Eventually, and quite suddenly, Prim stopped and simply began to watch Klefki. Which... truthfully made the pokemon nervous. It had been one thing to try and circle her, as weird as that was, but staring? That was a whole new level. It made him feel.. uncomfortable, as if he was being scrutinized. And, quite honestly, he didn't like it. But, before he could begin trying to persuade her to stop, Prim started her circling once more.

Sebastian took note of the pokemon that Jay was listing off as he turned to leave. He’d keep an eye out for the cowboy’s crew while he tried to find his own missing members. He did chuckle a bit, swiping some hair out his face at the comment. "I don’t know, is she safer to use for hair drying? I don’t want it on fire after all." He remarked with amusement, shaking his head and turning to head out the tent, glancing back over his shoulder once more with a nod.
"Don’t worry about it. I’ll be right back." He commented once more before stepping out. It seemed the sudden rain storm had come and passed, leaving a hideous mess of mud and muck in its wake. It was no surprise really, but it certainly brought down the mood of the fair. Those Plasma fellows were well… real jerks. The nurse in the meantime, gave a surprised little gasp as Jay told her the situation. ”Of course, of course! Please, hand her here.” The nurse remarked and without hesitation, gently took the ball from Jay. ”Please, don’t worry. We’ll have her back to good as new in a few minutes, alright?” Once she’d given her reassurance she was of course off to get the task done.
In the meantime, with careful steps in an attempt to keep his shoes from becoming stuck he moved through the fair, Gin still in his arms and Pichu on his shoulders (and Igglybuff still crammed in his bag) as he searched. It wasn’t long though before Sebastian found what he was looking for, a frown immediately crossing his face at the sight of the worn looking Wartortle.
"Hey!" He called, quickly rushing over and kneeling down next to her. He didn’t even really care that he was ultimately getting mud all over the fronts of his pants. The poor thing looked hurt judging by the agitated wincing and rubbing she was doing to some fairly recent looking electric burn marks on her face. "You okay? What did you get into a fight too…," This was just what he deserved for not making sure everyone was in tow. The Wartortle blinked and gave him a bit of a look, just rubbing at her cheek again with a grumble. Well, whatever had happened, she needed healing. Maneuvering Gin to one arm he reached back and produced her pokeball.
"Here, go ahead and get in your pokeball and we’ll get you healed." That apparently wasn’t what she wanted, immediately huffing and flailing a hand at him. Sebastian was surprised. That was… not what he was expecting. "It’d be better for…""War!" Was the defiant response that he received. Well… alright then. He sighed and put the ball back to his belt. "Fine. Whatever then." Sebastian was about to have an argument after all that had happened. Instead he stood back up and used the same free hand to offer it to the Wartortle. "Come on. Let’s get everyone healed." She took a moment stare at the offered hand, looking confused before finally getting to her own feet and after a moment, reaching up and taking it with one of her own hands. That worked. Without much hesitation, he headed back to the tent and with a sigh, set his own pokemon up on the table as the nurse returned to tend him as well.
"So is Jesse going to be alright? What happened exactly?" Sebastian inquired once the nurse had taken his own pokemon to tend, shifting his attention back to Jay. He could tell the man still seemed a bit upset and was rather curious over what he’d missed.

Jay smiled, even gave a little half-laugh. "Nah, it's safe," he reassured his friend, "Ah did it once mahself." Things shifted to amore serious matter once they were in the safety of the tent and the presence of a nurse. Jay hesitated, but murmured a quiet "Alright" when Sebastian said he would be right back, before turning his attention back to the nurse. He let her know the situation, shifting anxiously, and bowing his head some as she reassured him. "Alright, thank yew miss," he murmured, folding his arms over his chest. He kept his shoulders hunched as he waited, but turned as he heard a small set of steps approach. 'Um, Jay...' Mimey sounded tired, and wary. He'd probably overreacted a bit earlier, but.... 'I'm going to go find everyone, alright? Tod's here. We should probably try and get everyone rounded up and back in their pokeballs so they can get healed, so... Anyway I'll let you know when I get them all back here.' Jay paused, then nodded. "Alright..."
Admittedly, he felt... a little bad. Mimey did a lot, a lot, especially with this whole mess, and he'd gotten awfully mad at her. He was still annoyed that she had tried to push Jesse as much as she had, but... maybe he shouldn't have yelled quite like he did.
He straightened up when Sebastian returned, turning his head to listen towards him. "Mm, yeah, she'll be fine, ah think. She's gettin' healed now. Mahmy's gone ta get thuh others so ah can heal everyone else, but... obviously yew should go ahead 'n heal yer pok'mon next," he urged. He paused, pulling his hat off to run a hand back through his damp hair again. "Don' s'pose yer wantin' ta sta much longer, after all that's happened," he added offhandedly.

