldn't be dealing with a hologram. So she really couldn't be upset with him seating himself on the ground.

From where he sat he listened to the others around him, picking up bits and pieces here and there, he finally spoke up just loud enough for Halle to hear him. "Why are we dealing with a hologram? They seem to be important...why?" And not just because they were royal. Royal didn't mean much to him, just look at the imbreeding of royals in the past on Earth, it really didn't mean much to him.

Another glance to the hologram and he shook his head - impractical clothing. Not to mention all that long hair...just a way for someone to grab you and pull you about. Even his short curly hair could be grabbed and pulled, it had happened before, and you could be dragged by it.

Deep Space Super Sailor Pyrrhus

Oh. s**t.

Pyrrhus had gone out of his way to have as little interaction as possible with the Moon Kingdom, once upon a time. As much as he longed to get his hands on some fancy Moon tech, he had a feeling that the prosperous, generally-regarded-as-benevolent Moon Kingdom would not take kindly to a mercenary and thief whose main source of income and entertainment was Doing Crimes.

So. Maybe if he was very, very still, the hologram of Queen ******** Serenity (or the actual living Princess present who might or might not have opinions) wouldn't notice he was there.

"s**t," he hissed, under his breath. "None of us pocketed anything, right?"

Super Sailor Solaris in Reception

So much for any evidence. Solaris sighed through her nose, tucking away the vision for another time, perhaps--this wasn't the moment to devote to exploring for information on those cards and keypads. Not when some of the others brought in crystals, and it... well. Triggered quite the reaction.

For a moment, she could only stand in silence, eyes wide as she beheld the image of... well, according to Ganymede, Queen Serenity. A hologram or something was one thing. The fact that it moved and spoke to them was... both fascinating, in terms of she wondered how the technology worked, but unnerving..? She wasn't entirely sure how to feel about it. Depended on what sort of information they could get, really.

Pulling her phone from subspace, she sent out a quick series of texts to Alastor.
Quote:
On the Moon
Queen Serenity's here
Hologram
Or ghost
Both?
See ya soon!

If only because she couldn't imagine why he wouldn't head up to join them with that message--unless something was up but uh... Her gaze flicked to where she'd seen Ephesus and Amarynthos, and removed them from her mental good reasons to not show up list.

She heard one of the other senshi, Kerberos, speak up, and felt her spine stiffen slightly. On behalf of Earth. They were. He wasn't wrong. She could assume, logically, he meant nothing by it, but something in her grated. He asked for one of the others who'd been pulled with them, Murikabushi, to bring out the spike he had, and as another man (Surtur) voiced a hypothesis she was relieved to hear others shared--even if teleportation and ripping holes in space were different, point was--she stepped up a bit herself.

"We have two of the spikes," she said to the hologram, pulling the one she had taken from the prison out of subspace. Kerberos and the other man had brought up the main important bits--any further questions she had needed to wait to first hear what the hologram had to say.

Mauvian Realta in Reception

Her laugh was light, tail swaying behind her as she smiled down at Aquitania. "They can, though not all have the power to do so immediately. Took me a while before I could." The light from the crystal was dazzling, but she stepped back, aware of others moving into the room--and more people putting in two more crystals. Wonderful!

The fact the pedestal looked like it could move, as pointed out by the young girl, made her ears flick forward, eyes on the object. "Maybe once the crystals are all set, it will move, or a section of the wall--" The last of the crystals was set in, and her ears flicked as she could hear the humming from the pedestal. The light show was beautiful, of course, but the resulting... hologram? She was baffled, ears alert as she listened to the forming conversation.

Though her ears twitched a bit at some of the not so quiet whispers from some of the knights, and had to suppress a smile. The pressing matter was the thing coming for the Earth--but if they had time, she wondered if the... hm... the program, perhaps, given the USB the Knight of Cosmos placed into the pedestal, would be able to give them a history lesson...

Eternal Murikabushi of Hunger
Location: Reception Area.

Honestly, Murikabushi wasn’t sure what he’d expected to happen from ranting at the barrier and trying to commune with it. But something unseen emanating a sense of being disappointed in him didn’t feel like it was anywhere on the list. More than anything else, it made him wrinkle his nose like a particularly ill-behaved rabbit who couldn’t believe the bullshit it was hearing (even though, out here in reality, Murikabushi heard only the voices of other people who’d come out to try and help with this project).

