Two fine flowers in her bag Minx was starting to feel a little peckish. While she had a few small supplied in her bag, there were far tastier treats close at hand. A sweet scent of honey fruit drifted by on the breeze. Such a fancy treat wasn't usually something Minx got to enjoy. Fruit spoiled fast unless dried and honey was hard to home by. Minx rarely bothered to trade for it and wasn't willing to get stung to pilfer any herself. She glanced around, looking to see if anyone was watching the spread. No eyes appeared to be on it. Minx could hardly believe her luck! A sweet, succulent treat like that, left totally unattended. One last look, and Minx crept forward. She stood up on her hind legs, and reached out with a quick hand. She snatched a honey covered apple slice and jammed it into her mouth. As she chewed, enjoying the treat, she snatched some sort of orange, juicy fruit she'd never even seen before. This seemed like an excellent time to sample such a delicacy. Swallowing the apple, she put the next piece of fruit into the mouth and then scampered back to a safe hiding place. Back in her hidey hole, she looked around, making sure no one had spotted her. She was really having fun now. Even more so now that she was being more help then stress in the long run for the dire rats. She giggled at her earlier mistake. She shock her head at how silly she must have looked to the sweet dire rat that simple just passed out the flowers they did not have use for. Then a thought occurred to her, Why were they only picking those colors? "Humm..." she wondered if maybe they only liked those colors or if there was something more to it. "Maybe they could only see those colors." she muse offered up with a shrug. With a sigh she skipped over to the a patch of beautiful purple flowers. Bending down she took a smell of it sweet flowerily cent. "Umm this is a very pretty flower. Oh and your the right color." She said to the flower. Checking for thorns this time her mouth still stinging form the earlier mistake, she picked the vibrate purple flower. "No you got no bit in you." she smiled at the long leaves and smooth stem. Then she skipped back to the meadow to bring her new findings.

Day 4
Roll 1
The feeling of being watched grew as he wandered around looking for flowers. He could not see anything out of the ordinary but the feeling was one he could not shake.
As he carried the flowers back the rat he was helping asked him to find Yellow or Blue flowers seemed there was an abundance of Pink and Red.
He agreed absent kindly and walked over to place the flowers down to be sorted and areangee into bouquets or banners.
He decided to go in the opposite direction hoping he would feel more at ease. He noticed a few familiar species moving about bit nothing else.
He was looking for the two.colors the rat specified he locate when he heard a sound behind him. Whipping around he again saw a flash of a tailand then nothing
Without thinking he ran after the tail hoping to get answers. He only went a few feet when he almost ran into a group of Nouls who were arranging flowers
Embarrassed he truned around and trotted off .

As he was leaving he noticed aseveral Pink flowers laying about. Without thinking he picked them up and kept going.
He looked for his rat companion but no luck. He was probably on the other side of the clearing
He shook his mane and decided to look for the colors he was to to.
He saw several bushes with flowers on it noticing what he thought was a flash of Blue he trotted over. Before he got there he again heard a noise like dirt falling from the side of a bill. It will a soft sound but enough to alert him that he was not alone.

It seemed like there was a reason the rats' other helpers hadn't gathered here, though: Guitian was having trouble finding another specimen of this particular flower in this clearing. He went for one last sweep to be sure before he exited, though he was fairly certain he wouldn't manage to turn up anything new. The clearing was fairly small, after all.
He was careful not to disturb the critters in their nest this time around, either, tuning his search so that he was just a little above knee-height. A little trill startled him halfway through, and he turned to find a bird with large eyes looking right at him.
Guitian dipped his head in greeting. He was fairly certain it couldn't speak, but...with all that had happened lately, well, who knew?

The bird flapped its tiny little wings in response, and then it took flight - but it didn't go very far.
Guitian took a moment to admire the slight iridescence on its neck - birds were really so fascinating that way - before he realized that a shadow was passing over his vision. A shadow that happened to be...
Oh! Startled, he looked up at the bird, which had resettled in a different branch. It was ruffling its chest feathers now, looking as though it had not done anything at all. It must've noticed the flowers curled into his mane, though, or it wouldn't have brought him yet another. "That's very gracious of you," he said. "Thank you.

As Guitian bent to pick up the flower, he realized that it wasn't alone. The bird had given him two flowers, for whatever reason - a pink and a purple, both of which he curled delightedly into his mane again. It'd be a little sad to give these up to those dire rats, he thought. On reflection, though, some of Vykeli's most beautiful sights were transient.
He turned back to the bird and bent his front knees in a bow. He hadn't expected this kindness at all. Was all of the Homewood like that? Creatures didn't compete with you for sustenance...
It certainly was different here. He'd have to consult those rats, when he made it back to their clearing. And it was high time he moved on from here - the clearing was too small for it to be worth removing more flowers than the ones he'd already taken (or been gifted). "I'll see you around," he called, turning tail.

Treat well and truly enjoyed, Minx was ready to hunt out more flowers. If no one was going to stop her, why let them go to waste? Minx was quite sure that no one would put them to better use than she would anyhow. From under the arrangement she was hiding she tried to scope out another worthy target. No point in taking risks for something that wouldn't yield good trade value ... Across the party she spotted what she thought might be jasmine. That would certainly have some value when it was dried out. But it was an awfully long away ... Inventory: PurplePurplePink

But, there were no rewards without risk. And Minx was ready to take quite the risk. She'd spent enough time time watching this party to note that many of the rats were simply wandering about, out in the open. And these Noulicorns didn't seem to be paying all that much attention to who was here. Minx decided that perhaps she could simple blend in with the crowd. It made her want to laugh. A rat, blending in at a celebration in Homewood. She certainly thought she'd never live to see the day. Extricating herself from the arrangement she was perched under, she sauntered towards the jasmine. Inventory: PurplePurplePinkRed
