(Little historical note, though you're of course not obligated to follow actual Regency law, an illegitimate child--one born out of wedlock regardless of order--would not be eligible to inherit any entailed property which is probably the bulk of what really matters, land, titles, etc., but could inherit unentailed property such as money and goods. It would be pretty much impossible to legally change this though they could probably do it unofficially... But then the whole issue would begin again with his children. But anyhow! This is just me being pedantic! ♥)
