As he walked, bird fluttering along behind him, he caught sight of another rare yellow flower. He walked over carefully, and brushed the leaves hiding it from view aside. At this point the bird seemed to know what to do, and it took the leaves again for itself, threading them into his mane to continue eating. "You're still not full?" he asked, though it wasn't as though he was stopping, either.
The breeze was getting a little stronger now, and the light brighter. He was close to whatever clearing he was aiming for, and he felt his ears perk as he approached. Were there more festivities here?

He was distracted from his movement forward by the presence of another flower in a different direction. It'd be worth it to make the detour, though, and he trotted over a little impatiently. This one was purple, again, and its petals were particularly large, and the pollen gathered on it a very bright yellow. This was a good sign, right?
He and the bird worked it free, and he glanced over at his loot thus far. This was...a lot of flowers. With any luck the dire rats would be satisfied by this haul, even if he didn't find exactly what any of them were searching for. Even in the Homewood, clearly, he was at the mercy of what Vykeli provided.

Roll 1
As he waited he was still and quiet. It seemed an eternity of waiting, nothing not a single sound or movement in the close vicinity of where he was. He could hear the flutter of wings farther off in the woods but nothing close to him.
He would look up in the tree frequently trying to see any sign for a creature there but nothing but branches and leaves. Every now and again the branches or leaves would rustle in the gentle breeze and go still.
Now he began to wonder if what he saw and heard were real or he just imagined it all. Closing his eyes he laid his head on his forelegs and decided to rest for a little while. The breeze was soft and cooling as it went across his body and ruffled his mane. His mind began to slow down and he relaxed as he drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

As he lay there sleeping peacefully, a sound made him stir. It came from the dirt path he was traveling looking for flowers.
He opened his eyes, stretched a bit, and got to his feet. He looked around and saw nothing. He decided he needed to get back to the task of finding flowers for the festival.
He took off in the direction of where the festival was being held and noticed a purple flower laying on the side of the path. He picked it up gently and continued on his way.
He knew he needed to find blue and yellow flowers as they were the rarest among those collected at least from what he and his new companion friend had found.
He had found an overabundance of pink flowers, he began to wonder if he would be able to ask for some extra to make a headpiece for a friend. He was sure Arabyn would love it! After all, he wanted to impress the does so why not do it in style? He laughed as he imagined Arabyn with the headpiece on prancing and preening in front of a female. He could not stop laughing. his eyes began to tear up and his vision became obscured.
He stopped to compose himself. It took several minutes but he finally calmed down enough to continue on.

Betty was setting her heart on finding more yellow flowers since she still had not found one yet. I was kind of said really and made her thing that maybe the botanic nouls show take some yellow flower seed to plant more for next year. With a sign she watch as two other nouls passed her by with the elusive yellow flower. She wondered where they had found them because she was really not having any luck right now. As she turned back to her task of finding the flower she trying to imagen where a yellow flower would want to be. She knew it was kind of silly but she was willing to try just about anything at this point. Moving away form her current spot she knew just standing around was not going to help. Her really really wanted to find a yellow flower. More determined then before she set out to the farthest edges of the meadow in hopes that no noul else had gone that for out for a flower. Between the imagination and determination she hoped her had a sure thing in finding something.

No longer distracted by the decadence, Minx carried on. Her bag was starting to get full, but she was quite sure there was room for a few more things. And perhaps room in her stomach for another tree or two. She cast her eyes around, looking for her next target. Another arrangement of roses was right near some roasted roots. While she certainly preferred sweeter things, a root wouldn't hurt either. She waited, as other creatures drifted away from the roots, after having taken one. At a lull, she wandered over, doing her best to seem as casual as possible.

She reached up and carefully grabbed the plumpest root she spotted. It was still warm. A smile spread across her face. A root like this would keep, too! At least for a few days. She carefully placed it in her pouch, careful not to smear cooked root on her flowers. This one she would save for later. She reached up again, and took a second root. This one went right into her mouth. After a moment of consideration, she reached up and selected a third root, which immediately went into her bag. A day not needed to spent wondering where a meal was coming from was a day she could be even more productive with, after all.
