The blonde was really quite theatrical, even doing a sweeping bow to deliver his response to the costume. "Heheh thanks." Leon smiled a bit sheepishly. Both siblings had changed into a Fennekin costume tailored for their gender. the one made for Nis was made to be more like a dress while her brothers was a shirt and pants combo. Sin had a hard rubber hand and a half long sword while Nis had a walking cane which was slightly to big for her but matched well to her brothers over sized sword and both had on a wig that was styled to look like they had Fennekin ears. The outfit was rounded out with a large bushy Fennekinn tail and red eye contacts. "Im not a table !"Sin snapped back in equal aggression. Plusle and Minun, caught in the middle of the fighting had taken to walking between the duo rather then ride on their shoulders. They here the real victims in the siblings squabbling. "Why can't you just admit your wrong and say sorry !" Nis stomped her foot on the verge of tears. sin stopped having been doing his best to contain his anger and not lay into what he assumed was his sisters game for attention but the change in her voice told him otherwise. Scarlett pretended not to notice Zak's pointed stare in her direction as she nearly slipped into his accent. It didn't happen, she did nothing, he was hearing things. That was how she wanted to present it, and that was how she was going to present it, like she'd done nothing wrong, and eventually, Zak relented. Arceus, that was a close one. Frankly she hadn't expected him to silently snap at her like that, but it was also kind of his fault. He kept drawling on in his thick accent like that, so yeah, eventually she was going to start tripping up, especially considering that she was a linguistic expert. She wasn't complaining per se, she liked his accent, but if he was gonna get mad at her for nearly slipping into it then he needed to get over himself. Scarlett wasn't going to provoke him though, if he wasn't going to say anything else on the matter or actually bring it up, then she wouldn't either, and for the sake of keeping their trip a more pleasant one, she would try and watch her accent better. It would be annoying, but she didn't really feel like getting into a spat with him. Knowing that it irked him was good knowledge to have though. She did actually recall mimicking his accent when they first met and he did have a similar sort of reaction. Though he'd been more playful with it then, he had still made it clear that it wasn't appreciated with that gun digging under her chin. Still, Scarlett smirked at the memory. Just thinking about it got her pulse racing.
When he teased her about which drink she appreciated specifically, Scarlett explained herself a bit, causing Zak to suggest a drinking contest next time. Scarlett's grin grew at that. "Oh a stór.... Be careful neu. Daen't ya know betta' than to ask an Irishwoman to a drinkin' contest? 'Cause I'll drink ya under the table any day." She laughed. Arceus, that was a dangerous proposition, especially if both of them got drunk. Hell, they were dangerous enough sober. Remove their polite and witty filters with alcohol and they'd probably be at each other's throats in less than a minute. Still, it was such an interesting idea. "But a'caurse, ifn ya insist, I'll take you up on that challenge." She smirked, but for now they focused on figuring out what to do next. It was probably a good thing he didn't suggest that back in that tent, or they probably would have gotten too drunk to enjoy the rest of the fair, but that didn't mean they couldn't have another kind of competition.