Marx leaned forward on the counter once he'd sent the message to Shenaiya, and gazed curiously at all the possible prizes while he waited for his tokens to get counted. Maybe he should figure out what he could use for his pokemon, too? He set his bag down, looking around quizzically at all the options, and then blinking when his holocaster went off. He pulled it out, oblivious to the little furball making itself at home in his backpack as he read over the message. Shenaiya had replied again, and he quirked an eyebrow when he read her message. Attacking people? Huh...
Text to Shenaiya:
It was attacking people? How weird! I didn't even hear anything about that! But alright, I'll let you know! Maybe I can swing by and say hi/bye before I go :D Good luck with battling the Ludicolo!

Considering the children's reactions to being part of a pirate crew, Scarlett wondered if maybe she should have revealed this fact sooner to get them to go along. Riley had essentially ignored any other names besides "Captain" because it meant they were going to be like pirates. "Aye lass, you're going to be part of my crew far a bit." Scarlett grinned, ruffling Riley's hair. Even Cerbera, who had been a been off-put by Scarlett's reaction to Zak revealing her name, now seemed to be excited by how mad this would make her parents. Not only that, but she openly revealed that she was a ninja, which was useful information. They could put those skills to use. Huey was the only one who still seemed confused, but he agreed to go along with it nonetheless, sticking with calling her Miss Fortune as his name of choice.
With that settled, Riley and Huey set about introducing their pokemon to each other while the group made their way towards the main entrance, and Scarlett tuned it out for the most part, only taking note of what name belonged to which pokemon, and what pokemon belonged to which child. If they were going to be working together, they needed to get acquainted. When they finally arrived at the scene though, Zinzolin was nowhere to be found, but the ground was wet and muddy with footprints scattered all over. Many trainers were crowding the healing stations or had their pokemon still out on high alert. "Looks like we just missed somethin'...." Scarlett murmured, taking another look around. "Alright swabbies, gather close." Scarlett lowered herself slightly to the children's level, waiting for them to huddle around before continuing. "When you come upon a scene like this, it's best to start gathering information as quick as ya can b'fare the trail runs cold." Scarlett explained. "The way I see it, we've got two options." She pointed out the crowds of trainers. "Option one, ya go askin' witnesses far information; where he went, what happened, what was said and done. Ifn ya're goin' that route, look far someone who daen't look busy like, or they won't give ya the time of day, savy?" She explained, pausing a moment to let the information sink in.
Afterwards, she pointed out the Plasma grunts sneaking and hiding around some of the trees and buildings, trying to lay low. "Option two, ya go battle and interrogate the grunts far information. The problem is, they're much less likely to be cooperative and disclose any information at all, an' ifn they do, ya gotta be able to tell whether or not they're lyin' to ya, or it's worthless. That's where psychic types come in handy ifn' yer inexperienced at lie detectin'." Scarlett suggested, since all three of the children appeared to own psychic types. "We're gonna need both sets of information to see if they match up, and to get both sides of the story, so ya can't all choose one or the other, figure out amongst yerselves who's doin' what. As far me, I'm goin' with option two." Scarlett murmured, cracking her knuckles and making her way over to one of the grunts nearby.