If not for Aruna apparently getting through to whatever consciousness they were dealing with out here, he was ready to be very upset.

But, once she’d made Kaifeng and Erytheia’s weapons fall from the ceiling, revealing the hidden mechanism of something, everything seemed to pick up the pace. It was like getting this much closer to the goal gave reality itself the motivation to speed things up, with three different participants—a Mauvian, a Squire, and a Super Senshi, none of whom Murikabushi recognized from anywhere—placing shiny little orbs on the pedestal where the mechanism stood. After that, some pretty in pink popcorn-looking senshi revealed a USB port in the side of the pedestal and Erytheia installed it.

Then, somewhat more interestingly than anything else, Kerberos’s friend who’d organized all of this showed up. While Ganymede was perhaps shorter than Murikabushi had expected, that didn’t feel too odd. Ida and Cybele were both pretty petite as well, and Ganymede certainly had the right kind of glamour for a princess senshi (in Muri’s own gay little brain, where “princess senshi” entailed not only massive responsibilities and probably more inherent risk than any other kind of senshi faced, but also a level of fabulousness that went unmatched by anyone else).

It took superhuman effort to restrain himself from applauding when Ganymede busted out the full royal effect. Truly, few in this universe were as brave and gay as Murikabushi watching Ganymede’s lacy, ruffled fuku shift into an absolutely ******** stunning gown, decked out in jewels and sparkle and the full princess fantasy. He kept his hands clasped together in front of him and his feet planted firmly on the floor, but that didn’t make him any less awed by the glamour and the It-Girl Factor of the princess he’d only heard about until right now (and still hadn’t really met).

By contrast, the ghost or hologram or whatever of Queen Serenity, Murikabushi mostly regarded with an arched eyebrow. Maybe she was grander and more impressive under other circumstances or something? Such as, when she didn’t have to share the stage with someone like Ganymede? But given enough fabric, Murikabushi and his sewing machine could’ve tossed together a passable dupe of Queen Serenity’s basic b***h strapless gown in under half-an-hour. The bow on the chesticle area would’ve been the most complicated part and even that wouldn’t have been terribly difficult.

As talkative as he normally was, Murikabushi would’ve been content to just be quiet and keep his thoughts to himself for once, to defer to Kerberos because……honestly, the spike should’ve chosen him as its bearer in the first place? Like, this was obvious to anyone with a brain, yes? Between the two of them Kerberos had worked harder, he’d done more, he’d paid over a decade of dues as a senshi by now, he was on a personal name basis with Cosmos (probably?) and both halves of the Velencyans’ ridiculous Space Cherik nonsense leadership (none of whom knew that Muri even existed, as far as he knew, since it wasn’t as if you could just text Cosmos like a normal person and “Tell the beautiful, sad Space Magneto that I say ‘hi’” wasn’t a request Muri actually expected Kerberos to honor on hearing that he was going to go meet with Commodore Lyndin).

But there Blossom went, putting him on blast by……uh, calling him over to where Kerberos stood with the most gorgeous royal in the room and some Jupiter Knight whom Kerberos had greeted with her. Putting up no fight about it—lest that make a worse impression than whatever he inevitably said—Murikabushi went to Kerberos’s side and produced the spike from his subspace. First, he held it out for Ganymede and Val (—oh, right, Valhalla? that was it, right?) to see; then, for Queen Serenity’s………ghostogram, or whatever.

“The murals where we found these indicated that there should have been six of these,” Murikabushi told the Queen, “but one of them was broken or something? Hence, this creature escaping, it seems like? As for the other five, we have two here. Any others that made it out of there will likely be with members of the Negaverse, if they made it out of there. They were the others present in the probably-a-prison with me, Kerberos, Solaris, and Encke.”

At least, he really hoped they all had the spikes. But beyond that, Muri had no idea which of them had the spikes or didn’t.