For instance, betting on rapidash races. Scarlett mentioned that she'd seen betting boards up and around, expressing an interest in actually watching a few races and getting a better feel of the competitors so that she could place better bets and earn herself more tokens. Zak seemed intrigued by the proposition, agreeing to it on the pretense that he wanted to see just how lucky she was. "Heh~" Scarlett let out an amused laugh. There was a reason why she was given that alias after all. He probably assumed it was one she had given herself, but she would leave that for him to figure out for himself. As they made their way through the main area, Scarlett paused, spotting another ball making booth, but with a different vendor and different pokeballs for samples. Scarlett made her way over, intrigued. "Good day fair maiden~ Did something catch your fancy?" The apprentice greeted. "Yes... This one here." Scarlett picked up a pokeball that seemed crafted in a design similar to a dawn stone, which Scarlett felt was fitting for Aero. "Ah yes, that is a fine piece of work. My mentor Lidia crafted that bright ball. If you like it, feel free to keep it as a sample." Scarlett nodded nodded appreciatively. "That's very generous of you, thanks~" She turned, taking Aero's pokeball and releasing the mega gallade for a moment. He looked inquisitively at her for a moment, confused. "Captain....?" For one, her outfit was a strange change, but not a bad one, for two, he felt the connection with his pokeball severed, so it was confusing for him until Scarlett held out the bright ball. "I thought this pokeball might suit you better." She explained, and Aero eyed the dawn stone pattern with obvious appreciation. "...Yes, I would very much like this one." He agreed, quite happy, but containing his excitement. With a nod, Scarlett handed him the pokeball, and Aero gave a light bow before capturing himself with it. Zak smirked. It was a damn good thing he had a filter on his mouth, or he might have made some playful jest about the difference between challenging an irish woman, vs an irish man. He was 100% certain that Scarlett wouldn't take kindly to it, regardless of the tone he used. Too sexist. Besides, Scarlett was a woman that could hold her own. The pokemon that were training were starting to feel the wear and tear of it, but honestly, none of them were quite ready to stop. The people helping were doing a good job; they offered food, water, and breaks. And they were getting stronger. All of them could feel it. They surpassed stages and excelled upward, and even vaporeon was getting a bit boasty over her strength. They knew their next battle would involve fire pokemon, which meant they also knew which of them would need to be the strongest. And she... was one of them. Which, of course, entirely went to her head, but no one, not even Sableye, was going to try and pop that ego until she was strong enough. Just... in case she decided to throw a fit and stop training because of it.

She stared in awe as she took in their surroundings, then jumped up, flailing her little hands in the air. "Jay! Jay! There are games here! Can we play some games??" she asked eagerly. He shuffled through his selection, frowning a bit as he realized he really had quite a few pokemon he could pick from, and, as importantly, needed to train. More than a single active party, in fact, which posed a few problems. Before he could really make up his mind on how to go about this, though, he heard someone calling over to him. "Excuse me, Sir? Sir?" He turned his head, releasing Zoey so she could rest onto his shoulder, squeaking out so he could hear where the majority of people were. Apollo grinned widely when he spotted the light pink that began to dust Leon's cheek at his compliment, pleased as always that his comment had managed to get a blush out of someone. "You're pretty cute when you blush," he pointed out before he gently patted his friend's cheeks. He drew back and straightened up before he breezed past Leon, pushing past a few costumes on their hangers before he grabbed one that stuck out to him. With a satisfied nod he began to make for the training room, "I'll be right back." It didn't take long for Apollo to reappear, he was a rather quick changer after all, and in his costume no less. "What do you think?" he inquired, fingers gently running over his own cape. "Would you kneel before me?"
Sylvia, with her head held high, moved over to the next game and, much to her delight, managed to destroy shatter all three plates available to her and was given a grand total of six tokens. With her successful streak still going she moved onto the crossbow game, once again managing to get a rather impressive score-- she'd even managed to hit a bullseye at one point. Twelve tokens were earned from just that game-- someone come stop her, she was too good!

Leon 'swatted' Apollo's hands away in a playful manner after he pat his cheeks, calling him cute with his blush. He still grinned all the same. The blond apparently found a costume meeting his requirements, excusing himself to go change. It wasn't long before the blond emerged, now in costume. Apollo certainly looked good in the outfit, though Leon wasn't surprised. He seemed like the type of guy that could make anything look good. As he was asked what he thought, Leon's inner dork couldn't help but show up. "Well, I say..." he then took to a knee, taking Apollo's right hand with his left. "Long live the king." he smirked, then kissed the back of the blonde's hand. After his own theatric, he got back to his feet. It was time they went and paid for the costumes, all fun aside.
Autumn was quite satisfied with the next run of games. Her betted jouster got second, and once more, she got 8 berries.