Cheria Barnes Isis Nikon Olivia Beaumont (Listed as Olive)
Vince decided not to comment further on his disagreement of partnership being the next best thing to friendship. In his opinion a partnership was the best relationship a trainer could have with their pokemon. Friendship was for housepet pokemon; Vince needed comrades. For the sake of keeping things in a lighter mood though, Vince remained quiet until Olivia insisted that she would pay for the drinks, and then Vince felt the need to lightly object. Or at least he had to make sure she knew what she was doing, and that he didn't expect her to pay for every drink he downed if he got overzealous. She seemed to not really care though, given that he was paying by satisfying her curiosity and plus this was her birthday gift to him anyways. With that in mind, Vince finally gave in, and Olivia mentioned appreciating that he was at least going along with all of this. "Well it would be quite rude of me to refuse your gift. I may be a modest and stubborn man, but I'm not a jerk." He chuckled.
Once they found a suitable pub-like area, the two sat down and Vince was helped through the process of picking out a drink, though he soon apologized to Olivia for seeking the bartenders help instead of hearing any suggestion she might have made. Olivia laughed it off though, understanding the want to go for a professional, given that was the wisest choice. Vince nodded agreeably and took another sip of his drink while Olivia ordered something called a red tail, causing Vince to glance over at the pinkette curiously. "What's a red tail?" He asked while the bartender went off to retrieve said drink. When asked for his thoughts on his own drink, Vince chuckled and shrugged. "It's pretty good, though admittedly not my first drink." He pointed out. "My family often served sake for certain celebratory occasions, things like holidays, birthdays, weddings, wedding anniversaries, baby showers. Sometimes it was champagne." He explained thoughtfully. "Of course when I was younger I never had any of it, but I started getting a small glass around fifteen just so I could be a part of the celebration, and then around eighteen they essentially treated me like I was legal to drink, since I was family and we were already home, so there really wasn't any harm in it." Vince shrugged.
Though, even with all of that exposure, he had never really drunk more than a glass. There was only one instance he could even recall actually getting drunk, and that was Jian's birthday last year, because he had of course gone and goaded him into doing something stupid like a drinking contest. Arceus..... He couldn't remember that day very well, but he knew what had been the cause, and he was still somewhat ticked off at Jian for it. Everything with that brother of his turned into some sort of contest or challenge. Vince didn't understand what Jian wanted to prove. That he could beat his little brother at something? They were five years apart, he had more experience, but Vince still bested him in sword fighting, so he supposed Jian had to beat him in everything else to make up for it. It was annoying, and Vince wanted no part in his ego stroking game, yet Jian knew just how to push Vince's buttons to get him going along with it. Vince grimaced and took another large sip of his drink to help his mind numb from these pesky fleeting thoughts. He didn't want to think any more, but on his own, he couldn't easily let all these little things go.

Finally, his tokens were counted up, and Marx quickly straightened, leaning forward to discuss with the attendant. He was able to decide on several TMs and some heartscales, and, curiously, managed to score a deal to get a few other bonus items for spending so many at a time. He grinned, thanking the curious attendant and gathering his items, while requesting a bag to store his left over winnings. He may decide to spend them later, once he was ready to leave, but for now he was going to store them. Tucking everything away -- he would actually use them later -- he looked around, trying to figure out where to go to find Rose. With a little help from Flygon, he was able to figure it out, and spotted her, and the magician from before, and picked up his pace, heading over with a grin, his pokemon trailing along a distance behind to continue playing games. "Hey guys!" he greeted.

Sebastian handed over his team and with a sigh brushed his hair back before glancing over to Jay as he spoke up. He frowned a bit in thought as he mentioned that Jesse would be alright. "Well that’s good, I’m happy to hear that." He remarked, tugging his bag off and setting it down on the ground next to him. He watched as the Igglybuff wiggled her way out once more, giving her an apologetic look as she huffed in his direction. He certainly hadn’t meant to bundle her into the bag like that. He turned his focus back to Jay though a moment, watching a second.
"Thanks, I will." He chuckled, glancing over to where the pokemon had been taken for healing. Hopefully they’d all be alright. He gave a little shrug and let Pichu jump off and down to wander, keeping an eye to make sure he didn’t go wandering away. "By the way… are you okay Jay? You looked really worried earlier." He inquired. He was still curious what had been going on honestly. At the question of whether they’d stay or not he tilted his head a bit, and thought.
"Well… I think there’s still more to see." Sebastian remarked, rubbing the back of his neck before fiddling with the braid of his hair. Ew… it was pretty wet. "Though, if you wanted to start heading off we could. I wouldn’t mind." He certainly didn’t want to keep Jay here if he wasn’t feeling like staying. Eventually, they’d have to get back to gyms and training and such at some point anyways. Still though, it was certainly a shame that things had soured as they had. Ah well.