“The storms have already been hurting people,” Murikabushi added, thinking back to some of what he’d read on the Order database. “A Code Piece on someone’s Wonder warned that the storms might do damage to home-worlds and wonders alike. Two different senshi have shared pictures of injuries sustained after getting hit by lightning. One of them……” He waved, trying to get Tempesti’s attention. “Hey, Tempesti! Do you have the photo of the mark the lightning strike left on your arm?”

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter

Sessrumnir had received a text from Valhalla around the same time Alastor’s phone indicated he received a text as well. He was surprised that anything came from venturing to the Moon. Surely it would have been locked down better than it was, but he was grateful for a chance to get answers regardless.

Let’s let the boys figure things out on their own, he’d suggested to Alastor when Ephesus and Amarynthos voiced their desire to head up to the Moon with their friends. Surely having adults -- especially parents -- hovering would dampen any creativity for finding solutions.

But with the notification that something did transpire came through, it didn’t take long for he and Alastor to wrap up what they’d been working on before traveling to the Moon.

He was glad to see so many people there, although his eyes were immediately drawn to that of Queen Serenity. The last time he'd seen her was when they'd been pulled to the safety of the Moon, along with his brothers and Ganymede after a cowardly attack by Chaos.

With Solaris, Surtur, and Kerberos asking questions or offering information already, Sessrumnir stood with his arms crossed as he waited for a response. Although he momentarily offered their son and his friends a small smile in greeting.

Eternal Sailor Oberon of Adventure

Oberon would be twenty-five that year, but he’d only been eleven the last time he’d seen Queen Serenity. It had been his first time on the Moon. And it had been the day his dreams of being an astronaut proved to be wholly useless.

Perhaps that was when his blazé attitude towards things began, but it certainly grew more prominent over the years.

He’d received the text from Valhalla, of course. His brother knew that he wanted to be informed of anything that was happening with the Moon. Other than Valhalla, Sessrumnir, and Ganymede, he didn’t recognize anyone who had been there all those years ago, but it didn’t matter. They were asking for the Moon Kingdom’s help now. Back then, they’d been rescued after a horrific ambush by the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror.

“Careful,” he said to the others as they spoke to the Queen and showed off the items they’d obtained. “No one should get their hopes up. The Moon Kingdom has strict guidelines about who they will help and who they won’t. We might not have enough to offer to a dead Queen to be worth saving. Anyway, you’re wasting time looking at scars when we know the thing is trying to rip through space. We need a way to stop it from breaking through.”

Sailor Tempesti/Rowan Trumoia
Location: Reception

Tempesti watched with a mixture of amusement and trepidation as the others addressed the ghost with varying degrees of respect. It seemed like the obvious was in fact true, this was apparently what remained of the Moon Kingdom’s ruler. If she had known anything about this woman in another life, that information had long since vanished into whatever void swallowed memories between stints out of the Galaxy Cauldron.

Queen Serenity didn’t seem particularly interested in disintegrating them, though she had no idea how quickly that might change depending upon how the undead(?) queen received their answers. Whatever ideas she had about the capriciousness of royalty further cemented the senshi’s desire to keep her lips firmly shut in terms of addressing the hologhost.

Murikabushi on the other hand hadn’t given the impression of self-importance she associated with smiting those who raised one’s displeasure. Trotting over while keeping an anxious eye on Serenity, she extracted her phone from the subspace, “I do, just give me a moment.” With a few flicks across the screen she pulled up the photo in question. The snake’s unfriendliness hadn’t magically softened in the time since she’d last looked at its face. “Here,” She handed the eternal senshi her phone, quietly pleased that she had something that might possibly be useful.

Amarynthos, Knight of the Moon (and Dering, Knight of Lysithea)

“What? Cynthus, Prince Endometriosis?” Amarynthos whispered, squinting at her. That didn’t even feel like the most important thing she’d said how was he supposed to trust the rest of her story? Was Ganymede trolling her? What girl was going to fall for Prince Endometriosis? “I really don’t think we’re fighting Metallica either, but–”

Oh! Sessrumnir and Alastor were here! He breathed a little sigh of relief. “I’ll double check that.” He squeezed Ephesus’ hand, in part to make sure he’d seen, and in part to give silent confirmation.

