History: Rawden grew up in an upper middle class family as the third son. He was always close to his family. And expected to become a doctor or enter the medical profession in some way. Just like his brother Walter who became a bone doctor, and his brother Philip who became a medical professor. But he didn't want to he wanted to make things with his hands. At first his parents refused to let him study clock smithing. But as he got older it became evident he was not made for the sciences and his parents grudgingly allowed him to become a clock smith with the knowledge that Walter would continue the doctors line. Soon after starting his apprenticeship his father died of natural causes. His sister isabella watched him as he learnt the art of making watches and fell in love with tinkering with her hands. He taught her little things and she started to make jewelry in her free time. Rawden finished his apprenticeship soon after and opened up shop. With in a year his sister Isabella moved in with him in an attempt to avoid being married off. To pay rent she makes jewelry that Rawden sells in his shop along side his watches. His prother Philip was one of the many who have died because of the return of the wolf. Rawden Wishes he could one day become chosen so he could protect the rest of his family from falling to the same fate. His wife Jane and their child moved in with Walter and vanessa in the families home. Rawden would visit on sundays to take care of the children and his aging mother.
Personality: Rawden is most comfortable with his family. Even though they are upper middle class they still respect freedom and actually let their children choose their partners for the most part. Though if they had chosen someone of lower class the parents would probably object. But this freedom let him grow a strong personality that lead him to rebelliously chose clock making, and be open to telling his family anything. But he still has one secret that he could never tell his family and which caused him to close his heart more as he hit puberty. This secret is he fancies men more then woman. He knows this would cause a scandal and for his family to never forgive him, even his sweet darling Isabella who saw him in such high esteem would see him as a smirch to the family name. This lie that he's been telling since puberty has closed himself to most of the outside world thinking never getting close would never get him caught. What he doesn't know his most of his family suspects and Isabella full on knows. But they'd never bring it up knowing how much of a taboo it is. But they also wouldn't say anything if they noticed he'd gotten a little to close to a male friend. Still he's very passionate about his work and can spend hours a night perfecting one watch with out realizing a minute had passed. He's very protective of his family and will protect him even if it means he has to get in a tuffle, though he would lose in any fight. Overall he's nice, grumpy, closed off, and very protective of those he loves.