Rose just giggled a bit when the shellder blew a raspberry at her in greeting. She tilted her head slightly as MD mentioned it being a terrible place to ditch a pokemon. Why would someone even ditch their pokemon? It wasn't a thought that had occurred to her before, that other trainers might ditch pokemon. Luckily, MD turned out to be okay after being pelted upside the head with the pokeball, and surprisingly didn't magic the shellder there. "Heh, well at least it managed to come into good hands, right?" Rose commented. MD seemed like a nice guy, so at least it wasn't like the pokemon's ball didn't land somewhere else, left forgotten. Maybe he'd even find the original trainer.
"Weeeeell not so much visited as... I actually flew over it after visiting a different place in Unova." She said as MD identified the city as Nimbasa. He even said he'd been there, saying it was fun and had a great arcade. "I can't wait until I can get all my friends together to meet up at that park! It sounds like it's going to be even more fun than it looked!" she exclaimed happily. MD then asked if she was traveling with her friends. "Not... really. Up until now, we've all been working on getting badges in different regions than each other. And from the text I got from Marx, it seems like he needs to get right back to collecting badges, too." the red head responded. It was really too bad. She'd like to tag along with some of her friends, but if they were already far into a region, she was sure Fynx would say that she'd just be a distraction from the needed training. Fynx would probably also tell Rose she had some training of her own to do.
Surprisingly, Marx reappeared shortly after. "Marx! You finally found your way back! I wanted to give you something before you have to leave." Rose exclaimed, reaching into her bag to pull out the ball containing a skarmory. "Happy late birthday!" she smiled, handing the pokeball over to her friend. She hoped that he'd like it, or at least find some use for it.

Lafayette was rather surprised to find that the entrance area itself was well… a mess. As opposed to must frosted ground though, there was a mix of water as well, the ground to some degree thick with mud. He grimaced as he lifted a boot and flicked some of the mess off, making a sour face as driblets caught onto his armor. It wasn’t going to rust easily from such small moisture but it was still unpleasant.
Even Noah made a face, trying hard to lift his bucket up more to avoid it being dragged through the mud. He didn’t really mind mud, but he certainly didn’t want his bucket getting stuck. It was proving to be a difficult task though and after a moment Lafayette took notice.
"Here mate." He remarked and without hesitation, snatched the Dewott up under his free arm. Noah gave a little chirp of surprise, still clutching the bucket in his paws as he now hung underneath his trainer’s arm. Well… at least he wasn’t in the mud anymore. With that handled, Lafayette began his way over towards where the lotto and prize booths were located. He hadn’t heard anything concerning the lottos so he’d just wait to visit but he could definitely use the visit to the prize stands.

It was a solid struggle to traverse in both armor and mud but eventually, Lafayette made it there. And he was proud of it. With a grunt, he plopped Noah down on the counter of the prize booth much to the startled surprise of the attendant, giving him a cheeky grin in response.
"Hey there mate, mind countin’ mah coins?" He inquired and before the man could even respond and proceeded to nearly dumb the thousand or so tokens out in front of him. It was probably by some luck that they didn’t just scatter everywhere, though Cheri, who’d also been placed on the counter, was keeping a close eye to assure none of them went missing. This was a large haul after all and she certainly wouldn’t let a token go uncounted.
The man gave Lafayette a bit of a look but shook his head, the psychic –a Ralts it seemed- setting to motion helping count through all the coins, dividing and stacking them into neater piles. Lafayette drummed his fingers on top of the counter as he waited, gaze shifting out to observe the crowd. He was rather curious what had happened but had a mind to believe it was the work of Plasma and Zinzolin. He felt a bit of agitation at the thought; he’d never quite caught up to that old b*****d and he’d be regretting it later he was sure…

MD chuckled a moment as Rose mentioned the Shellder now being in good hands. "I suppose so. At least for now." He grinned and returned his focus; there was definitely a need to check the lost and found just in case, but he could do that later. Speaking of… he really needed to check on Uriah and his other pokemon at some point. They’d been off playing games for quite a bit.
"Oh?" He was a little surprised then. Nimbasa tended to be one of those destinations trainers actually stopped at when they saw it. She must’ve been really moving to not have a chance to actually take a look. She seemed excited though about the prospect of gathering her friends and going there. MD couldn’t blame her; he’d spent almost half his life in that place. Good times, good times.
He tilted his head curiously as she described the situation. Ahh… well now he supposed he could understand that. It was hard sometimes to keep a band of people travelling together. Eventually, people divvied off on their own only to come back together a little while later, especially if badges were involved. It probably made sense why she was at this fair after all. He ‘hm’ed to himself, rapping his fingers on the top of his arm before opening his mouth to speak again. Marx reappeared though and he shifted his focus to him instead, smiling and giving a little nod in greeting.
"Well welcome back!" he chimed, watching curiously as Rose set about talking with her friend, offering him a belated birthday gift. Aw, well now wasn’t that sweet? He was rather curious what the pokemon was though, quietly eyeing the ball and glancing between it and Marx. Hopefully something safe with the way this kid seemed…

