Dekana blinked as the key would not come loose but something clicked within on the pulling of the key. Dekana instead chose to push the key in, seeing if that still affected the lock.

"I have no idea," Puella shook her head. "You should pick one up, too, though; I got it over there!" She indicated the area where she'd found the runes with cheer.
She picked her rune back up and followed Fia. "Nope," she said, shaking her head.
Wait. Wait, she had an herb remedy thing...she hurried over to that coffin and flailed at the villager inside, offering him the old herb remedy she'd been given for helping that reaper ghoul out.

Devoltados felt his ears ringing as he came to, blinking and groaning. Had he snuck too much to drink? No..bad food? Nope, not that. Then what...
The booming voice had him cringing as the words seemed to shake his very bones. "WHOA." Golden eyes crossed as he pushed himself upright, trying to convince himself that he remembered what had happened.
Last he knew, he'd been a nearly-sobbing mess in a puddle of broken wyvern egg...
And now he was here. In a cave. Surrounded by people that he didn't know, again.

Of course, the idiotic fur-brain was jumping pellmell into some dark, gaping hole in the ground. Classic moron.Volt stumbled to his feet, and made his wobbly way over to the hole, falling to one knee beside it to look for any signs of his furry companion.Immediately as he did, he rather ungracefully fell back onto his butt as the cloud of minipets shot past him with Fluff-for-Brains in tow.
Working his way to his feet, satisfied that Kalden was not grease on the bottom of a hole, the dark phoenix was captured by the crystals. Curious, he reached out and pushed on a crystal formation testingly to see if it would move.

Lock followed Piper to the water.
He squinted for a moment.
And then proceeded to make a fishing rod out of his whale fin like they had been able to earlier.
He was going fishing in the water, yes.

Kalden made a rather undignified squawking noise as he was plucked from his attempted plunge into the abyss. Deposited, a touch disgruntled, on the solid ground of the cavern once more, he stuck his tongue out at his tiny saviors. "I coulda handled that..." He grumbled, sighing heftily as he once more had to push errant silver locks out of his eyes.
No one around here wanted him to have any fun.
So like an adult, he crawled under the table to sit beneath it and sulk.
It wasn't until he was already underneath that he noticed Volt scrabbling about the hole. "PSSSSSSSSST! C'mere, there's a hoard of ungrateful bats in there and you don't want any part of it!"
Yes, he was going to be sore about his thwarted 'heroics' for some time. Or at least until something more grandiose distracted him.
Kailani cursed when she first awoke. She did not remember falling asleep, but whatever had over come her, had hit her hard. The ooze rubbed her head as she looked about. It seemed she had lost Neithan once more, but this time Fia as well. Where every they were, she hoped they were okay. But for now, she had to figure out where she was and what was going on... again.
The first thing that drew her eye were the round table in the middle of the cavern. She wandered over to it. Perhaps there was something different to it that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.
He followed the bloody mess with his own footprints.
The footprints stopped at a point where someone had sloppily dug the floor open. There was a giant circular stone slab that had a smaller circle carved out. A number on it was written: 314.

He looked under the table to see if there was anything important beneath it.
Someone had stuck an inordinate amount of chewed up gum at the bottom of the table and it was now gaining sentience, staring at him with malicious intent.
Andrew glanced around , watching the other creeple move and fuss about.
He saw a horseman pick up a run and insert it into the crystal slots and then Andrew grabbed another rune and put it into the other slot.
This seemed like a decent idea. Maybe the paper meant something as well... the 7 seemed important. There were a number list and a 0 and other things. His mind was working, he needed five numbers. What did it mean?
And 5 runes, perhaps they needed to carve the runes themselves some how?

Once she had finishes stretching and was fully awake Camilla moves to look at the Crystal nearby. When she saw there were slots in them and that runes might be needed she moves over to where the blank ones were.
Curiously, she picks one of the blank runes up. Even if it was worthless it was nice looking.

Seeing that he had gotten too close to the bottom of the table, the giant wad of gum stuck to said bottom of table that had formed semi-sentient life, began to grab with sticky claws anything it could reach.

Sayael placed her hands on her hips as the voice spoke, and she blew a raspberry as it went away.
"Well." Turning her nose up, she crossed her arms. "Oi've done quite enough errands for you, and we still haven't earned your trust!?" Honestly. HONESTLY! Stamping her foot, the sugar faerie moved over to the crystals and thought for a moment, tapping her lips.
A puzzle, a puzzle. She needed a second eye to see things.
Taking her basilisk eye, she held it up to the crystals to create more reflections of the basilisk eye, and giggled at her little joke.

Marosa crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, body tilted to lean against his left side. He blinked slowly as the voice spoke, and had to admit that it made perfect sense. After all, one could only do so many errands and trust so much, and they hadn't really know the students...
"Aye." The redhead called, looking over the items and seeming alarmed at the blood. He walked over to the little bits of blood and stuck his fingers in a small spot of blood, seeing if it was still warm.

The little white fluffball shivered at the voice, and was about ready to cry. He didn't dare call out for Kalden, but bounded around attempting to find his brother, wings hunched over his frame as if to hide himself.
Not that he could really hide with his white feathers and all.

The shaman tilted her head, trying to wrack her brain. She did see several others that had been turned over but most of them didn't make sense. Hadn't someone yelled something about 8's...? And a key? What kind of key?
Sil squinted at the papers. One stuck out to her that read a long jumble of numbers. That wasn't going to help her... Unless she could take it with her. Silannas tries to gently pick up the piece of paper with to carry with her.

The table still looked rather lived in, with the etches as previously noted by Vaudrey. The gum however, had began to absorb anyone who was too close to the bottom of the table