He glanced down at Eupheme, and up at Surtur, and then at Reims. If Reims didn’t move, Eupheme might be able to stay hidden, even if Surtur drew attention over to their corner. He wanted to ignore the butterflies in his stomach because he liked being a Moon Knight but there was something about being in the room with the Moon Queen who hadn’t had (hadn’t wanted?) Moon Knights.

He didn’t think she’d try to take away their power, but…

Amarynthos side eyed the wheelbarrow full of debris and hoped she’d know they were there with good intentions.

He wished he could have just focused on Cynthus’ mangled history lesson, but the conversation in the room was notably heavy.

Surtur was talking about this thing tearing holes in the universe, which definitely wasn’t good news and he hoped Ephesus didn’t forget how to breathe. Surtur was too close for him not to have heard that.

Dering had stayed close to his friends. He was holding the neck of his lute so tightly that his knuckles were white but he wore a sort of blank face. He didn’t seem much invested in Cynthus’ story, and though he was looking at Queen Serenity he also seemed to be staring through her.

Amarynthos didn’t think that was a great sign of things, but Dering was still breathing and he was known to zone out while thinking deeply so maybe he was just locked in.

Eternal Sailor Alastor

Arriving with Sessrumnir, Alastor’s entrance was silent. He found the boys immediately and nodded to them, but in the serious atmosphere he didn’t make much of an effort to get their attention–nor did he have to. They spotted him only a few seconds after he and Sessrumnir arrived so he smiled slightly and nodded.

He crossed his arms over his chest as he surveyed the crowd; Solaris was easy to spot but in case she hadn’t seen him, he texted here a quick ‘Here’. They could catch up later; he wanted to know what he’d missed but he didn’t want to disrupt anyone’s attention.

Queen Serenity was new to him; he’d never seen her, despite the legacy of the Moon Kingdom and its Silver Millennium. He had questions, sure. A thousand of them. He just didn’t know what he’d missed coming into this so he held his tongue and let the others do the speaking.

Sailor Aberdonia of Papyrus

Aberdonia blinked as a senshi he hadn't noticed before in black and red suddenly transformed her outfit into a ruffled white gown dripping with jewels, silvery wings extending behind her. He'd seen a royal before, with Cybele, as near as he could tell, but to see a random senshi transform into a royal senshi was a new and surprising twist.

And she introduced the hologram that appeared as someone called Queen Serenity. And then other people, senshi for the most part, speaking up to tell Queen Serenity what they'd found. He blinked himself out of his slight surprise, shook himself, and took a step toward the hologram, taking a deep breath as he did so.

"Your Majesty, I have found highly damaged records in my homeworld's archives. I couldn't read them, but the few pictures that accompanied the records showed a creature, like a serpent, or like a storm, seeming to devour or chew through worlds. I think they may have been recordings of survivors' tales. I think...I think that, whatever that thing is, it's either heading for Earth...or is going to pass uncomfortably close by. And I don't think it's the latter. I think we're in for a whole lot of trouble if we don't try to stop this creature. Like, 'no planet to live on and fight for anymore' kind of trouble."

Chibi Sailor Aquitania of Courage

Aquitania was startled as the crystals and USB all clicked home to see a dazzling glow and hear a hum. Then, a hologram, an actual HOLOGRAM, appeared, ethereally beautiful, a woman with silvery hair in buns-and-pigtails that trailed to the floor, and a beautiful, form-fitting white dress that also pooled on the floor, with fabric wings attached to the small of her back. Sure, it was simple, but simple could still be really pretty. It was a little disappointing that her theories tonight hadn't panned out, but it was all still an exciting meeting.

Which was a bit spoiled with the serious news that the recent freak storms seemed to be the harbingers of something truly awful. The storms hadn't been isolated to Earth, something was imprisoned, and was now on the loose, ripping holes in reality to shortcut its way to its next meal.

Against her will, a small wave of anxiety overcame her, and she reached for Realta's hand, seeking comfort from the one familiar face in the crowd.

"I don't like any of this, Realta," she murmured, trying not to interrupt the conversation being had with the hologram. "But I don't think 'not liking any of this' gives anybody a free pass to ignore whatever is on the loose. And I think I'm going to have to learn in a big hurry how to get better at being a senshi, so whatever that thing is doesn't succeed in eating the Earth for breakfast."