Cyrus merely nodded as Apollo told him to go on ahead. Still wet and irritable, the dark skinned male trudged on over to the prize booth for the lotto. "What are the winning numbers so far?" he asked, ignoring the look he got from the booth attendant. They shared the numbers, and Cyrus found that he had gotten third place prizes for a few of the lottos, but that was it. Well, at least it was something. He picked out his prizes, then waited for his friend.

Berrie sounded like she was having fun, which made Riley happy. She didn't want to feel like she was dragging her new friends into something they didn't want to do! "Oh yeah! Maybe you could become a pirate instead of a ninja," she said, remembering how Berrie had seemed to not want to be a ninja when they talked about it during lunch.
Amalia yawned a big yawn, a little squeak coming out of her mouth. <"Amalia sleepy..."> She snuggled deeper into Lua's arms. She was a baby, after all, and she needed plenty of rest. Amalia was content to fall asleep in Lua's arms.
Kuraz's affinity for witty banter ended there. He was pleased enough to have gotten Spirit to be the one sputtering this time. <"You could try, but I've been told I have a thick head.">
Riley nodded to Huey. "Yeah, pirates! She's the Captain, right? Though I've never seen her boat. Do we get a boat?" Seul was glad he could approve of at least Huey and Berrie as companions. Scarlett wasn't as good, but she had helped Riley in the Distortion World so he'd give her the benefit of the doubt. "Oh, Tybalt sounds a little like Vanyel." Plus, they were the same species. Riley wondered, maybe she should evolve Vanyel. A gallade seemed like a good choice for him. "Hi Tybalt, and Yuki, and Prim, and Klefki." Riley did her best to smile at each of them. "Your pokemon are all so pretty Huey! Minerva might like to be called fierce though," she added, remembering the Hydreigon he had used to fight.
Vanyel jumped a little when Tybalt said hello. He quickly looked away, nervous, but looked back. <"Hi..."> he responded telepathically and only aiming his words at Tybalt, although Seul could hear too if he listened in. <"Sorry, I was...staring. Because."> He glanced away and saw Seul make a "go on" motion with his head. Vanyel looked back. <"I wanted to say hi. Too."> He really needed to speak up though. <"And I wanted to know...you're a gallade,"> he said, although he meant to ask about what it was like, maybe even advice. Because Vanyel himself was a kirlia, and seeing Tybalt made him think of the future, and he was also just interested in another of his own kind.
Riley grinned up at Scarlett, so excited this was actually happening she could barely believe it. Captain is so cool! When they got to the scene, Riley soaked in every word Scarlett said to them, nodding occasionally. She was ready to impress her with what she could do. In fact, Riley barely stopped herself from dashing after Scarlett. She had to be professional if she wanted to look good. "I'll try to talk to people then, so we can be sure we get both sides. What about you guys?" Riley thought maybe if two of them were going to ask around they could stick together, or at least nearby each other. She was hoping she could find out something useful.

With another grunt Apollo sent both Pearl and Eevee onto the ground, shooting them a disapproving glare, before immediately swiveling around to face the person he'd fallen against. "Hey, thanks for stopping my fall I--" Unintentionally, he found himself stopping as he stared up at his 'savior' who wasn't another human at all, but rather a pokemon; one he didn't recognize at that. The bipedal vulpine lifted one furry arm to cover her mouth as she laughed, eyes closing in her amusement. "What? Is that how you thank your rescuer?" the pokemon teased, a feminine voice drifting into Apollo's head. So a psychic type then? "I, uh, no... sorry, you just caught me off guard." He rubbed the back of his head and looked away, fully aware of the teasing look the pokemon was setting him with.
