She had arrived so late that she had though for sure she would not get to do much. But this was more then she could ask for. Skipping back in to the open meadow in search of more flowers she wondered what more she would find in out her. Two white peaceful butterflies flutter pass her and on to a group of blue flowers. "Well thank you." She said to them as the kiss the flowers but flutter way unsatisfied with the nectar form those flowers. Walking over the the blue flowers Betty picks them and manages to grab two at one time. "Great a two for one deal." She thought happily as she took the flowers back. Not stopping to chit chat with the nice dire rat she head back out again. This time she went farther into the meadow to see if she could find something different. That's when she spots a very vibrant red flower and knows she has to have it. Skipping over she can see that is flower has big sharp thorns and is a little more caucuses then she was before. With her hoof she gently knocks the lower thorns form the stem so she does not have a repeat of earlier. Satisficed with the look of the stem she bends down and picks the flower for the dire rats collection.

Day 5 Roll 1
Unnerved he slowed down and looked around him carefully. He was positive he heard a sound although it was a low soft Boise he had heard it none the less
The feeling of being watched grew and it was making his extremely edgy. Every little thing made him turn and investigate.
He realized he was holding his breath and released it quickly. He took a few fulps of air trying to calm himself. He was beginning to feel like a foal who was told a scary story.
Then again he trusted his instincts and they were screaming he was not alone. The issue was he could not find any proof there was someone there or following him.

Day 5 Roll 2
Noticing a small bush with flowers he approached and found a Pink blossom laying on the ground as if awaiting him. He picked it up and continued looking for more blossoms.
This area seemed to have small bushes but most were bare of flowers. It is possible someone already came this way but he did not see anyone around.
He trotted towards the festival when a small branch fell almost in front of him. He stepped back in reflex only to recover and laugh. Looking up there was a tree and it must have broken off.
Continuing on he did not notice the red eyes glaring at him on one of the branches.
Taking a few steps another branch fell before him. He stepped over it and kept on walking. A few seconds later another one, and another.
Realizing this was not natural, Fiontan kept his pace and demeanor as natural as he could. He turned as if leaving the area but immediately back tracked and came up behind the tree.
Hiding behind a large bush he waited.

Only, to his surprise, the bird followed him with a lilting trill. He looked up with a laugh, and tried to skirt around the edges of the partygoers. "Enjoying the hunt?" he asked, though it certainly could neither understand nor respond. It seemed content to keep Guitian's company, though, and he ducked his way around a particularly broad tree so he and the bird could have a bit of peace. If they followed along this way, they would see fewer people...and perhaps more flowers?
Well, Guitian couldn't be so sure of that. There was a little brook running this way, though, and he leapt over it ambly. The bird could fly, so he had no worry there. Away from the press of the crowd, he could feel the ends of his mane lifting in the breeze. Perhaps if he moved toward this wind's origin, he'd find a clearing - these flowers did seem suited to them, though they grew on vines.

He'd been walking on for a few minutes when the bird's tiny clawed feet touched down atop his head. "Friend," he said, with a little laugh. Though he realized then that he'd neglected to look for flowers as he walked - how silly of him!
It would be a waste to backtrack, though. Guitian moved more sedately instead. He had the bird, and a number of lovely little blooms, so it'd only make sense, to keep them safe, right? Really, though, it was nice to walk slowly in the Homewood. It was so cool here, and the air was...well, Guitian didn't know whether there was a word for it, but it certainly wasn't dry. He liked that. Green was really a lovely color, too, wasn't it?

His pace was rewarded when he spotted a delicate blue bloom of just the right species. He wasn't the only one, either. The bird sang out, its tone rich and bright, and it took flight again.
"You're quick," he accused when he caught up to it by the tree, though he flicked his tail happily. It was standing - was that the correct word? - sideways upon the tree's trunk, its dextrous little feet gripping the bark for leverage. It didn't yank at the flower, though, as Guitian might have; instead it bit its way through the stem. Guitian positioned himself to catch it, though, and settled the new flower - blue was such an interesting color! - in his mane at a point of honor before turning back to his new companion.
Said companion was currently eating its way through that vine, though it had no shame when Guitian's eyes fell upon it. Well - he supposed this was the way of things, too. "I'm happy to wait," he said pragmatically.

Minx wanted to hold her breath as she boldly strutted right through the party goers, but she didn't dare. That would only draw attention to her. She weaved between many nouls who seemed to be having a lovely time. No surprise, with this much decadence. She wondered just how often they threw big shindigs like these. And what would she have to do to get an invite. If she even needed one. As it stood she was walking right through the party and no one was giving her a second look. Had these Homewood nouls really become this complacent? She resisted shaking her head. Inventory: PurplePurpleRedPinkPinkBlue

Her walk had gone totally uncontested, and Minx arrived at the jasmine she'd spied from her hiding place. It was perfectly fragrant. A value plant for making a sought after tea. If she was able to liberate some of it she'd have more worthy trade fodder. In fact, she was already imagining what sort of loot she'd be able to net. Maybe something to make her lair extra cozy. Or a fancy new trinket. She hadn't had a nice new trinket in some time. As she perhaps settled on that, she finally arrived at the jasmine. She reached out and picked a nice sprig, stuffing it into her bag. Inventory: PurplePurpleRedPinkPinkBlue
